Okayokayokay you guys know the theory that Michael Afton is possessing Glamrock Freddy, right?

What if he’s not fully aware of what’s going on? Glamrock Freddy’s AI causes them to be a mix of Freddy and Michael, but possessing sentient beings is very difficult, so it’s more so Freddy.

They have memories of being Michael Afton, but they don’t really know who they are. They have memories of their family’s faces, but not if their personality.

Michael/Freddy sees Gregory as Evan because of their physical experiences

Michael stared at his ceiling as rain fell late at night. He could’ve sworn he was somewhere else but he was here now, in his room. Evan’s birthday party would be in a week, and Michael was making sure it would be the best one he would ever have. Knowing how scared Evan was of Fazbear’s, he convinced his father to move the party to an arcade Evan loved.

Michael was disturbed by a small knocking on his door, only one member of his family knocked like that. Father and Elizabeth would just storm in, and mother was louder, “come in.” Michael said gently, moving to the side in order to look at Evan.

Evan looked… well like a mess. He was looking worse and worse with his nightmares. Michael sighed, “over here.” He said, patting down the spot next to him on the bed. Evan stood for a few awkward seconds, before laying next to Michael, “do you want to talk about it?”

Evan shook his head but spoke anyway, “I keep on seeing them” them, the animatronics. “They’re scary.”

Michael sighed, “listen, when I’m here, nothing can hurt you, okay? I’ll protect you.” Slowly as to not startle Evan, Michael moved his arm to half hug his brother, “I promise, I won’t let anything happen to you.”

Evan smiled, and so it made Michael smile. God, his little brother was so cute, “thanks, Mikey.” Evan said teasingly, knowing Michael hated the nickname.

“Ugh, it sounds too much like Mickey.” They both laughed, it was nice. Michael realized that the rain had stopped.

Crash

Michael woke up with a jolt. The loud bang of thunder waking him from his peaceful dream. He reached for Evan, an instinct

He wasn’t there of course, Michael killed him ages ago.

It’s not good or long, the ending is rushed cause I’m not feeling good

A theory unrelated to this AU about FNAF 4: we’re playing as Michael Afton. TW for child abuse

I think FNAF 4 is a punishment for Michael for his younger brother’s death, William is using whatever the game version of illusion disks is to make Michael think his life is in danger every night. This doesn’t really have much evidence, but it’s what I believe.

Not AU related, Security Breach spoilers

“Break and Mend, I built the breath. They hunt now, drawn to life. Not real, still me. And frit and fraught with thought zest and gest no blunt woes. Dodge, duck, flash, shoot, crawl, run, crush the vile band. Cry not, try not. No not hold out hope. Your life, your aim will save those with souls.” Michael, you’re my favorite FNAF character and I love you, but WTF is this?

I’m assuming this is about his experience during Sister Location, but I can’t figure out some of the lines. Michael should get an English degree ISTG.

This AU follows my interpretation of Michael Afton, so here’s some more information about him.

-William injected him with remnant when he was young to study it’s affects, this is why Michael didn’t die after Sister Location

-As said in my last post, Michael is a huge pyromaniac

-He never moved on from Evan’s death, and he’s terrified of becoming a killer

-He looked up to and loved his father for the longest time. Only after Sister Location when his father didn’t reply to his calls did he realize William was a bad father

-While looking for his father, he slowly started to realize that William was the one who killed the missing children

-William told him it was Henry

-Michael lived on the streets for a few years before Sister Location when his dad found him, gave him a house and large sum of money, and told him about Elizabeth

-Michael found out about the whole child spirits after Sister Location

-He found out Evan was sharing Golden Freddy with Cassidy in FNAF 1, hearing his little brother’s voice saying it’s me whenever GF was around

-Michael wants to save his brother

-Michael burns William in FNAF 3, this gave Evan his happiest day, as it showed that Michael could be a good person

-By FNAF 6, Michael and Henry are working together to try to kill William for good

-Michael wears a bear mask, but people love him, even though he feels uncanny

Michael Afton loves fire. Watching it flicker and hearing the popping noises that came from it. He always was. He remembered watching as his mother cooked, not the meal itself, but the fire on the stove. He stole one of his father’s matchbox and lit a match. Not to set anything on fire, just to watch. He went over to Jake’s one night. Their house was large, and his parents decided to light a fire outside to make s’mores. Michael hadn’t even cared about the food. The fire in front of him took away all his attention. Jake had to put a s’more right in front of Michael’s mouth to get him to look away from the fire. Michael carried matches on him wherever he went. When he got nervous from the killer animatronics after him, he lit a match to ease his own emotions.

