So it's my first day on the SGD and I already feel guilty. It just feels wrong to eat all the fruits and veggies without counting them because I know how many calories are in the fruits and veggies I eat. Do you really not have to count ALL fruits and veggies or are there exceptions that you should count? I'm just having trouble not feeling guilty. Help or advice would be great :)
think of it this way: yes, you can count them if you wish. but your body processes starches, proteins, fruits/veggies, and fats the same exact way. anything you take in will be broken down into glucose, and on that note it doesn't matter if you take in 100 calories in protein or 100 calories in a banana. please make sure you take in what you need <3

You have a awesome blog. Does the ABC diet really work? And do you recommend it? And also can you do a review for the skinny girl diet? thanks :)
i do not reccomend it because it is not enough calories for your body to live on and you will gain the weight bac. there should already be a sgd review but if you do that please do the healthy version!!! your body needs 1200 calories per day and under that will put your body in starvation mode and once you eat your body will store the food!
*also i will be changing this blog or deleting soon because i do not promote all of these diets since they are not healthy at all!

i am sorry! You are definitely right though! I recently began transitioning to a healthier lifestyle and i haven't really adjusted this blog but I used to try all of these diets. I am going to figure out how to change it so I dont promote eating disorders or I will delete the blog!

Skinny Girl Diet Review
This is my second time doing the Skinny Girl Diet. It is absolutely wonderful. Fruits and Veggies dont count in your intake and they are reasonable amounts starting off higher and varying all through out so you shouldnt hit a plateau! (: The first time I did it I didnt even finish. I believe I stopped with 5 or some more days and I had already lost more than 10 lbs! I absolutely love this diet and it is super effective.The first couple of days were always the hardest so I had lowered my intake to around 800 two days before and it really does help. With the SGD, because you don’t count fruits and vegetables, that is what I would have. Breakfast was normally an apple or orange, lunch a dry salad and dinner was just limitting myself so you still have family meals. If I was going to actually go to the gym and work out, I would go on the weeken days with high calorific intakes so I knew I wouldn’t pass out and have some lean meats. Other than that I still walked a mile or so for five mornings because it was typical schedule. Try staying away from strength training because it makes you want to pass out. If you do decide to do strength training I would make sure you have you minimum or 8 cups of water, probably more. With my fruit intake was probably around 600-700 most days, but without, on average I had about.. 250-300.

is the abc diet supposed to be net calories or just calories eaten? like if you go over in food but you exercise can that put you back under the limit?
It is net calories. So if you are on a 300 cal day and eat 500 cal then you can burn 200 and it would be fine!***i do not reccomend trying this diet! Please please please try to eat a healthy balanced diet and have enough calories! It is so much better for you!

Review of ABC Diet
This diet is a strict low-cal diet. It's hard but it works. It's a 50 day diet - I'm on day 42 now and I've lost 18 lbs / 8 kgs. There's nothing you can't eat as long as you don't go over the daily limit, but obviously if you only eat healthy food, you're gonna lose more weight than I have. You can also add some exercise to this diet, which of course is gonna make a bigger difference as well, but you shouldn't work out on fast days.
The idea behind this diet is to trick your metabolism by having between 0 and 500 calories daily, so that it doesn't slow down. If this really works, I can't tell you. I'm not a scientist. There's different types of food you can eat, that boosts your metabolism - you know, just to be on the safe side.
So to sum up: it's a tough diet, but if you're determined, it's totally worth it.

Follow Up To The Week Long Fast
I do NOT recommend fasting for a week! Please please please do not! I did this in October and afterwards I developed binged eating disorder! I told myself I would not binge but after not eating for a week food was constantly on my mind. I did lose 10 pounds from the fast but from 110 I am back up to 150 with all of the binging! I am still struggling now with binge eating disorder and I wish I could go back to where I was then and not have fasted because I would probably be at 100 by now but instead I am 50 pounds away! Please do not try this!

First thing is abc doesn’t fail, we fail only. If you have failed any diet, just forgive yourself. There are lots of reasons for weight gain. So in order to lose weight we have to solve those problems. I’ve been fat for last 6 years. I have lost dramatic weight three times, and gained it all...
