Do you have any other artistic passions besides photography?

I’m a massive film nerd! And not just Live action. One of my favorite movies ever is Akira, the animation is absolutely fantastic! When ever I get the chance to see it I’m always blown away by the brilliance of the Use of Color in the movie. The way that red is used to symbolize power in all its forms is something that inspired a lot of my darker shots. It helped me realize color can be so much more purposeful in a shot.

I’ve recently been watching a lot of David Lynch (Rest In piece) and I’m in love with Twin peaks (Chloe was so excited to show me this one).

If I were to name a few directors I recommend I’d say

I decided to take some nature shots while I was visiting Queenstown, New Zealand and just… wowzer :0 I felt like I could do a series on just this one mountain alone. Although my Calves felt Dogawful when I was done with the hike. Not to mention me and Chloe almost missed the gondola back down and almost had to hike in the woods down the mountain in the dark

When we got back though she said “Max, you know how much of an adrenaline junkie I am, but that was too close to us actually getting slasher movie murdered than I think either of us wanted” and then she saw how exhausted and tired I was, and snuggled up next to me. Then she popped Out Final Fantasy The Spirits Within on her laptop and I was absolutely smitten. I don’t remember much after because I’m pretty sure I fell asleep right around the beginning but I very briefly woke up in her lap and she was invested :))))

OOOOO WELL FIRST OF ALL THANK YOU :000000 I would speak up more in class but a lot of the time, I feel like I don't have a real answer, so by the time that someone (usually victoria) answers what I was already thinking it might be, I just kinda... shrink into my chair. Now do I think I'll go digital?? probably not? people are able to do some crazy stuff with digital, but the thing about analog that really appeals to me is the tactile nature of it all. Theres a limited amount of film that I have before I have to buy more, so that makes me feel like every shot I took with it is more specially than digital.

Oh Nate and I go way back. No offense to him, but back when we were freshmen he was more of a wallflower. I really helped him come out of his shell.

As for your second question, why would I drop him? He's my best friend and we just get each other. Sounds so sappy, but it's the truth.
