Some clarification for those that aren't sure if their ghosts count:

If a character has been a ghost for a while in canon, they still count and can be submitted. So they don't need to be a ghost anymore, but still enough for that time to leave an impact on the fandom. If they were revived at some point, I don't mind

This poll will allow characters that might only be implied to be ghosts, but nobody is quite sure about it

Welcome To The Overworked Blorbo Battle!

This tournament will be held to determine the very best overworked character of them all! Submit your burnout-bound blorbos to the Google form after reading the rules!

This is the second tournament of @deadguydeathmatch

Rules:

Characters must be overworked, whether it's due to an external or internal pressure doesn't matter.

Characters don't need to have a literal job to qualify, they can be overworked from a hobby, relationship or any other number of things

Fictional characters only, no real people

No Harry Potter, terfs and other bigots stay far away

BE CIVIL! Don't harass or attack me or your fellow voters.

Propaganda is both allowed and encouraged provided it's good natured.

You may submit as many characters as you like, but only submit one per form

Do not submit the same character multiple times

The closing date for submissions hasn't been decided yet and neither has the amount of characters in the tournament. (Though it will probably be less than 128 this time)

Welcome all, to the fuck-you-up music bracket!

Ever had a song you can't get out of your head, a song that strips you down to your very being and leaves you with nothing? A song that you project onto your angstiest of blorbos? A song that hits you smack where you live? Or how about a song that you just really enjoy?

Then this tournement is for you! Here you can submit your favourite song that fucks you up the most, and battle it out to see which ballard will be named the ultimate fuck-you-up song of tumblr!

Submission Rules

Submissions will stay open for a week, but if I get a crazy amount of submissions, then it'll close sooner.

Alternatively, if I don't get as many, I might leave it open longer so there's a good amount :)

This probably goes without saying by this point, but don't do multiple re-submissions of the same song. It just makes the sorting process so much more difficult for me

Yes, you can submit songs from musicals and TV shows. However, I won't be including more than 2-4 songs from each media, depending on how long that particular soundtrack is.

Song must be at least remotely fuck-you-up-ish. You must be able to justify its place within the tournement

Instrumentals are allowed

You can rant a bit about whatever blorbo you may project the song onto. It'll help me understand it better

You're allowed to submit a song by a problematic artist, however I am not in control of how quickly that gets voted off

Propaganda is allowed and encouraged! No slander though

Rules:

Real movies only (Yes I know Malisa the serbian pigeon movie is great. I will include it from my own volition and only if I am only one movie short from a complete bracket)

Not the Lord of the Rings because we all know it's the best movie with war in it that has ever existed.

As you'll see in the form, "war movie"'s definition is rather large, comprehending movies that happen during a war but are not focused on it, or movies about things going on parallel to a war (secret operations, war time politics, prisonner of war, etc).

Please once it starts be respectful of each other in the tags and uplift your movie without downing the other.

well. i’m jumping on to the bracket bandwagon

step right up and present your evil old men to me! “what constitutes an evil old man,” you ask? allow me to outline my rules!

they’re evil! this character must be a villain or otherwise morally bankrupt in some way.

they’re old! this tourney is seniors only, folks! ideally 60+ but that’s more of a guideline than a rule. they must be visibly old, characters that are technically thousands of years old but appear youthful do not count.

they’re man! i LOVE evil old women as much as the next guy but that’s not what this particular tournament is about

I'm your host, mod Scythe, with a competition to find the ultimate homies, bros, pals, platonic life-partners, whatever you wish to call them! Submit your inseparable duos to face off against others for the the title of "Ultimate Bros"!

But first, some quick rules and clarifications:

Any media is welcome, but the characters submitted must be fictional! Sorry, no real people!

Obviously, characters must be submitted in pairs.

"Bro" is intended to be a gender-neutral term, and the bromances don't necessarily have to be two characters of the same gender.

The duo must (in canon, at least) be platonic! No explicitly romantic pairings!

Hello and welcome to this tournament! An tournament with anonymous characters, with flowers representing them!

Is your blorbo underappreciated? Are they unknown? Do you have an cool oc and want more people to know about them? Do you want to see if your blobo can win a tournament with a description alone? Do you like flowers and their meanings? Well, this tournament is for you!

• Every character will be anonymous, and will be represented by a flower or a bouquet. Submit a flower or bouquet that matches the character! Maybe because of the meaning the flower has, maybe because of the character backstory, maybe because of the flower story, just explain me why!

• Every post will have the meaning the flower or the bouquet has, why it matches the character, a short description and a link to a post with a longer description about the characte.

• Don't submit real people please!

• I will pick the characters based on their description, so try to make it interesting and also not obvious!

Now that the tournament has ended i just wanted to say a few things!

• The character with the most submissions was the Phantom of The Opera with 12 submissions, followed by Tuxedo Mask with 10 submissions!

• Corvo, the winner of the bracket, got less submissions than the second and third place! He got 2 submissions

• My initial idea was to draw a special mask to the winner but it didn't work out because I couldn't create a cool design that would work for all of them

I might do a season 2 for this bracket someday, but for now I will keep working on my other tournament @obscuremaskedcharactertournament

This tournament is for obscure characters that wear masks, regardless of what type of masks they wear (a gas mask, a theater mask, a helmet, maybe they have no face and the face is the mask itself! The important part is the mask!)

Rules:
