7: How would your oc react if someone hurt their partner (emotionaly or physicaly is up to you)?

You know how HARD it is to genuinely upset Radford???? Extra cruel. She hates it. And she will become violent if further provoked (something he is generally not aware of)

Contrarily, Kitty gets targetted a lot. She is sensitive by nature, and people around town are generally freaked out by her presence. Radford is ultimately not the type to want to spark further conflict. Kitty does not need him to ‘fight for her’, she needs him to be there. And he is, god is he there. Way attentive. Radford knows how she gets with loud noises, the interests that help her calm down, the places she goes to find peace of mind. And its still always her choice as to whether she wants him to be there while she cools off. He is kinder to her than she is to herself, it’s pathetic when you think of it that way. At least, to her.

17: Do they trust each other? How much then?

Radford trusts Kitty immensely, to the worry of his friends and family. Sure, he loves her. But isn’t she a little…odd? The way she chews up eyeball gummies up close to Kevin and stalks around the shadows of the morgue makes her unpopular? No matter what, Rad promises that she’s cool. Just- odd. Which…in of itself is even cooler. She’s kind under all of it. Its not that he wants to believe it, it’s that he knows. She wants to be the kind person he really thinks she is. Just to prove him right.

Kitty does not trust Radford. Or well- more accurately. She feels the need to hide in the fear that something will hurt him. She does not know what she’s hiding, or what it is that will hurt him…but she has seemingly been intent on willing that into inevitability. All she knows is that there is something so terribly wrong with her, that version of herself doesn’t deserve to meet him. He will become scared of her. They all will. Maybe that is for the best. Perhaps she should let it happen.
