Kd meals

Hi everyone, for those of you who are new or current students at King David High School, My name is Maya and I am going to be talking about KD school life, I would love you to get involved. The first topic I thought that I would talk about is the school meals. I know we have a lot to talk about here! The school has a variety of different foods from hot to colds food such as salads, sandwiches, burgers and chips. However, it can be expensive for the small portions they offer. For example, the cans of fizzy drinks are £1!! You can get it so much cheaper in Sainsburys as a diet coke,150ml, costs 35p or in Tesco a diet coke,330ml, cost 85p. Tesco is just around the corner for those new to campus. Added to this there is also a problem as there aren’t enough options for vegans to eat. If you are a vegan the only thing on offer is soup, chips and salads which clearly isn’t enough. There are good things about the school meals such as the sandwich and baguettes are also soft and full of whatever is in it. So again maybe the sandwhiches are the way to go.
