A premise

First things off: this is in English because it just made more sense to me.

This whole thing may sound cheesy, a big romantic gesture only Ted could do, or fucking creepy. I hope to be your Dobler and not a Dahmer.

I don’t hope to be neither a Ted or a Barney, you know I always thought I resemble so much Lily, I don’t know if you will be my Marshall but for a moment I thought you were, so here I am.

Please read this while playing this song.

Step 1: admit to yourself that you still have feelings for this boy.

Step 2: choose the completely wrong moment to make a move via text message… and get shot down on purpose by receiving a “🙈“ emoji as respond.

Step 3: try to lock the door on any future you could have together, which, based on HIMYM scripts, it will drive Alex nuts.

Step 4: accordingly to HIMYM Alex goes nuts, but this is not a tv serie so it doesn’t happen, also because you didn’t lock any door.

Step 5: decide whether or not asking Max, Lotito or Loooca some help and whether or not you will make a fool of yourself by involving other people.

Step 6: decide not to, because it will be too much embarrassing for both Alex and you.

Step 7: because your friends have boundaries, they’ll know nothing about this plan and will not intervene in it.

Step 8: ask Alex out to talk to him because you need help as a friend. Invite him casually to a special place.

Due to Coronavirus outbreak’s lock down, you two cannot see each other, but since this is unbearable send Alex this post.

Step 10: Alex arrives at the place of our first date or the one of our first kiss and at this page finds the only (not so much) secret page of The Playbook… the only play you’ll ever run.

Step 11: Alex realizes this is about How I Met Your Mother and starts laughing (and/or cringing) (okay, probably this is step 0)

Step 12: hope he wants to read all this.

Step 13 : ask him if he wants to start dating each other again and eventually get back together.

Step 14: hope he says yes.
