Dances and Balls starters
"Care for a dance?" "You look stunning in that gown." "I didn't know you could dance!" "May I have this waltz?" "The orchestra is simply divine tonight." "Your grace on the dance floor is unmatched." "I've been waiting all night to dance with you." "Isn't the ballroom exquisite?" "I feel like a princess in this dress." "Would you honor me with a dance?" "I didn't recognize you at first in that suit." "This ball is more splendid than I imagined." "You dance as if you've been doing it all your life." "Shall we take a break and get some refreshments?" "I never thought I'd see you here." "Do you think anyone will notice if we slip away?" "The way you move is enchanting." "I can't believe we're finally dancing together." "You stepped on my foot again." "Let's make this night unforgettable." [TWIRL] The sender spins the receiver gracefully around the dance floor. "Of course I'll help you, mate.."
He murmured softly as he started to help him add the ingredients he had gathered.
"I may be evil, but you're the genius."
He observed with a hint of amusement as they worked on making the potion together.

"ERNIE!"
The villain bellowed, his voice could be heard throughout the entire office. He didn't bother opening his door. Ever since the dog had moved in here, he had doggy doors installed, so he could come and go as he pleased. Right now, he was regretting that particular decision. Considering the mischief the pup liked to get up to on his own. Which shouldn't have surprised him, considering how well he knew Ernie. But still. When he didn't hear the familiar patter of his paws, he frowned and rose to his feet, running his fingers through his dark hair in frustration as he moved towards the door in quick strides and opened it roughly. Where he could only just stop himself from colliding with Evie, his new assistant. Who was in fact carrying the little rascal.
"My apologies, miss Sage. Thank you for finding the culprit. I'd like to have a word with him, please."
He added with a meaningful glance at Ernie while he spoke. Trying to remain strong in case he would try those blasted puppy dog eyes on him again..

He was just about to suggest getting them a drink, but didn't when he heard what she said to him. He turned his attention back towards her, swallowing when he heard what she said next. Perhaps he could use that drink..
"What else could I owe you then, Sage?"

Trystan was quick to gather the ingredients he had found.
"Careful!"
He warns, too late to stop him as he fell. Moving closer he examined the cover and started to flick through it, thinking it could be important.

A corner of his mouth quirked a little in response to what she called him. With other people he wasn't quite as indulging, but with her.. He nodded faintly in response to what she said. His dark brown eyes found hers as they started to move together to the music. As if he could look away from her for long. It had been years since he had last danced like this. He was glad that he hadn't forgotten how.
"I'm right here, Sage.."
ball. our muses attend a grand ball, where couples take to the dance floor and let the music flow through them.
Evie clutched Trystan's shoulder as they took to the dance floor. "Can you try not to pass out this ball? It would really put a damper on the night." She smiled at him playfully.

Trystan tensed for a moment as she touched his shoulder. He gradually relaxed though, getting used to the sensation of her touching him. A shame it was only for one dance. Focus, he had to remind himself, you're here on a mission. But even he couldn't deny how breathtaking Evie looked tonight.
"Excuse me?"
He had to ask, brought back to reality when she asked him that question.
"As long as no one recognizes me, we should be alright."
He said as he gently placed his hands on her waist, checking to make sure that she was ready, before he started to lead her across the dance floor.

Trystan was quiet as he followed Ernie to the Healing Room. He was about to ask him what he was doing, but he didn't as he watched him tried to read the potion names.
"You're thinking a potion might help?"
He wondered out loud as he moved around the room himself, reading all the labels on the bottles, hoping that there would be something there that they could use.

Trystan took a shaky breath when Ernie didn't avoid his touch. He gasped softly, his dark eyes wide in surprise as he watched him grab a pen and begin to write. A single tear rolled down his cheek in response, that he quickly wiped away as he noticed where Ernie was going. Nodding faintly, he grabbed a shirt that he put on while he headed towards the door as well.

Trystan watched him helplessly, feeling tears well up in his own eyes. To shake his head in response to his barks.
"I'm so sorry, old friend.. This is all my fault.."
He said softly, reaching for him before lowering his hands again. He'd understand if Ernie didn't want to be anywhere near him right now.

The next morning Trystan woke with a start, alarmed to hear Ernie bark instead of talking to him. Sitting upright, he first observes him for injuries before scanning the bedroom for any signs of danger. Though he had the sinking feeling that he knew what Ernie was trying to tell him.
"It's the curse, isn't it?"
He asked as he met his friend's gaze.

Trystan couldn't help but smile when he heard Ernie snore. He got up to put away the towel he had been using to dry his hair. After which he got settled in the bedroom, extinguishing all of the candles in the room. He usually kept a nightlight on, but he had no need for it when he knew his best friend was near.

"How could I not?"
He wondered as he stared up at the ceiling for a moment. Moving back into a sitting position, he asked;
"Are you comfortable down there? Or do you want to sleep up here?"
He had no idea that the curse was dangerously close to being permanent for Ernie. If he did, he would have worried even more about him. Fought even harder to try and break the curse he was under.

"Not many. Though there are some.."
Trystan dryly observed as he thought of miss Ehring. He blinked in surprise when he heard what he said next.
"That's a good idea. Let's try to root them out quickly. Take down the King.. Turn you back. Easy.."
He observed, heaving a sigh as he dropped himself down onto his bed for a moment.

"She does?"
He couldn't help but ask, because this was something he hoped, but didn't dare to dream about. Pursing his lips together for a moment he considered his suggestion.
"That's true. It could be a temporary situation. If she says yes, of course."

Who is the biggest trouble maker at the Manor?

"I take it you haven't met my puppy yet."

"But if you're asking about my employees, that depends on who you ask."

"Ha-ha, very funny.."
Was Trystan's dry response to his teasing. He sat down on his bed, holding the towel with one hand.
"You'd do that, for me?"
He asked him softly, though there was something about the plan that made him hesitate.
"You wouldn't have anyone to talk to. When she isn't at work."
He faintly shook his head when Ernie mentioned dating her. Tempting as the suggestion was, he couldn't.
"I'm her boss, Ernie. I can't do that."

"Don't even think about escaping!"
Was Trystan's last warning to him before he took his own bath. By the time he returned he was partially dressed, but shirtless, using both hands to dry his hands with a towel.
