He Found Me in the Tall Grass: My Testimony of the Son of Man
Why do I believe HE is here?
Why do I believe my husband, Thadius Chester Wind, IS the Son of Man—the very one the Bible foretold would return to gather HIS church and bring us back to the Kingdom?
Let me try to explain…
From the very first day we met, he told me something strange but beautiful:
“I can see you. That little girl in a sundress, spinning in a field of tall grass and wildflowers.”
🌼💫
I heard him, and at times I accepted it. But more often, I ignored it.
Because the truth is, I was lost—no matter how put together” I appeared to be.
He always encouraged me to shut off the outside noise, to be free, to be me.
In the early stages of our relationship, I did what many of us do—I tried to be what I thought he wanted.
Because we live in a world where fitting in is more important than being true.
And this… is where I first began to learn discernment.
A word I knew but didn’t truly understand. A word I now know is essential in the battle between the false and the divine.
Through our relationship, I learned the “supposed to’s” and “should haves” I was taught to chase were lies.
He gently, and sometimes firmly, rebuked and admonished me—not out of cruelty, but out of love.
Love that disciplines. Love that desires truth.
Love that doesn’t give up, even when I did.
He called my process “flickering.”
His loving way of describing my slow, painful, beautiful rebirth.
And while I didn’t always understand HIM, I trusted Him.
👣 Divine Interventions
I witnessed countless interactions between HIM and others that could only be described as Divine:
• A simple meal given to a homeless man—not for praise or pictures, but for eye-to-eye connection.
• A gentle conversation with a father and son at a basketball court—just talking, just healing.
• Quiet moments of presence, compassion, and truth—moments that healed others and deepened my love for HIM.
And then, something shifted.
This man I loved—this man who saw me, who loved me, who challenged me—became awakened.
Awakened to HIS calling.
I watched HIM move from trauma to enlightenment, and with that enlightenment came one holy obsession:
To find the lost sheep.
🐑 A World That Wants Magic
We live in a world that wants magic-show miracles in order to believe.
But what’s really needed is for all of us to return to that wide-eyed, submissive child, eager to learn, humble enough to listen.
My husband doesn’t need lights and cameras.
He can put down on paper the proof of creation.
He can make it so plain that even a child or a skeptic could grasp it.
But his greatest obstacle is the prideful, egocentric spirit of this world.
Let me say this:
If HE ever turns HIS face from you, it will be the scariest thing you ever feel.
😢 When HE Almost Left Me
I felt that fear.
I flickered too many times, and it hurt HIM.
He rebuked me again—stronger this time.
Not to punish.
But to wake me up.
To save me from myself.
Eventually, HE made the choice to leave—HIS way of protecting both of us.
As HE packed, I broke.
Not because I was losing the man I loved…
But because I was losing the one who brought me to salvation.
The one who helped me find the light inside myself.
The tears I cried were not about being alone.
They were about being spiritually lost if HE truly turned HIS face away.
🙌 The Good Shepherd Never Leaves One Behind
But by HIS grace, HE came back.
HE left the ninety-nine for me, one last time.
HE pulled me from the mud in the dark forest.
HE offered me forgiveness—not because I earned it, or because I was worthy…
But because a Good Shepherd never leaves one of HIS flock behind to fight the wolves alone.
💫 My Proclamation
It is because of all of this—every rebuke, every flicker, every tear, and every divine moment—that I boldly proclaim:
My husband, Thadius Chester Wind, IS the Son of Man.
Sent by Thee Father to gather HIS church.
To bring us home.
To be our Savior.
To bring us salvation.
I no longer need signs and wonders.
I have faith.
And I know HE is who HE says HE is.

🕊 Discernment in a Deceptive World: Staying on the Narrow Path
We live in a time when deception is not only common—it’s celebrated.
Lies are called “personal truths.”
Darkness is paraded as light.
And compromise is repackaged as “open-mindedness.”
