Passion, poetry and a good laugh packed in one. Just two dorks in love. This fic is a must if you want some lemony goodness and a cute Hanabi.

Fall For Me? by Sherestia

Rated T

Your typical ‘getting back to a love interest stealing friend’ with a not so typical approach. Trust me when I say this it’s nothing like any other of its kind because Hinata is kept pretty well in her character despite her wanting to grow out of her shell. Read it, I strongly recommend it.

Sweet Dispositions by Ovidae 

Rated T

The best thing about it is that the author updates 2 to 3 chapters in one update and she’s pretty regular at it too. After a one-night stand, Hinata and Sasuke are forever linked. Now she has to leave her life behind for her child and move to the Land of Lightening with Sasuke. But what started as a mistake would soon turn into something more. A bit depressing in the beginning but trust me it gets better.

Sleeping with the Enemy by College n Curls 

Rated M

The fic has already reached 1k and for a good reason too. Not many authors can pull off a fairly lemony story without it feeling like a porn. A good plot, timely updates with significant word count to satisfy the reader in you - this story has everything you want in a fic.

Hinata is accidentally inseminated with Sasuke’s sperm. Not she’s expecting his child but the problem is they’re both content with their married lives yet feelings are starting to develop between the two. Author’s way of writing is really refreshing. A well in character post-war Sasuke. One of my personal favorites, you will truly enjoy reading it.

Sasuke and Hinata are imprisoned in a cell together but soon realize that they’re each other’s only chance at freedom. Soon feelings are involved as they give their all to protect one another.

Another arranged marriage scenario but with a different take. Very dark and angsty. The author has captured Hinata’s misery so well that it actually hurts. Try it, you won’t regret it.

The War Among Us by downtomars

Post-war sasuhina in which Madara emerged victorious. What draws me the most is the mystery of their past love. Nothing much is revealed and the little hints here and there leave you wanting more.

One of THE BEST fanfics i have ever read. This fic will affect you like none other. You’ll have the urge to bawl out your eyes when you read this because it is that sad. Hinata,s misery is captured so well that it’ll physically hurt you. The only thing I don’t like about this fic is that the author takes too long to update. But don’t be disheartened by her absence, they do show up once a year and bring a long update to make up for it.

So there's this thing

So where I’m from, we have this thing with ships. They have weird names and we always refer to them by those names as a classification.

•The Titanic These are the ships that will never be canon. Mostly like those gay ships of straight guys that every fandom has.

•The Sailboat These are the weak ships that are kinda like “I wouldn’t have a problem, per se, if this happened, but I don’t ship it hard.”

•The Fleet These are the ordinary ship. Like, you ship it more than the casual “I ship it,” but less than the battleship.

•The Battleship The strongest of the ships. It’s like the commander of everything shipping.

•The Pirate Ship These are the ships that are already canon. They destroy other non-canon ships and plunder the remains, but we still love them.

•The Submarine These are the obscure ships that we still love. Whether it’s a random pairing that nobody seems to ship or just an obscure source, maybe some book nobody seems to have ever read. But usually, these pairs are basically like two subs passing without their lights on.

•K-27 Named after a sunken Soviet sub, these are like the normal submarine, but will never be canon, and will probably sink with their nukes onboard.

These are the classifications of ships.

•Santa Maria @yuzuling pointed this out, but it’s a great addition. These are the old ships, the ones that practically everyone has forgotten, but for you, they’re basically classics, those ships you know you can always go back to.

•The Mayflower @thereonce-was-a-girl named this one. It’s a “toxic ship”. For most of us, it’s the ship that we don’t like or support. We don’t openly spread hate for people who do ship it, but for us, these are the canonical ships that tend to cause the impossibility of a Titanic rather than allowing a ship to be a fleet ship or pirate ship.

I just started watching anime this year and I've noticed there are some anime characters that are really similar to the characters in Avatar. I haven't really seen any character that is similar to Toph and Katara. I'll love to watch anime with characters that are a little similar to the ones I know from Avatar. I'm ready to take suggestions.

I watched the Titans pilot

Disclaimer: I’ve never read a TT comic or watched an episode of the cartoons. I know Dick well but not the others and the trailer looked laughably bad. Dick carries. the actor looks perfect for the role and I get that he’s a bit grim in context but I’d hope he can become the character we all know, and that the actor can do that version just as well. If it weren’t for him I wouldn’t consider watching more. The fight scene was better than expected and the violence less off-putting than when it was half the trailer; it’s excessive as part of the story. At one point he’s screaming “Rachel” and I had Batman Begins flashbacks. The Starfire actress is great at facial and eye control. I’m interested in where her plot is going, though from the little I know this doesn’t seem much like the comic character, more like she inhabited someone else. Before watching it I disliked everything about her and thought she’d be terrible but her acting impressed. It’s funny how everyone was saying she was dressed like a hooker when really she’s just rich. It’s almost like those 2 clothing styles are similar. The hair is still atrocious. The laugh at the end of her last scene really bothered me and felt ooc from the rest of her stuff in the episode. it was more something a villain would do in their origin story. It’s funny that it takes place in Detroit when Cyborg is noticeably not in it. Dick’s partner is hot.

