How to use heat gun nozzles?
Welcome back to my blog. I have talked a lot about heat guns in this blog, and you guys are loving it! So today I'm back with another post that will teach you how to use heat guns better. I have already talked about using heat guns for different stuff, such as using it to remove paint. As I said in my previous post, that if you are working with heat guns then you need to be careful because not only you can harm your self or others but you can also destroy or shrink sensitive objects, that may cost a lot of money to replace.
That's why to help you understand better on how you can protect other objects or how you can use heat guns for different project sizes, I will teach you guys about heat gun nozzles
What are heat gun nozzles and how to use them?
In my previous post, I have talked about removing paint from old wood such as your windows. Usually, it's hard to remove the glass from the windows, so a lot of people tend to remove paint from these windows without removing the glass. If you are not careful, and you accidentally direct the heat to the glass, then most likely the glass will break, especially if the temperature of the heat gun is 1000 degrees +. In order to protect the glass we need to use the heat gun nozzles.
Heat gun nozzles are a tool that you can attach to the heat gun so it prevents the air to flow at one side.  So, if you are using the heat gun on a window then you should use the " Glass Protector Nozzle ". What this nozzle does is that it prevent the air to go directly to the glass. Except for this nozzle, there are some other nozzles as well, different nozzles for different tasks. Some of the most used nozzles are: Main Nozzle, Glass Protector Nozzle, Reducer Nozzle, Flat Nozzle, Reflector Nozzle

How to use heat guns to remove paint?
Hi, my name is John and welcome back to my blog. We have talked a lot about heat guns, and I got a lot of emails from you guys to make some more posts about heat guns. Earlier we have talked about heat guns and their difference with hairdryers, and I have mentioned it that you can use heat guns to remove paint from old wood.
I have got a lot of emails asking me if you can use a hairdryer to remove paint from old wood? And sadly, the answer is NO! But, if you want to remove paint from an object, and you already own a heat gun, then it's your lucky day! Since today I will write a short blog post to teach you about this topic.
How can you remove paint using a heat gun?
There are a few tools that you need in order to complete this task successfully. You need a high-quality heat gun. See what I did there? I said high-quality heat gun. And the reason for that is that you need a high-quality, not a low-quality heat gun since you will be spending a lot of time, and you need a heat gun that can handle a lot of work without stopping.  Except for a heat gun, you also need a putty knife. Once you have these two tools you are ready to go.
Start by plugging in the heat gun, leave it a few seconds so it can heat properly. Once the heat reaches a certain level then you can start directing it to the object you need to remove the paint from. Always keep the heat gun at least 4 inches away from the object.  With one hand you need to hold the heat gun and direct it to the object and with the other hand you need to try to scrape the paint the object.
This will be a long or short process depending on the size of the object. But this is the only way to remove paint using a heat gun. You also need heat gun nozzles

Heat guns vs hairdryers?
Hi, welcome back to my blog. I have talked earlier about heat guns. Make sure to check my other posts too in order to know more about heat guns. If my information doesn't fit your needs, then you can check other blogs about heat guns such as thetoolgeeks, toolsfirst, carsbible, etc.
As I said earlier, the heat gun is a very powerful and useful tool to have around. You can use it for different tasks such as removing paint from walls/wood, fixing your cell phone, using it to heat different objects so you can bend it, etc. You can use it almost for everything.
Heat guns are DIY tools that are used only for DIY tasks. A lot of people tend to get confused when you tell them that the heat gun and the hairdryer are different tools. They might have the same design, but they are totally used for different tasks. Down below I will try to explain the differences between a heat gun and a hairdryer.
Learn here: How to use heat gun nozzles?
Heat gun vs hairdryer?
What makes people to mix these two tools is that they look the same and they both blow hot air.  To be honest they do almost the same job, the blow hot air, but they are used for different things. As you may know already the hairdryer is used to dry your hair faster, and the heat gun is used to shrink wrap or to remove old paint from woods. The only difference between these two tools is the temperature. The heat gun temperature range is from 300 to 1200 degrees, and the hairdryer is way below that.
You should never use a heat gun to dry your hair, but you can use the hairdryer to complete small tasks such as heating plastic or replacing your phone screen.