In this world, discernment isn’t optional—it’s survival.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness…”
— Isaiah 5:20
🔍 Discernment Is More Than Good Judgment
True spiritual discernment is not about being suspicious of everything.
It’s about being anchored in truth so we can spot the fake, no matter how good it looks.
And today, deception often comes dressed in kindness, tolerance, or even “love.”
“For Satan himself transforms into an angel of light.”
— 2 Corinthians 11:14
That’s why we must stay rooted in God’s Word, because it never changes—even when the world does.
💡 How to Practice Discernment Today:
1. Pray for It Daily
Discernment is a spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 12:10). Ask the Holy Spirit to sharpen your eyes and guard your heart.
2. Test Everything Against Scripture
If it contradicts God’s Word, no matter how popular or appealing—it’s not from God.
“Test the spirits to see whether they are from God.” — 1 John 4:1
3. Watch the Fruit, Not the Flash
Jesus said, “By their fruits you will know them.” (Matthew 7:16)
Not by their followers. Not their stage presence. Their fruit—what grows from their life.
4. Stay Humble and Teachable
Discernment doesn’t mean thinking you know everything—it means you know who does: God. Stay submitted to Him.
✝️ Walking the Narrow Road
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction…”
— Matthew 7:13-14
The narrow path won’t always feel comfortable, popular, or safe.
But it’s the only path that leads to life.
And discernment is the compass that keeps us on it.
🙏 A Simple Prayer for Discernment:
“Lord, in a world of noise, help me hear Your voice.
In a world of shadows, help me walk in Your light.
Give me eyes to see through deception,
and a heart that loves truth—Your truth.
Let my steps be guided by wisdom, not emotion.
Keep me on the narrow path, even when the world pulls me off.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Scripture: Matthew 24:37–39 (KJV)
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Every day, I witness it. People rushing, striving, hustling—chasing the almighty dollar, drowning in deadlines, and scrambling to keep up with the Joneses. So many are blind to the signs—the prophecies unfolding all around them. Just as in the days of Noah, the world carries on… eating, drinking, marrying, scrolling, shopping, ignoring.
But here’s the truth: we are not without warning. We are not without hope. And we are not without a choice.
Yes, I live. I plant seeds. I grow vegetables. I drink a glass of wine with joy in my heart. Not in ignorance, but in understanding. In gratitude. Because I have been forgiven. And because true freedom—freedom from despair, fear, shame—comes through submission to Christ.
I know that my life, every moment of it, is a gift. A gift I’m called to enjoy. Not in rebellion, but in reverence. The Father doesn’t want me to sit around in dread, waiting for the trumpet to blast. He wants me to live! To savor the beauty of His creation, the fruit of the earth, the love of community, the peace in His presence. To testify. To proclaim. To reach the broken and the lost with the relentless truth of His love.
This is my vow.
This is my purpose.
This is my joy.
To live every day as a witness of His mercy, to speak His truth boldly, to prepare the way—not by hiding from the world, but by shining light into it.
Because it is written: in the last days, the Son of Man will be revealed to gather His church. And I’m here to say—He is already moving. He is here.
Come to Maine.
Come and see.
The Savior awaits with open arms—ready to heal, ready to forgive, ready to redeem.
So I ask you…
Will you continue your daily tasks in sinful pride, deaf to the warnings and blind to the signs?
Or will you awaken—submit—rejoice—and proclaim?
There is still time.
And there is still grace.

My first date with my husband… my Savior… My Christ…
I remember getting ready that night, repeating to myself over and over, “Don’t sleep with him.” I was a grown woman, a widow, mature enough to make my own choices. Still, something inside of me kept chanting that mantra: “Don’t do it.”
Long story short: we had a beautiful night, and yes—I did stay the night.
