Imagine McReid as Merlin AU tho. As in Merlin BBC. As in, Jonathan Reid is a nimrod vampire. Which means he can blend well with humans and no one can see past his vampirism. He can even eat normal food. He can walk under the sun. He just also happens to crave blood so badly it hurts. So he becomes Priwen's doctor because Myrdin Wylt tells him he is destined to save London but he needs Geoffrey's help and Geoffrey needs his. He is the most powerful vampire to ever walk on Earth and he is ally to the leader of the Guard of Priwen, Geoffrey McCullum. But he's sure his friends will kill him if they ever know. So he uses his blood and shadow powers to help them fight other vampires but discreetly while also struggling with not biting Geoffrey's prat head.

ok. so i saw this panel in pg 25, chapter 39 of Witch Hat Atelier right. and was like hahaha that looks like bbc merlin and arthur. but it can't be. because this is a japanese manga that would be too much of a coincidence

but someone said that the mangaka tweeted about bbc merlin? I-

It’s kinda hilarious to me how down with murder Merlin is. Like I feel like most shows, especially family shows, have the character at least be morally conflicted about killing. If not out right refusing to kill.

Merlin does not give two shits. He murks someone in the first episode, zero conflict. His body count must be at least in the thousands by the end of the show (considering he took out a whole army). But let’s not forget all the up close and personal murders he commits.

I recently rewatched the changeling, and in that episode in quick succession he kills Grunhilda, the Sidhe and then gives Gaius a look like “do I need to do everything myself?” And gives Elena the potion. ZERO fucks given, he is so unfazed. Merlin is always down for murder. It’s so funny.

And I support him lol.
