I’m somewhat alright, a bit stressed but I’m done with college. I was expecting to have some free time once I finished but right after I graduated I got an internship and will be moving to the other side of the world. I need to be there by August and I’ve been having start my internship online which has been taking up all of my time as well as preparing for a big move!

I’m still struggling with health issues I thought would be gone by now, just the other day I had to sacrifice a day of work to be in the ER all day so that was quite stressful too.

In my free time I’ve been writing a few things here and there, and even started a new fanfic where it’s a Black Clover Space AU. Julius is the commander and the captains are the crew members and they are traveling to a new planet to colonise since their current one was taken over by demons. The other characters are in it too, just in the crypto pods in hyper sleep until they arrive! The only reason nothing has been posted is because I need to find time to reread and make corrections etc.

Thank you again for asking and I hope you are doing alright too! I can’t wait to get back to posting more frequently soon!

Hopping on to say that I’m alive! Just extremely busy, but I only have 4 weeks of college left and then I’ll be free to make more Black Clover posts and release more fanfic chapters! Maybe even do some art too.

I’m going to be powering through some work and surpassing my limits for this semester! Good luck to everyone else too who may be in school, or have work, or just going through a hard time.

Black Clover Short Stories

By Shonen Jump (Part 2/2)

Here is the second part to my post about the highlights of book 2 and 3 of Shonen Jump’s Black Clover shorts! Check out my previous post, part 1/2 if you haven’t already!

(I’m going to say this again, but keep in mind my favourite characters are Yami, William, Marx and Julius!)

Story 4: Black Clover Julius vs Zagred

So this is one of those “What if?” Stories, where what if Julius survived the fight with Patori and fights Zagred? It starts with Marx putting up wanted posters for Julius, who has yet again slipped out of the office to go slack off and explore new magic in the Kingdom!

Julius is found and the resurrection happens and eventually it gets to the point of Zagred’s reveal. I found this part really cute since Asta got to fight alongside Julius and was super hyped about it!

Unfortunately for Julius, he could not escape his fate of death.. but don’t worry, he does come back in this version of the story as well!

This was probably one of my favourite stories, since we got to see how it would have been like if Julius had battled Zagred.

Story 5: Black Clover Virus

I want to say this is probably the creators reaction to the pandemic, a spoof of covid if you must. Basically a virus spreads throughout the Kingdom, and thankfully the Black Bulls base is extremely far from society so it hasn’t hit them yet. It’s up to them to figure out a cure, and this was probably the weirdest story out of all of them!

So what is this virus? It can spread easily, and the symptom is weirdness. It’s a virus that basically makes everyone drunk. When I tell you I was not prepared for this chapter- I mean it.

Why did they make Marx thic- what were they doing? Anyway, there were all kinds of things in this chapter, like Patori making a fool of himself. When he is cured, he cries because he embarrassed himself! This was also when William and Patori still shared a body, so William was not in it.

Patori/William are thic too? Also he is apparently doing his light whip but from his butt-

Overall I really liked the first story, and this one was weird but funny! It’s classic Japanese humour. When I get Book 1, I’ll post some stories from there too, since these stories are from hook 2 and 3!

Black Clover Short Stories

So recently I got ahold of book 2 and 3 of the Black Clover shorts collection.. and it’s super cute and funny, with some questionable things in it but that’s just Japanese humour! I thought I’d share a few highlights here with you guys!

(Keep in mind my favourite characters are Yami, William, Marx and Julius!)

Story 1: Black Clover Christmas

The Clover Kingdom celebrates Christmas, but Sally, Rades and Valtos kidnap Santa and replace all the presents with horrible prank toys. Marx immediately contacts the Black Bulls, who were the only squad available to investigate the situation!

The Black Bulls are enraged and easily take care of the issue, saving Santa and getting their presents. The cutest part? William wants to help Yami and makes the Christmas Tree!

Story 2: Black Clover Mario Cart

Julius hosts a big race between captains and magic knights (I didn’t spot Yami or William in the race unfortunately) but it’s basically a spoof of Mario Cart! Marx is obviously the announcer, and the race begins.