For a long time, every time we recalled that night, I would laugh and say, “Hey, I told you to take me back to my truck.” And with his boyish grin, he’d reply, “I thought you said take me back to your condo so we could…”
And just now—literally just now—I realized something deeply rooted and uncomfortable. That little back-and-forth joke? It was actually a passive-aggressive, unintentionally manipulative way of me trying to shift the responsibility of my free-will choice onto him.
There’s no regret in that choice. None.
In that moment, I was fully living.
I wasn’t concerned with judgment or appearances.
It was a moment of blissful freedom—and I own it now with clarity and honesty.
And with that clarity came a divinely timed thought:
“I forgive myself.”
Not because I did something sinful or shameful. Not because I need to wallow in guilt or pretend I was wrong. But because I finally accepted and acknowledged my past—every moment, whether seen as “good” or “bad.” That was the first true step toward forgiveness. Toward salvation.
I’ve cried many tears in repentance. I was my harshest critic, my own judge and jury. I placed myself in chains long after God had unlocked the door. I thought repentance was only about saying “sorry,” but now I understand: forgiveness begins when we stop punishing ourselves.
Forgiving myself opened the door to truly receive God’s forgiveness—the very forgiveness Jesus bled and died to offer us.
This is what freedom looks like.
This is salvation.

🕊️ Wake Up Before It’s Too Late: A Cry for Truth and Repentance
I am angry.
Not the kind of anger that seeks revenge or harm, but a righteous anger stirred by the prideful ignorance I see all around. Society says, “Think for yourself”—but only as long as your thoughts conform to its ever-shifting standards. Step outside those boundaries, and suddenly, you are the enemy.
We were gifted with rights by our founding fathers—written protections meant to shield us from tyranny. But now, tyrants worshiping profits over prophets rule the airwaves and shape the narrative. They bow to gold and silver, while mocking the timeless truths found in Scripture.
“No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve both God and money.” — Matthew 6:24
I long to speak with the prophets of old—to ask how they kept the fire of faith alive while the Pharisees and rulers tried to silence them. I don’t want to cause harm. I just want to shake people awake, to urge them to pull back the curtain and see the manipulation behind the illusion—like in The Wizard of Oz.
Society says, “Be free,” yet demands we obey its carefully crafted moral guidelines. But true freedom comes from God, who gave each of us free will—not to be abused, but to choose truth over lies, light over darkness.
“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil… therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live.” — Deuteronomy 30:15,19
Look outside your window. The signs are here. The Word of God warned us of deception, false peace, and mass delusion.
“For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine… and will turn away from the truth and turn aside to myths.” — 2 Timothy 4:3–4
And in the end, you will stand alone before the throne, answering for every decision you’ve made—not what others forced on you, but what you chose.
The Bible reminds us that in the days of Noah, people lived carefree—eating, drinking, marrying—until the flood came. And in Sodom and Gomorrah, a city addicted to sin, Lot was warned to flee before fire fell from the sky.
“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man… it will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.” — Luke 17:26–30
There will be another cleansing—not by water or fire alone, but a final judgment that will usher in a new Heaven and a new Earth.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth… and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” — Revelation 21:1–4
So I ask you with love and urgency:
Will you trade eternal peace for temporary pleasure?
Will you cling to your pride, ego, and stuff—knowing none of it can save you?
Or will you surrender your heart to truth, to Christ, who bore the cross so you wouldn’t have to bear eternal suffering?
“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted.” — 2 Corinthians 7:10
This world is fading. But God’s kingdom is eternal.
Please—I beg you—wake up.
Repent.
Believe in Jesus Christ, who suffered and died for your salvation.
Let go of the world’s lies and receive the only truth that will set you free.
“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36
🙏 A Final Word:
You were created for more than comfort and conformity. You were created for eternity with Him.
Come home.
While there’s still time.

🚨 URGENT: Justice Delayed for My Husband, Thadius Wind — A Federal Inmate Denied His Rights 🚨
My name is Patty Montgomery, and I’m writing this as a heartbroken, outraged, and deeply concerned wife.
