i want to stand in the darkness of my life and curl my shaking body around the fist of my past and say - i was loved, and that mattered

but when i open the book of my life, it is always the same song about aching. the same rabid aria of flight, of fingers breaking

i was loved, and the hollow of my body remained unholy for the entirety. i was the floor of an ocean, and i strangled the light quickly

i could be loved so wide that it would break the greenhouse and kill all the plants inside. i could be loved like an explosion and still be cold

whatever is broken inside of me only wants to devour. the love just slips right off from where i can feel it, a little swirl of toothpaste

in the sink of my childhood: little white menthol fingerprints spelling out - i wish i was better. i did everything i could.

[Due to a strong dissonance with the political beliefs of (the?) primary mod of the N.arutopedia website - which I’ve been contemplating on for a while - I will in the near future move all of Masumi’s information (which includes that of the Hanako Clan and Flower Release) to a google doc. I will try my best to keep with the general formatting because I love it so much, but we’ll have to see how it translates on a google doc. Furthermore, I’ve been back to working on a post that will detail the most important components to each AU/Verse I have crafted for Masumi. 💖]

Gods are personas of the great chaotic harmony; of what was, what is, and what will be. As the nature of everything, they’re ineffable, yet man struggles passionately to understand their complexity, despite appearing in much contradiction, created by imagined constriction. As such, life blooms in ends, peace kisses war. 

Like the eye of the storm, Masumi was born; wreathed in violence that spun divorced. Her hymnal are prayers, heart’s yearning of shinobi center stage in the theater of war. By curtain call their soul’s a roar, the fire that fuels her divine.

Crying out for an end to the suffering, for themselves and the war.

Crying out for their kin to live, to grow well into their old.

Crying out for the yearning of leaving a beautiful legacy, Shared over tea as the legends are, Their lessons taught to generations to come.