So it shouldn’t have surprised William when he saw gasoline on the floor. Or Michael outside, holding a lit match. He thought Michael had came to save him. But he didn’t. Michael must’ve known about the murders. William screamed to get Michael’s attention, but it has too late. The match was dropped.

Michael watched the building burn with a small smile on his face. It shouldn’t be this satisfying to watch his own father burn to death. But his father was a killer, finally getting what he deserved. And besides, the fire was beautiful, burning everything it could. It didn’t think, didn’t worry, it just destroyed.

Michael is a lonely person, he always has been. When he was younger, it came from his father. Everyone thought William was a kind person, even Michael himself, they didn’t see the neglect that came from William. Even when he was close with Jake, Millie, and Adrian he never felt like they actually knew that much about him. And then Evan died. He bullied his little brother due to the loneliness, his brother died due to his selfishness.

And then Michael ran away. His father was terrifying when he was mad, and Michael knew he was a coward. He lived on the streets, living off money he stole before eventually his father reached out to him; telling him about Elizabeth. Or at least that she was in Circus Baby’s and needed to be “put back together”. Michael thought that maybe, if he saved his sister, he could finally not be alone.

The entire thing just made him more alone though. Being taken over by Ennard and turned into a moving corpse. His father didn’t even have the decency to answer any of his calls. With the newfound information that the animatronics were possessed by dead children, Michael became obsessive over saving them, getting jobs at any Fazbear establishment he could. Hiding his undeadness was strangely easy, make-up and bandages could handle most of it, though he sometimes turned to his bear mask. Whenever he tried to tell anyone about the children, they looked at him like he was insane. Hell, he probably was. But the jobs taught him something awful, his dad was the killer. It was his fault the animatronics were possessed. The father he trusted, looked up to even. It was only after the establishment of Fazbear Frights where he saw the opportunity. He took the job there, happy when they found the Springtrap animatronic. He remembers the night he covered the building in gasoline. He held the lighter in his hand for a few minutes, before forcing himself to drop it and kill his father. It didn’t even work, his father still lived inside of Springtrap, Henry told Michael. Henry was planning, he always was. Even when Michael was a kid, he could see the man planning everything. But Henry didn’t make Michael feel less lonely, they were just two lonely people working towards the same goal. Lighting a killer on fire. Jeremy didn’t help either, he loved the man, but he didn’t make Michael feel any less alone. Even when the customers loved Michael. All he felt was a burning loneliness.

-Millie chose the Chica mask before she came out as trans, she just really liked Chica

-Cassidy is also a little shit, Evan is more tame

-Adrian, despite being obsessed with Freddy’s, has not yet figured out about the whole possession thing

-Michael needs a nap

-Michael’s pretty good at hiding the whole undead thing, the only oddities are that his skin is an odd shade and he is very frail

-parents think he has a disease

-adult Michael is great with kids

-teenager Michael not so much

-Michael was Mrs. Afton’s favorite, her death made him start bullying Evan

-Adrian hates Michael

Intro to The Masks AU

The Masks AU follows the other three children involved in the death of Evan Afton (the Crying Child). They have been content to forget about that night. To forget about Michael, who had ran away from home shortly after.

Jake. R-Freddy Mask

Jake is the one who has been able to move on the most from Evan’s death. He has a wife and two kids. Jake is quiet and thoughtful, but he can snap if he gets angry.

Millie. S-Chica Mask

Millie is transfem and has become a kind person as she has matured. She has tried to settle down, but her ex-fiancé broke up with her after finding out she was trans.

Adrian. O-Bonnie Mask

Adrian holds the most anger out of the three. He blamed himself, the others, and mostly Michael for everything that has happened. He’s never been able to move on, and follows news about Freddy’s like he lives off of it

The three of them have stayed out of the way, still as friends, since Evan’s death. But after the burning of the FNAF 3 location, Adrian began to try to look for Michael, dragging Millie and Jake along.

As for Michael, this AU takes place in Pizzeria Simulator for him. Henry has waited to start the fire, as they are struggling to find the spring Bonnie animatronic. Michael has started to create a life for himself, being loved by parents and children despite his odd looks and movements.
