I don't think younger/newer users fully grasp the shit show that ace discourse was around 2014-17

It was so hostile that, to this day, discussions that begin to derail just enough can make me physically nauseous, some specific mockery trigger crying sessions years later. We lost most accounts with any sort of ace positivity. There was no information, no support, and all this damage was done predominantly by other queer people.

All this to say that you, however you identify yourself, should be engaging with aphobic comments the same way you do any hate. We don't sugarcoat or try to be comprehensive with people who are blatantly racist, homophobic or terfs, so why give it a pass just because it's coming from a queer person? Before hazbin hotels release in November of last year she held the sneak peek preview watch party in New York, it was only for the first twoepisodes, people who ordered the essential package still havent recieved a playbill from said merch tie that went along with this event, and she has the gull to re-release the merchandise literally 6 months later because.....?????

Yknow for 80 dollars she upcharges people back last year for spoiler revealing trading cards, the pinset which to my knowledge I thought was exclusive including the keychain-which mind you some.people outright paid 80 dollars for this package-

Sorry for the quality but it literally says 'limited edition Keychain, exclusive pin set' so I wasn't wrong for thinking these were limited edition AS THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE OLD EVENT LITERALLY STATED.....

Because I'm a design freak, I went and color picked the pallets of each main character for comparison.

For a "fun" lil' guessing game, they are presented unlabelled and in no particular order. These pallets are so unbelievably redundant that I actually put one character twice by mistake at first, and it took me way too long to realize.

I honestly have no idea why Vivzie is pissed that people don’t like Chaggie all that much, when, let’s be honest… They’re boring as shit??? Both as individuals and as characters. If these bitches were a meal plan, they’d be oatmeal for breakfast, white rice for lunch, unseasoned chicken for dinner, and vanilla ice cream for dessert, their relationship is BLAND and FLAVORLESS.

All they do is reaffirm each other and hold hands, no playful teasing, no bedroom talk, no flirting, NOTHING, and when they do kiss, the camera makes damn sure to IMMEDIATELY back away from it! When all the dudes kiss you get to be up close and personal, take in every last fucking detail, but the ONLY lesbian couple??? OOP, can’t show that for too long! Any and all intrigue their relationship had was crammed in at the last possible second and gets IMMEDIATELY resolved anyway, so why even bother??? HOW FO YOU MANAGE TO MAKE A LESBIAN ROMANCE BETWEEN AN ANGEL WARRIOR AND A DEMON PRINCESS BORING, VIVIENNE????

Oh, I know, because you initially didn’t plan for them to BE an item, and it fucking shows! They were only made a couple because some of the employees thought they were cute, and I’m POSITIVE if Vivzie didn’t cave in, these women would be straight as rulers, I’m not even kidding. She ONLY made them a thing for some extra brownie points, they are as plain as dirt. Not only that, but individually they are STILL BORING

Charlie, despite being the PROTAGONIST, is the character equivalent of wonder bread. She’s got no long lasting arc, barely does anything truly impactful to further her goals herself, instead passively sitting on her hands whining the second she’d gotta be proactive, relying solely on other people to do the difficult shit for her, and speaking of which, Vaggie is even MORE boring somehow!! If Charlie is wonder bread, Vaggie is flour, she’s essentially Millie 2.0, with her only personality traits being “supports her girlfriend” and “fights for her girlfriend”, if you were to remove her from Charlie entirely, she’d be NOTHING. This girl is NOTHING, Her girlfriend is NOTHING, their relationship is NOTHING, just two NOTHING characters in a NOTHING show.

Sorry this got all ranty, I have a lot more thoughts on these two than I realized

You know what the funniest thing about Stolas and Blitzø being childhood friends in The Circus? The fact they weren't even friends. Their background was changed because of a piece of art and Viv couldnt even get that right! Having a rich daddy pay someone to play with you is not how friendship works but I get the feeling that's what Viv's parents did for her cause god help anyone that was her childhood friend

It's not always the actors who set the price but yeah, that seems like a lot. Industry standard for voice actor autographs is usually $40-$60.

Where the FUCK is the playbill from the ultimate preorder package?

I ordered it back when I was into the show, and despite me no longer being a fan of it, I was just sitting down when something hit me: I haven't heard anything back on when the playbill would be released.

They sent a delay message on the 31st of January, and it reads as follows:

As of April 1st, that was 4 months ago.

The show has already ended its shitty season 1.

So where the fuck is the playbill?