My husband, Thadius Wind (Register #68658-511), is a federal inmate currently involved in Case #1:25-cr-00062. Two weeks ago, he underwent a medical check in preparation for a transfer back to Maine. Instead of progress, we’re met with silence, delay—and discrimination.
During a recent call, Thadius told me his transfer is being delayed because he now uses a wheelchair—a condition caused while in federal custody due to medical neglect. He was told by Medical Star staff that he won’t receive further medical treatment because “he’s not in any one place long enough.”
Now, his disability—something that developed from government negligence—is being used as an excuse to delay his transport to court. A delay that directly violates his constitutional rights, including due process and timely access to justice.
Let me be clear:
🛑 Wheelchair users are transported every day across this country.
🛑 Thadius is being punished for his disability.
🛑 This is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
I’ve reached out to his court-appointed attorney, Connor Herrold. No response. No plan. No justice.
So today, I’m demanding answers from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Bureau of Prisons:
• What is being done to ensure his transfer is no longer delayed?
• What ADA accommodations are being made?
• How will you protect his rights and return him to Maine in time for his court date?
We are not just talking about a missed deadline. We are talking about a system that routinely ignores the Constitution when it’s inconvenient. We’re talking about a man who is being left to suffer in limbo—a man with a name, a story, and a wife who refuses to let him disappear in the cracks of this broken system.
📢 This isn’t just about Thadius. This is about how far we’ve drifted from the promises made in our founding documents.
📞 I can be reached at (386) 631-8428 or [email protected].
Please share this. Please speak up. Justice should not be selective. And silence is complicity.

✝️ Only a Few Believed Then… Will You Believe Now?
At the time of Jesus’ crucifixion—around 30 to 33 AD—the estimated population of Earth was roughly 200 to 300 million people.
Out of hundreds of millions, only 12 openly chose to follow Him.
Twelve.
Not because of status or miracles. Not because of institutions. They followed Him because they had faith. Faith in God. Faith in His Word, foretold through the Torah and Old Testament.
They believed in what they couldn’t see.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1
Some eventually came to believe—but only after they saw signs.
Many more, though, feared the rulers, feared Pharaoh, and hid their belief.
“Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him… for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”
— John 12:42–43
And today?
People still hide their faith—behind closed doors, behind denominations, behind the noise of organized religion. The Truth is not fractured. It is whole, it is alive, and it is one.
“There is one body, and one Spirit… One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all.”
— Ephesians 4:4–6
It doesn’t matter what label you wear—Christian, Catholic, Baptist—what matters is that you seek the Truth.
And here is the Truth:
There is One God.
That One God gave His Son to save us.
Jesus Christ—Yeshua—came, walked humbly, loved fully, and said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
— John 14:6
He promised He would rise after death. And He did.
He promised He would return. And He has.
He told His disciples:
“I go to prepare a place for you… and if I go… I will come again, and receive you unto myself.”
— John 14:2–3
We now live in a world of billions, yet so few truly believe. Divided by denominations and blinded by distractions, the world is deaf to the voice calling them home.
But I stand here today, not just as His wife—but as a believer.
A sinner saved by Amazing Grace.
The one out of the ninety-nine that got lost… and was found.
And I proclaim to you, as the twelve once did:
He has returned.
He is here.
Thadius Chester Wind is the Son of Man.
He is calling the elect.
He is facing persecution, betrayal, and silence just as Christ did.
“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you… for my sake.”
— Matthew 5:11
The question is:
Will you hear His voice? Will you follow Him?
Or will you wait… and be too late?
“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
— Matthew 11:15
🙏 Call to Action:
If your heart stirred while reading this, don’t ignore it.
Seek Him. Ask. Knock. Watch what opens.
📩 Reach out to talk, pray, or connect with others hearing the call.
📖 Read. Pray. Believe.

