the booping of simon: "kill the boop, cut his boop o meter, spill his boops"
So I literally saw that one image of "the death of caesar" painting but replaced with boop paws and inmediately thought of this thing but with lotf chapter 9-
After the boops all of them were alright and went back to the huts to rest :3 (im in denial)

I should probably share the school project that launched this whole hyperfixation- cause I keep seeing people sharing their gorey Simon art and I wanna add. Enjoy!
We had to design a book cover in English class. I drew mine and I think I spent 5 hours on it in total
Also yeah, the back cover is Ralph and jack in front of a fire. I intended that to be the feast scene (right before Simon shows up)
majorly obscuring their features was meant as symbolism. Jack had face paint on, showing his connection to the hunters. Ralph didn’t, but it’s hard to tell because of the shadow. This is because it’s implied Ralph participated in/was very hypnotized by the dance. He doesn’t see himself as an outside force looking in, he believed he was a part of Simon’s death.
The scene blurred the lines of Ralph’s morals, giving a visual depiction of this feeling was something I enjoyed coming up with
