Philippines is better off as a male, fight me!

After reading my explanation, the more I didn't understand myself sorry lol. So here is a better version of it. Again I am going to name female Philippines piri and male phil or philip.

1. The name of the country's origin

The name Philippines was named after king philip in order to honor him. Just like america (can be the whole continent or country) was named after amerigo.

2. Hima's patterns

It seems that no one has noticed this. Hima gendered countries based on its history and complexity of it. Just like Vietnam, Vietnam has many strong female leaders, same goes for taiwan, and others. Some are based off on relationships with other countries most specifically the male ones like Belarus and Ukraine.

Philippines doesn't fit that category. Especially with history and relationships with other countries. Yes, we have female heroes but they are only few and are overshadowed by the male heroes. Yes, we have female leaders but they are not as good as Vietnam's and Taiwan's (I would say they didn't help the country rise and become strong, infact the 2nd female president is by far the 2nd worst and corrupt leaders of PH).

3. How the Fandom will treat her

Filipino fans: they will treat like a literal goddess to the fact she will have all the men in hetalia by fanfic and fanart wise lol. Many will ditch alot of canon traits that hima gave piri in favor of the mary sue headcanons (like what happened to Russia in ships, but many didn't realize this until it was pointed out). Just like the CH Fandom, Philippines and his/her (mostly her) ☀️sunshine harem☀️. That harem is probably one of the reasons why I lost my love and pride for my country.

Foreign fans: they would probably hate her because she is everywhere and is basically seychelles in-game 2010s 2.0, and I don't want that to happen.

The disgusting bl fetishist: just like what happened to seychelles, they would honestly complain that "she is in the way of my otp". Honestly these people should burn in hell tbh.

4. History and relationships with other countries

Philippines's history is pretty dark and it will consist with a ton of abuse, bullying, s*xual harrasment, and r,*p*and is depending on america in every way. If Philippines where to be a girl, this will add more fuel to the fire. As hetalia doesn't shy away from r*pey and abusive subjects. Most of you asshats ship piri with those 3 or 4 abusive countries with her. The comfort women is probably one of the most sensitive topic in the ww2 Asian history. This is better off to be told in our education than entertainment.

Yeah I am not going to mention the design and personality, these are fans' interpretation of Philippines and not hima's. Hima can pull off a different looks for Philippines that is farther from our fan design, whether it be a male or a female. Just like fanmade Scotland and the unnamed redhead for the uk brothers, or fanmade Czech and canon Czech.

Yeah... most of the designs are cute and all but I don't think they represent the Philippines as a whole. I honestly think that those design only represent the land and culture. Another note is that i noticed the cross in fanmade piri's design and for me that is mostly insulting especially for the Muslim people in the Philippines. Mindanao is a Muslim majority region of the Philippines and is always overshadowed by the other 2 major regions. Not only that our but also ancestors are forced to convert to Christianity and the spanish burned most of our books that contains our culture and beliefs.

The Philippines is better off as a male, fight me!

Hello everyone, it looks like many are disappointed that the Philippines is a male.

For me, I think it’s a good idea that the Philippines would be a male rather than a female.

Here is a literal list of it.

1. The name of the country’s origins.

The country’s was named after King Philip of Spain in order to honor him. Like the name America it was named after Amerigo.

2. It will be hell if Phil is a female 

Just like most Fanon Philippines (I am going to call her Piri), Piri has been shipped into MANY countries, whether this country has relations to her or not. She is like the old game Seychelles but most people like her more than Seychelles. It is too obvious that she will be mostly portrayed as this perfect, kind Mary Sue. while the filipinoo community will love her and will be shipped with the whole world, the other foreign fans wont because she is another 2010s in game seychelles

3. She will mostly be OOC 

Again the perfect kind Mary sue, it’s really annoying ngl. Yes, Filipinos are kind, but they are not as polite as stereotypical Canadians. If anything they are loud, wild and sassy like stereotypical americans LMAO. Filipinos are well known to have the sassy attitude whether it be a male or a female. Not only that but also is VERY TOXIC to alot of things and we don’t seem to noticed it, especially gaming (intense mlbb war flashbacks). As a Filipino we have an average adult/teen mindset, but our heart is like of a child’s. 

4. Piri feels bland

IMO, if Philippines where to be “piri” her personality will feel bland. After reading all your headcanons for piri aka fanon Philippines, it all falls into the category of: “sweet, kind, sympathetic, strong boxer, mature and more”. Honestly, I feel tired seeing that kind of Philippines. It feels like a mary sue and nothing more. by looks she is always the “maria makiling” girl. Long sun-kissed flowy hair, glowing brown skin and…..that’s literally it lol.

5. IMO his personality is much more interesting as a male

This has been in my mind for the past four hours LMAO. By his appearance I can immediately tell how he is already going to act. As I describe Filipinos in #3, he is going to be SASSY AF. Taking selfies all the time doing “dalagang pilipina” poses, tries to look good even at a shitty situation like this morning (this morning there is an earthquake with over 6.5 mag, stay safe peeps). It’s not rare not to see us trying to look good at the camera despite being in a worse situation LMAO.

Though it doesn’t make him any less to not be shipped with a lot of countries, but hey atleast he won’t be shipped to the whole f-ing world.

Edit: i also want to talk about the history and toxicity if Philippines where to be a girl. If you notice hima’s patterns when making female characters, a lot of them don’t have much darker history. If they do they tend to have strong female leaders or has a history of strong and powerful female heroes/leaders. Philippines does not fit into that category. Yes, we may have 2 female presidents and was the first among asia. They……. are not good. The 1st one was only voted because we are desperate to remove the dictator and feel bad for her ((I’m ready for triggered dilawans lol)). She didn’t do much other than created PNP, remove spanish lesson in our education, name almost alot of things in their family name, sold one of the biggest electricity company in the ph and more stuff that slowly destroys the country, but hey, she has a big warm smile 😃. Don’t start with the second one, she’s the worst.

History:

Philippines’s history is pretty dark. If she where to be a girl, her history WILL contain every female abuse and only depending on america on anything. Yet you asshats mostly SHIPPED Philippines with THEM. I know that Philippines is a forgiving country but I honestly doubt that she would date them after all they’ve done lol. Being a male would be much better when it comes to forgive the nations that made him March to death, because he didn’t become a comfort woman, or witness any traumatizing experiences. I also don’t want my poor nation to suffer.