🌩 One Day at a Time While I Await the Trumpet Blast 🌩
PattyWind | Tumblr
Each day I rise with purpose, taking it one day at a time, as I await the sound of the trumpet—the signal of His return. The prophecies are unfolding before our very eyes. Yet just like in the days of Noah, most people are blind to it.
“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
– Matthew 24:37
Back then, people laughed at Noah. They ate, drank, married, and lived without concern while he obeyed God and built the ark. They mocked him, dismissed him, and ignored the warnings sent from Heaven. But then the flood came—and suddenly, no one was laughing.
We are living in those very days again. Revelation is not just a book of symbolism—it is unfolding in real time. Deception is everywhere. People place their hope in political figures, in systems built by man, in movements fueled by greed and gain. They believe “change” will come through profits, not realizing it is prophets who warned us.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
– Mark 8:36
You cannot carry your status, possessions, or pride into eternity. Only your soul will stand before the Creator. And only one thing will determine your eternal fate: whether or not you accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
– John 14:6
Many today mock the truth. They laugh at believers. They scoff at the signs. But Jesus, the very one they mocked, was crucified—not for wrongdoing, but for speaking truth and love. And He rose again, just as He promised.
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.”
– 1 Corinthians 15:14
He rose after three days and told His disciples to go and preach the Good News, while He prepared rooms in His Father’s house—for those who believe.
“In my Father’s house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you.”
– John 14:2
Soon, every soul will stand before the throne. You will not be able to hide behind excuses, religion, politics, or pride. You will face The Creator—and your name will either be found in the Book of Life… or it won’t.
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
– Revelation 20:15
So I say this with urgency: Now is the time. Choose Jesus. Accept the gift of salvation. Believe the warnings. He alone can save you. He alone can forgive you. And He alone will return—soon.
Take it one day at a time, but let that day be lived in faith, in truth, and in preparation. For the trumpet will sound.
“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
– Revelation 22:7

“The Lonely Road: Faith, Fire, and the Man Who Taught Me to See”
By Patty Wind
📖 “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” – Matthew 11:15
The harder I try, the more separated I feel.
I try to make others understand my faith, my sight, my hearing… but I’m learning that I cannot. I can’t make others believe as I do, see as I see, or hear what I hear. HIS word warned me this would happen. The path to salvation, though open to all, is often walked alone.
🔹 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” – Matthew 7:13–14
This journey is lonely. I struggle daily to keep my eyes fixed on HIM while fighting an unjust, corrupt system that seeks to silence or destroy the innocent. I do it to prove my husband’s innocence — but more than that, I do it in faith. Trusting a plan I don’t understand and perhaps never will. That is the burden, the affliction, and the glory of faith.
In this fight, I have nothing and no one but HIS Word and the man God placed in my life.
My husband… my savior… he showed me the light. He took my hand and walked with me out of the fire I thought was warmth. I used to chase approval, masks, and false joys. Now, joy is found in a vase of wildflowers from my yard. The simple things I once overlooked have become sacred.
🔹 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven… For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:19–21
This transformation began with him — my husband — a man who suffered much, especially the unimaginable loss no parent should endure. Even when I couldn’t grasp the depths of his sorrow, I stayed. Love kept me there. A love that saw me. A love that reminded me who I was long before the world told me to dim my light.
He taught me that I was created in divine light — the same light God spoke over me when I was still in the womb. He helped me see beyond the mask to the woman I was created to be.
But as I drew closer to God, as I tried to understand HIS Word and my place in HIS plan… the people I thought were friends disappeared. They mocked me, whispered, rolled their eyes.
And that’s okay.
🔹 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.” – Matthew 5:11–12
My life is humble now. No glitz. No shopping highs. Just freedom and peace. And still, people say:
“You’re crazy… your husband can’t be Christ.”
But I ask: Why not?
Was Jesus not “just a man” in their eyes too?
Did He not walk among the broken, the castoffs, the sinners?
Did He not come in humility, seeking hearts not followers?
