Poster for my Senior Film... Now lets see how it turns out

Just updated my demo reel! ... Still a few things to fix and a lot to improve and keep learning. Now I gotta focus on my thesis film. I got a few ideas I’ve been working on but still gotta decide which one to do... tough thing :/

So this is the reference. Super fast guy really, and a very entertaining movie. Jackie Chan rocks! ... I’d love to add him to my shot as a second character in the future.

It’s been a while since I uploaded anything. Here is a shot I did for an assignment where we had to follow reference closely, yet with the freedom to exaggerate some poses creatively. I’ll upload the reference I used for this next.

So this is how my shot is looking so far. It still needs some polishing, but I’ll probably leave the rest for later since I need to keep up with my classes and assignments.

DECEPTIVE QUEST

Short, short, super short film for my 2D Production class at SCAD. Learned a lot from it and from the class.

Our fellow here is about to head into an adventure to find a very unordinary treasure, more like an ancient artifact.

So hopefully this will be the final style of this very short short film... from there we’ll see what happens for my senior film

1st Assignment for my 2D Character 1 Class at SCAD. I took advantage of this and used it to do a test on my character for the film I’m working on right now.

Quick test I did after defining the different views of the character I’ll be animating on my senior film (probably haha). Testing the light effects and the paining techniques, trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Im not used to drawing animals but i had this idea when looking at my dog so… I gave it a try… Merry christmas!

Still searching for the characters and the overall style of my senior film. Im sure it will evolve and change in time, but I think I like the way its coming so far. :D

"DAVE RIG"

This is a very basic rig done for one of my classes at SCAD. I am an animator, therefore I dont think I am going to put more time and effort into this rig. I think I have learnt what I needed by doing what you see here. You are welcome to download it for your own personal use. Also if you want to imporve it that would be great, just let me know so I can re-upload it and others can have access to it too. Thanks!