Viv can't use that bullshit excuse that she wants to not spoil anyone because this is the SAME idiot who decided it would be smart to have early screenings despite knowing damn well there would be people who wouldn't keep their mouth shut on it; that being EXACTLY what happened as some ended up being spoiled before the show came out. Not to mention the equally stupid decision to release one of the supposedly important songs early without even including the scene that comes with it for context.

There is quite literally no reason for their to be a delay at this point. There's nothing to hide as a surprise anymore, so why is she just... NOT saying anything about it? Like the only shit you can find on her Twitter is basically her liking ValAngel art and posts kissing her ass, and minus the promotions she did on the official page for said ultimate package earlier in January before the stupid show dropped there's been no other update on when it'll ship out.

Kind of fucking annoying given it COULD'VE been shipped earlier but they... Decide to ship it separately?

At this point, if she says nothing by the end of this month, I'm just going to assume she pulled off the biggest damn scam this side of the planet, and it wouldn't even surprise me given the shit I ended up learning about her.

She HAS to know that people likely only ordered for the playbill, right? So why is she just NOT saying anything about it right now?

Ffs, if you go to her Instagram, she's quite literally posting playbills from the shit she goes to, yet for some reason, there's NOTHING about the playbill for HH. Not even so much as a damn picture or mention of the delay from any of her social media.

If someone doesn't call her out on this or even asks what the progress on the damn things are atm since the show is over then she's just gonna get away with not giving people what they paid for.

Since you used to work for Vizziepop, how did you feel about Stolas and Blitzo being together? Did you used to be a fan or did you always hated the ship? Do you think Stoliz is good at all?

I always felt a bit uncomfortable about their relationship, it had potential and some of the original ideas I heard regarding their development going into season 2 sounded promising but from what I understand Viv ultimately went in a different direction.

Personally, it feels like she made the weaker choice. Not sure if the delay of the S1 finale changed things. The episode at Ozzie’s was meant to be the second to last episode of the season but then I guess it was hung up in legal issues with Kesha’s label?

I’d left the show by the time all that went down and it wouldn’t be my place to talk even if I did know details. Regardless, it was an unfortunate outcome and I imagine it had massive implications for the series going forward.

I think Viv just got impatient with her own show and wanted to get right down to the hardcore drama without actually taking the time to build the foundations for it. She also has a bad habit of nabbing ideas from the crew without crediting them.

There’s an episode idea I once pitched where the gang attempts to go to New York for a job but the book takes them to Newark, New Jersey instead, where hijinx ensue, the group gets split up, many jokes at the expense of New Jersey and Blitz is mistaken for the Jersey Devil. It has a passing resemblance to the Hollywood episode—not strong enough for me to make a big deal out if it but I will admit the resemblance is…interesting.

There was another point where a crew member who shipped Stolitz drew fanart of a “what if” where the two had met in childhood and I guess Viv loved it enough to incorporate it into the series despite it being kind of a cringe idea.

I’ll be honest, based on what I’ve seen/heard from the many people she’s burned, Viv has a habit of absorbing whatever idea she fancies at the time without considering if said idea actually strengthens the narrative. It’s pretty unfortunate considering both Helluva Boss and Hazbin have strong concepts in theory but she just doesn’t have the skill to deliver a satisfying narrative, nor does she care to hire writers who can.

it’s so bizarre who I use to be all about Angel and husk back in the day, but now I hate it. I hate how aggressive the official accounts are about it and making these cringe posts

I hate how viv doesn’t know how to write mlm relationships, she ruined the ship. It’s like that nasty huskerdust cocktail at the premiere, that perfectly embodies the ship.

No wonder fans go crazy with headcanons the show just feels so empty there’s just a lot of wasted potential.

Husk is a hypocritical asshole who gives Angel shit about everything even stuff he isn’t gonna do like drugs or have sex with strangers on their last day. I thought he was gonna be the character that people drop their shit on and he’d either flip you off and tell you get your shit together or drop some good as advice, which happened but we don’t fucking see it and he uses the stuff they told him in private or worse drunk to call them out like fuck you. If Angel told husk stuff in private, husk doesn’t get to use that shit against him

Angel is just rape fetish porn that the writers don’t take seriously or get off to it, they swept so much of his character development under the rug either because they didn’t know how to handle SA topics without the pop filters or didn’t think it through. This is the character that viv claimed she put the most love and work in and that was a fucking lie, we were just told he’s getting better and don’t show him getting better. He doesn’t even apologize to husk for the uncomfortable sexual harassment and unwanted sexual advances.

Their situations are absolutely not the same, yeah they sold their souls but for different reasons. Alastor isn’t as bad as valentino, not even close. The only thing he does is make husk work at a bar and was chummy with him in the pilot and even made it worth husk’s wild by giving him free alcohol that husk accepts