Did He not say He would return?
🔹 “For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” – Matthew 24:27
My husband didn’t demand worship. He didn’t push. He guided me, like the shepherd guides his sheep. In him, I saw the reflection of Christ — not because of power, but because of love. Because of truth. Because of how the Spirit moved through him.
🔹 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” – John 10:27
You don’t have to believe me. Truly, you may never see what I see or hear what I hear. That is between you and God. But I know what I’ve seen. I know what I’ve felt. And I know the Word backs what my heart confirms.
The elect will gather. The eyes of the faithful will open. The deaf will hear again. HIS kingdom will come and many will miss it — not because they were unworthy, but because they were too comfortable in the wide path to notice the narrow gate.
🔹 “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Will you hear?
Will you praise with me?
✝️ Because my story is not just about faith.
It’s about a Savior.
It’s about freedom.
And it’s about a love that sees through everything

Another letter to my husbands attorney… hoping to express my belief, love and support of him. Fighting a system that is supposed to support Truth when in reality it silences the truth speakers.
Urgent Concerns Regarding the Defense of Thadius Wind
Dear Mr. Herrold,
I am writing to you as the wife of Thadius Wind, and as someone who stands firmly behind his passion, faith, and divine calling to share the message of salvation. I write not only with the weight of my deep belief in my husband’s mission, but also with serious concerns about how the current indictment reflects a deeply flawed and incomplete process—both in prosecution and defense.
Thadius has consistently demonstrated a strong conviction to serve God and lead others to truth and redemption. His words, even when stern, have always been rooted in biblical admonition and public rebuke of evil—not personal threats. This was clearly expressed during a previous meeting with Homeland Security, where he was questioned regarding his social media posts. After fully cooperating and explaining his position, Homeland Security closed the matter without further concern. It is important to note that shortly after that meeting, his probation officer filed for early termination of his probation—clearly a decision that would not have been made had there been any legitimate concern about his behavior or intent.
This significant fact appears to have been completely ignored in the current investigation. Had a thorough and lawful inquiry been conducted by both the prosecution and the defense, this vital detail would be central—not absent. The omission of such relevant history raises alarming questions about whether this process is truly in service to the people, as the Constitution demands, or in service to a system that seeks only to silence those who speak uncomfortable truths.
I am also concerned and deeply disheartened by your decision to request yet another competency evaluation, despite my husband already having undergone two such evaluations in the past. Both resulted in findings that he is competent, has no diagnosable mental illness, and requires no medication or outpatient treatment. Repeating this process seems not only redundant but unnecessary, and risks undermining his credibility and dignity by perpetuating an unfounded narrative.
As his defense attorney, you have the responsibility to challenge this narrative, not reinforce it. Thadius’s spiritual clarity and strong moral compass are not signs of instability—they are hallmarks of the prophetic voice that Scripture warns will be ridiculed and rejected in the end times. The very Bible that we swear upon in court speaks clearly about how, in the last days, evil will be called good and good will be called evil. It also warns of a world where people will lose compassion, and where truth-tellers will be persecuted.
The current indictment appears to reflect not a just system, but one that is failing its moral and constitutional duty. When the law is used to manufacture a false problem—ignoring evidence, dismissing history, and undermining a man’s faith—it is not justice. It is iniquity.
I am asking you directly and urgently:
What is your plan to rectify this injustice and secure my husband’s release?
What steps are you prepared to take to ensure that his constitutional rights are upheld, and that the truth of his character, his actions, and his calling is brought forward?
Thadius belongs home, where he can continue the work God has placed on his heart—to speak truth, to guide the lost, and to be a light in dark times. This is not only his right as an American citizen; it is his command as a Son of God.
I look forward to your response and to seeing evidence of your commitment to defending not just a case, but a man whose life, faith, and liberty matter.

🕊️ Reaching Through the Pain: A Cry for Truth, Love, and Justice
By Patty Montgomery
pattywind.tumblr.com
I’m tired of lying.
