Listen, I don't know if I'm being annoying by spamming your inbox with these messages but I really appreciate how well you've written codependency. As someone who's been there numerous times, the feeling is all too mirroring in the story, and you've done such a great job at portraying the behavior of two enmeshed people in a toxic situation.

So... I'm the anon that wanted to read Hopeless so badly and I just want to drop by and say:

I've finally caught up to it

My mind, heart and back is blown by the turn of events but I knew it was coming. I knew what was going to happen once he returned. 🙃 All I can say is that this is actually a really, really good fic!

I know it's not your favorite to write. But if it's any consolation, I downloaded the EPUB version of it from AO3 (which I never do for unfinished fics) just so I can annotate and highlight and SCREAM MY THOUGHTS on the notes section!

I am in awe at how relatable and realistic their individual emotions are. I can certainly relate to MC (when I was younger), and I can also understand why Ominis is the way he is, and why he feels the way he feels about her. 10/10 BEAUTIFUL narration and breakdown of their characteristics.

There's a few more chapters to go but I am willing to wait and read it over and over and over again until this piece is done. 😌

one thing about hopeless is that it is really potent with emotion. i rarely have physiological responses to the things i read, but i have felt actual physical pain in reaction to specific lines and scenes you wrote in that fic. you have a gift! it’s understandable to not be pleased with your earlier works as a writer but honestly i never would have imagined that the author felt that way as i was reading it — and i say this as someone who is very particular about what i read. i think you have a talent for drawing readers in with your voice regardless of anything else!

that is so so kind, thank you for this. it's comments like these that motivate me to finish the fic, even if i personally don't lke it.

I want to read Hopeless sooo bad 😭 but I tend to read unfinished stories for later, when they're completed. If it's not too much to ask, how many more chapters would you think this story would have? Istg I have heard nothing but good stuff from this one, and I am so tempted to just dive right in! ❤️

I'm going to be so honest, I HATE that fic lol. it was one of my first attempts at fanfic and (imo) the writing/plot is just terrible.

BUT enough people beg me to continue it to the point I don't have the heart to abandon it fully.

I think I'll be able to wrap it up at like 33-35 chapters, sooo it's reaching its end! However I will be updating rlly inconsistently, I'm sorryyyy 💔
