the jaunty walk perfectly in time with the music. the tip of the hat the unaware or uncaring bystanders. the shaky camera with random zooming. the fact that this is seemingly happening in a park. this is peak media i can’t get over it

another thing i finalized for the toyhouse, the GODS

story i wrote under the cut

First there was a Star - the brightest star that ever adorned the dark void. It was full of love and wonder for what it was born into. Very quickly, it grew bored and lonely. 

And so it created the Love. 

Death it called itself, but what would the Star's name be? The Star looked at Love, with confusion. Whatever did it mean by name? 

And Pluto said, name is something for it to remember the Star by, something that it will say forever with love. And the Star decided to call itself Life.

Long they spent in each other's company, within the homely Nether. Then, Life said, it's so empty, isn't it? So it is, said Death. 

And so Life created the Hope and the Web.

What are your names, asked Death. 

Emotion, said the Hope, tipping it's hat. Fate, said the Web, giggling and chuckling and laughing it's heart out - infecting everyone around. 

Long they spent in each other's company, in Nether that grew vaster with stars and color like never before. Then, Life said, oh Fate, you can't keep making fun of us like that, we can't all play all the time for you! 

And so Life created the Infinity. 

What is your name, asked Death. 

Infinity didn't say. It walked around, deep in thought, then said slowly: Time. So Fate and Time had plenty a games to play together.

And what about me, retorted Emotion, who was left with no games to play and stories to tell. You, said Life, should write your stories, and someone special will find it worth listening to. 

And so the Eye was created, as Life watched Emotion express itself. 

Who would you be, asked Emotion in surprise. And the Eye responded, Wisdom my name would be. 

So Emotion and Wisdom wrote many stories together.

Long they spent in each other's company, in Nether that grew vaster and full with many a worlds and creatures. As Life was inspired, and all six of them had something to learn. 

Little creatures aren't too smart, said Time, with no purpose in life. Look at them running around, wasting their precious time, for Death to take it. 

But they are simply splendid, retorted Emotion, so full of excitement and desires. Look at them full of joy, before Death will take it. 

But there is no sustenance, commented Wisdom, they do not share information with each other. Look at them, selfish and foolish, no meaning at all, waiting for Death to bring it. 

But isn't it most funny and silly, chuckled Fate, isn't it ever so wonderful how unpredictable they are. Look at them, malleable, full of naivety, waiting for Death to extinguish it. 

Death said nothing, as it was it's job. Life nodded and hummed, deep in thought. 

I heard all of you, it said, and I agree.

And so the Calamity and the Triumph were created.

Chaos and Order they presented themselves, for their role in the game they were ready. 

Long they spent in each other's company, in Nether that grew oh so beautiful and bright, with many a worlds and creatures for Life's friends to play with. 

But wary grew Life, the sorrow it felt from the creatures so full of happiness before. 

Why don't they laugh as much as before, pleaded Life, why aren't they valuing what we gave them like before, it cried. 

Death looked down, guilty, for it had nothing to say. It's job was very simple. 

They will be mortal, have said Time. And it is for them to guess how to live, giggled Fate. 

They are full of so much potential, have mused Emotion. And it is for them to understand it, continued Wisdom.

They have to be just, have stated Order. 

They have to be strong, have concluded Chaos. 

So, so long they spent in each other's company, in Nether that became their body, with many a worlds and mortals for Life to grieve.

Oh, oh it is not what I wanted, cried Life bitterly. Oh, in pain, so much of them are in pain. 

Death stood silent, with nothing to say. 

I have to fix this, sobbed Life. I will start over.

So, so much effort have gone into Life's Nether, worlds and creatures so different and bright. 

But nothing of Life was left when it crushed world after world in it's trembling hands.

It was a Black Hole, darker than dark, deeper than Nether's abyss.

And so out of Life was created the Maw.

It is your doing, proclaimed Order with a sword to Chaos' chest, For our friend is now the enemy. 

Am I, said Chaos, or am I just existing? 

So was the Chaos imprisoned,

And hunt for the Maw has begun.