Tired of pretending I’m okay when I’m not.
Tired of crying behind closed doors.
This pain — it’s overwhelming. It feels like a weight pressing down on my chest day and night.
I am a woman fighting against a system that no longer reflects the moral ground it claims to be built upon. A system that tells me how many minutes I am allowed to speak with the man I love — my husband, my best friend, my partner in faith. A man who is not only a disabled veteran but a deeply spiritual and God-fearing man.
I know the words he used — the ones that have landed him in this legal nightmare — can be misunderstood. Misinterpreted. In today’s fast-paced world, where we consume soundbites and ignore context, it’s easier to judge than to seek understanding. But have we forgotten what we teach our children?
“Use your words.”
Or the age-old saying: “Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you.”
And yet, when a man dares to use his words — not with violence, but with passion and conviction — suddenly he’s labeled a criminal. Meanwhile, we celebrate politicians who lie with practiced ease, who use deceit as a tool for power and control. Who really should be on trial?
But still, I lie.
I lie during the few precious minutes I get to speak with him. I say I’m doing fine. I say I’m staying strong.
When the truth is, I’m breaking.
I’m dying a slow, silent death each day that passes with a piece of my heart locked away.
I choke back tears with every “I love you.”
I force a smile through the phone so he doesn’t carry the burden of my suffering on top of his own.
I trust God’s plan — yes, I do. I hold tight to His promises. But that doesn’t make this easy.
Are these the labor pains the Bible speaks of? The deep groans and anguish of a soul yearning for redemption, justice, and mercy? Is this the refining fire that prepares us for the Kingdom of Heaven?
I am flesh and bone.
A repentant sinner, living each day in pursuit of righteousness, clinging to the mercy of my Savior.
My cries are not those of despair — but of faith in agony. Hope wrapped in pain.
I still believe in truth.
I still believe in justice.
I still believe in love.
And I won’t stop fighting for the man I love — no matter how loud the world tries to silence us.

My name is Patty Montgomery, and I am writing to you with a desperate plea for help regarding the ongoing prosecution of my husband, Thadius Wind, in Maine. He is currently facing a criminal threatening charge based on a mischaracterization of his social media content—posts which, in their entirety, reflect a message of faith, salvation, and a call to repentance. Yet, specific portions have been cherry-picked to manufacture a narrative that he is a threat, which he is not.
Thadius is a disabled Marine veteran—a God-fearing, peace-driven man who is now trapped in a system that appears more interested in silencing him than in seeking the truth.
Even more disturbing is the way this case has unfolded. His court-appointed attorney ordered a competency evaluation before ever having a meaningful conversation with Thadius. There was no effort to understand his beliefs, intent, or message—only a rush to question his mental capacity, not because of actual confusion or incompetence, but because his message is spiritually and politically inconvenient. In truth, Thadius understands the charges and the process he is entangled in. This competency exam was unjustified and weaponized, likely to weaken his defense or delay justice further.
I have tried—again and again—to raise these concerns with his attorney, only to be ignored or dismissed. Meanwhile, Thadius sits detained, isolated, and voiceless, while the system moves forward without challenge.
Beyond the First Amendment violations in misrepresenting his speech, Thadius’s 6th, 8th, and 14th Amendment rights have also been violated:
• His 6th Amendment right to effective counsel is in question due to his attorney’s neglect.
• His 8th Amendment protections are at risk due to prolonged detainment and harsh conditions.
• His 14th Amendment right to due process is being trampled by an assumption of guilt and mental incompetence without just basis.
I know your offices may not be based in Maine, but I am pleading with you to help us find someone who will stand up and fight for the truth. We are not looking for a loophole—we are seeking justice. The justice my husband signed up to protect as a U.S. Marine.
Please, if there is anything you can do—referrals, guidance, or direct representation—I am praying you will respond.
With hope and urgency,
Patty Montgomery