One of the hosts- a mysterious stranger- turns out to be a bad guy. He detains Marx and Julius and takes over the race, making it dangerous and deadly.

Julius sits back and watches out of curiosity, but when the commotion is over he easily breaks free and beats up the bad guy!

Story 3: Black Clover School AU

Exactly what the title says! This follows most of the main characters both in the Black Bulls and Golden Dawn as they begin their new school year. Their goal is to pass the school exams.. And of course, Julius is the principle of the school!

Yami is the Japanese teacher (basically English class in Japanese). Now I’m not a super fan of MHA, but it’s interesting to see Yami become a teacher like Aizawa since they both have the same voice actor, and somewhat similar vibes.

William is an environmental science teacher, which makes complete sense! Also him in a lab coat is super cute!

Hello!!! I wanted to ask you, if Yami and William is as in a relationship (romantic) then Julius let them fight. Who would win?

So like a magic battle or an argument?

I’ll do both!

For a magic battle, they would both be really playful and impressed at each other’s skills. In the end though, I think William would happily give in and Yami would win. I know William is the kind of guy that can think about the situation he is in and determine the right course of action- but in this case, maybe he gives up on purpose after seeing how determined Yami is. Since Yami is a very competitive person, and is the kind of guy that would never give up regardless of the situation. William might know this already and decide to end the fight when he gets cornered.

For an argument, it’s hard to say. On one hand, we know William’s habit of not wanting people to hate him- so he might agree with Yami and admit that he himself was in the wrong just to please him. Or he genuinely will start to feel guilt and think that his part of the argument wasn’t right. On the other hand, Yami does have a habit of getting angry easily and wanting to win, but he’s mature. He eventually comes around and admits when he’s wrong, and he’s very good at recognising people’s body language thanks to his Ki skills. He would be able to tell when William is uneasy or lying etc, but perhaps similar to the magic battle, William will give in when he feels Yami start to get worked up.

Through out the show, William presents himself very differently from how he acts. He actually has a very submissive nature (I couldn’t think of another word) judging from how he couldn’t say no to Patori, but also couldn’t say no to Julius. He feels the strong need to be approved by everyone and doesn’t want anyone to hate him which makes him lean towards that way. He also now lives with the guilt of his actions of the past, which can push down any confidence he may have. While on the outside he can appear confident, on the inside he isn’t.

I can definitely make a better one now- I always imagine him with his front bangs and then he would always have a ponytail to keep his hair out of his work.

Who is your least favourite Black Clover character and why?

I’ll go first!

Dazu from the Devil Believers arc. She’s so petty and narrow minded, and makes everything about herself while putting thousands of people in danger.

Yamis drunken adventures (No. 1?)

I know this is very random, but I have a feeling that Julius could have ADHD. There are some things he does throughout the show that hint towards it- combined with how he is in general.

🔺(This is just an opinion as someone who’s experienced it! I just recognise things here and there that are similar. This of course isn’t cannon and is just a theory!) 🔺

-> Some of the main traits being inattention, impulsivity and hyperactivity.

1. He can’t stay/sit still. He always wants to be out and about, moving around, interacting with people, doing things and having fun.

Example: Leaving his seat where seating is expected- in his workplace setting/office.

2. He has a really hard time staying focused and is easily distracted. Despite knowing that he is the Wizard King, he can’t help but have a low attention span.

Example: He struggles to follow through on instructions/duties and gets easily sidetracked.

3. He dislikes and avoids tasks that require sustained mental effort like preparing reports, completing forms or reviewing lengthy papers.

Example: He abandons all his work despite knowing its importance because it could be too much mental effort for him.

4. He has extreme impulsive moments, and has difficulty controlling himself when it comes to his passions, and even with magic.

Example: He often ends up nerding out regardless of the situation when it may not be appropriate.

5. Poor planning and time management skills (despite being a time mage) and has difficulty setting aside time for important things and deciding his priorities.

Example: He prioritises his outings rather than his work, which leads to poor planning and possibly struggling with deadlines.

I know there are more, but these ones stuck out the most! I’m just glad Marx is there to help him and keep him in check, because if Julius was alone on this things wouldn’t have turned out so great being Wizard King..
