I've been watching Mask Singer Thailand again so my current go-to playlist is just Thai music the past week.

Forgot to post this from last Wednesday. I was trying to practice "active shoulders" through my traps and pushing up the bar instead of "screwing in" my shoulder blades. Anyway the whole armpits forward kind of went side way very quickly. But that's why we practice technique with light weights. Thanks coach @tommyhighs for the help. While you are celebrating and praising many CrossFit affiliates for ending their affiliations, and CrossFit athletes for stepping away from this year Games, I would like to challenge you to consider how do these actions actually improve the lives of those impacted by Glassman's statement? Does it changed their lives in a meaningful way? Before wrapping this up as a job well done, have you reached out to any of your black athletes and friends to check-in on them? Have you asked them what you can do for them? Don't just "show" your support, actually do the "support". (at Vancouver, British Columbia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBOnMPSjopC/?igshid=q62m8vxtzsd7

I spent last week thinking a lot about what it means to accept an ally. As I watched and experienced racism happening in my own home over the past few months, it was somewhat disappointing that what triggered yet another bout of anti-racism conversation here was something that happens in somebody else's home. Are they really being an ally or is this just a trendy thing to do? Does it even have to be genuine? Does it matter as long as it moves us forward? I asked myself a lot of questions, and I still don't have any answers. But while I have our supposed allies' attentions: """ Hey white allies, now that you had your fun with BLM trend last week, how about showing some love for other racial groups too. Discrimination and violence against Asians is up in BC. An indigenous woman was murdered by police. Alberta passed a bill infringing on indigenous people's rights to their own land. Stand up for all of us, or you're not with any of us. Fighting against racism is not a trend for you to profiteering. People are literally dying. This week has been a crazy week. I moved into my new place over the weekend, and gonna be living on my own for the first time without a roommate. Scary. I am still unpacking now. Sadly not everything can be unpacked until I can go to IKEA to pick up some furnitures. Who knows when that's gonna be. Also didn't get to have much of a birthday celebration either. Between social distancing and trying to move, it's just not practical. So far so good at the new place though. Staying Home Update Part 2: The Activities Since the staying home thing, more of my friends are available to me now online than ever, and they have no excuse not to hang out with me since they aren't leaving the house to go anywhere. I picked up the classic Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3 on GoG, and a new game called Secrets of Grindea on Steam. I've since sunk many many hours into them. It's been pretty great. Playing lots of games, and hanging out with friends from the comfort of my own home, in my favorite outfit: t-shirt and underwear. Honestly, I couldn't ask for more. Staying Home Update Part 1: The Food Ever since the social distancing started, I've been home pretty much most of the time except to get some groceries, and a handful of outings. My cooking hasn't really changed though. It's just the same as usual. Maybe I eat a little bit less, and snacking a bit less just because I'm not exercising as much, and just not as hungry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ https://www.instagram.com/p/B_T72RtJJfC/?igshid=5edki8reghig
