What do you think Maurice’s life is like with his family?

How can something so precious be so lonely?

He’s always been waiting for someone. Day after day, he simply waits. His mother rarely comes home from work anymore. He seems to spend a lot of time outside of school alone.

He barely remembers, it’s been so long. But he can feel it. A gentle hand that stroked his hair and the gaze of kind, brown eyes.

He never cared for the color purple as a child, but nowadays, that melancholy hue is the only thing he sees. Everywhere he goes, and each time, little bursts of memory flicker and disappear.

Uhhhhhh this is just part of my personal imagination for my story/school au, so don’t take it too seriously.👍

This section has nothing to do with my headcanons, the comic, or narrative above. Just my thoughts on canon. Pre-island, I think Maurice would probably have a mother and father, nothing crazy, but I feel like he would be like,, a mamas boy or something. The men in that time were geared for war, and obviously, by the way the other boys on the island were behaving, the men were having a lot of impact on their sons’ mentalities, and a lot of the island boys showed less remorse for their actions and how they treated others either physically or verbally than Maurice. (Who seems to be more of the friendly type in the beginning.) Even Piggy and Ralph were somewhat more confrontational than Maurice at that point if I remember correctly.

Maurice notably did show a bit more restraint and guilt for bad actions at the start, so I feel like his mom would have taught him how to control himself, what’s wrong and right, how not to treat others. I feel this way because unlike Ralph, who I think has stronger principles, I don’t think canon Maurice would have the personality or strong enough will to just not immediately follow the other boys , like Roger, and be an asshole to the younger kids if he didn’t have some good influence.

So canonly speaking, I think he’s an average little boy with an average mom and dad family, maybe some siblings with some good balance. I definitely think Maurice was influenced a lot by the other boys on the island (I think Robert and Jack probably influenced him a lot, personally.) but idk. :P

Mulberry Boy my beloved🤧🤧

By the grace of god (aka no death, post rescue au) Mulberry kid!!

There’s like nothing about him in cannon despite being Henry’s cousin so he’s like 99% head cannon and au

First off I’m calling him Kenneth. I’m sorry calling him mulberry feels mean he’s a child he needs a name

Kenneth gets pretty badly burned in the fire, but Piggy knows a bit about burn recovery. There’s not much you can do on an island, not many supplies, but there is one big thing they do have: water.

It’s not great, but Piggy’s efforts at keeping his scars clean and soaking them at least kept Kenneth alive long enough.

Piggy over time, becomes sort of like an older brother to Kenneth. He cares for all the littluns (because nobody else does) but he takes extra caution with Kenneth. He feels a sad camaraderie with him when he sees him unable to play with the other kids because of health issues, so he hangs out with him to make him feel less alone.

Even after being rescued Kenneth is still heavily haunted and scared (emotionally and physically) he clings to his parents or Piggy and needs a safe person in every room or he starts crying. He needs almost round the clock medical attention, because obviously being on a dirty ass island and having a third degree burn that went somewhat untreated for a year is really bad for you. And he’s just carries a sadness and heaviness that most of the other littluns, whom were too young to grasp the severity, don’t.

He’s Guatemalan! his mom and dad immigrated to England when he was a very young boy

He’s got COPD and had it as a young boy. It’s a very rare disease for young people and makes it difficult for him to breathe

Bill also has ADHD and is failing a lot of his classes because of it. Peter is his tutor :)

Bill has a fascination with detective movies! Mostly Noir movies, but he will watch them for HOURS

Bill only joined the choir because Jack peer pressured him. He really didn’t want to join and he’s rather shy. That doesn’t stop him from making fun of Jack behind his back though

His last name Borg is Swedish! Bill’s father is Swedish and moved to Guatemala to marry his mother. Bill speaks fluent Swedish.

For a really long time, he was a choir’s token straight member. He is not straight, he is pansexual
