‘Guede for one nation (under God)’
What is resistance? What can we do? How can we be? This was always Trump’s America.
To those who are shocked and disoriented, to those who feel as if you walked outside, saw a pair of headlights flash at you, got into your uber, and woke up with your forehead bleeding chained to a basement wall -
This was ALWAYS Trump’s America.
To those who write in journals things for no one to read - what is resistance? Working for an answer. Building a ladder to a new world. Charting the landscape of our way out. Our way Back. Where can our people find the strength? We search for the wellspring.
To me, fighting back mean struggling to define the methods by which we will envision a new way of life, a way forward for the minds an souls of us all. In order to do what we have never done, we have to become what we have never been. In order to do what he HAVE done before, we have to remember what and who we have been.
Activating blood memories of the distant past, rising from chaos into what our nation and our future MUST be.