Having seen the second episode of Titans now, I’m highly unsure of my feelings on the matter. Both Raven and Dick’s dialogue continues to be cringy and over dramatic, but I still mostly enjoy it? Was missing Starfire, but that’s alright. Dove and Hawk was weird for me. I liked them, but I also know absolutely nothing about either of them? Cute couple, but could do without the love triangle.

Hank Hall comes off like a complete dickwad, but I feel like if it actually came down to Dick Grayson leaving Rachel at Dawn’s/ Hank’s, then Hank would’ve stepped up and taken the best damn care of her that he could. Not because he’s the patron saint of orphans, but just to spite Dick and because he would’ve viewed Rachel being another victim of Dick’s dickery.

Titans 1x02 “Hawk and Dove” Review

I decided to keep up these reviews of Titans. The episode this week was also good, although no Starfire or Beastboy this week, focusing on Dick, Raven and the new heroes Hawk and Dove. But it looks like next week is going to be Starfire centric.

Hawk and Dove This ep we are introduced to two new heroes, Hawk and Dove, Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson) and Dawn Granger (Minka Kelly). I don’t know much about them in comics, but from what I’ve found.  Hawk and Dove are two heroes chosen by the mystic Lords of Chaos and Order, to receive their respective power, Hawk/Chaos and Dawn/Order. Additionally, the original Dove was Hank’s brother Don, but Dawn replaced him after his death in Crisis on Infinite Earths (the writers have stated that Don will appear in a flashback of some form in the series). Here, at least it appears, the characters aren’t mystic avatars but rather just normal nonpowered people. Just one episode in an I love them both.

Hank, I could compare to a more heroic version of Mick Rory on LoT, he’s brash, he curses, and he loves fighting. But at the same time, we see that he’s a big softie when it comes to Dawn, and this anniversary present to her melt anyone’s heart. at the same time, we see just what a toll being a hero is doing to him, with his first scene after his night on the town, is soaking in a bath, drinking, taking painkillers, and injecting himself with setoids. Hank knows he can’t be a hero much longer and you believe him when he says he just wants to retire on a farm.

Dove is also a cinnamon roll, to pure for this world. As the name suggests she’s the peacemaker and advisor to the gang, a supportive girlfriend to Hank, a good friend to Dick, and a big sister to Raven. At the same time, we see she is not someone you want to mess with in a fight, and she’s not averse to drinking a few beers at the end of the night as well. Both characters are slated to have a minor role this season, but the showrunners have stated they will have a larger role in Season 2

Dick Dick in this episode we see struggling a bit looking after Raven. He has a few adorable Dad moments, asking Raven if she wants hot cocoa or asking if her TV show is appropriate to watch, and we see his protectiveness when he absolutely refuses, when questioned by Dawn, why he doesn’t drop Raven off at Bruce’s. Dick does not want Raven to become like him. This, plus the fact that the cult after Raven is shown to be ruthless and go after anyone Dick knows, are the reasons the show seems to be giving as to why Dick just doesn’t call Batman or the JLA.

We also see what Dick has been talking about not liking what he has become. While the first episode left it up in the air if the criminals Dick beat up were killed, here, Dick clearly killed 3 guys who had Hawk and Dove hostage, brutally so as well. However, it is clear that this is not something we are supposed to just accept about Dick in the series, that he is just a brutal killer. Hawk and Dove are shocked at how brutal Dick has become since they last saw him and I feel like part of Dick’s arc this season will be toning down his violence.

Cameos in Dick’s Phone

When Dick uses his cell this ep we get a few cameos in his contact list. First of all, who does Dick call when he’s in trouble? Fuck Batman, he calls Alfred Pennyworth, who we get a few lines from. We also see the name of Donna Troy, who is also shown in a pic with Dawn, Hank, and Dick in H&D’s apartment. Other names from the comics are: Bruce Wayne, Dawn and Hank, Bridget Clancy (his superintendent), Lori Elton (ex-girlfriend), Lucius Fox, and Bonnie Linseed (another ex, that’s our Dick)

Raven Raven this ep is still struggling to come to terms with all the things going on, both with her powers, the cult after her, and seeing Dick as a big brother mentor. She sees that Dick and she have a lot in common, and is scared that Dick is pushing her away a bit. On the brighter side we find out Raven is an adorable Game of Thrones fan, which she bonds with Dawn over (“Thanks Khaleesi!”)

Summary In all this was a good emotion and character-based episode, as well as providing some good action at the end. Looking forward to next week with the Starfire centric ep.
