Okokokok so I'm kinda drunk rn but...

We were just watching a documentary about Tarantulas and hear me out.

Tarantulas were discovered in the Italian city of Taranto (they actually found a furry wolf spider and called it Tarantula but whatever).

There was this legend in Italy about a spider sting that caused an illness called Tarantism that can only be cured by DANCING. This is how we got the Tarantella. The dance that can cure the illness caused by the spider.

Now we all know that Lolth is the Spider Queen and that her daughter Eilistraee opposes her. Now, what's the main trait of Eilistraee? Dance!

One of the best known Tarantellas is literally called "The Dance" and talks about a mother and a daughter, the daughter dances under the moonlight, opposing her mother's demands and proclaiming her freedom.

I need to know if this is all a coincidence or if it was intentional, so pls if anyone knows like an article of something that mentions this lmk!
