Depression creeps on you silently at first you fight small things, but usually choose to ignore them. And as a headache you insist on saying it is temporary, it will pass, which is just another bad day. But it's not, you're stuck in that state of mind. You get used to putting on a social mask and continue to live among people, because that's what you have to do. That's what others do. However the problem does not pass, and you struggle to get up every day, and it starts getting more difficult every day. That is where you fall deeper still is where you gradually drift away from family and friends, sometimes isolating yourself completely. All satisfaction goes away. The little things that have claimed you are now unimportant, and even the simplest tasks become painful, that's where the lack of motivation begins. Why keep trying if nothing makes you happy? Everything makes you feel even worse and you find yourself trapped in a vicious circle. Suddenly you find yourself living in slow motion. The days become indistinguishable. It's just a white noise, just a weight filling your head and spilling over your body. You feel like you will never be happy again, you continue to back off and destroy relationships. You are ashamed of all that you have done, and of all that you have not done. There is a part of you that wants to do things right, a sudden wave of positivity makes you want to go out and find people, but it all goes very fast because you know it will not work anyway. Things that leave your animated friends leave you indifferent and you become aware of the immense chasm between you. Another failure is not an option so in the end you decide to be alone in your comfort zone where no one asks any questions. The low self-esteem and lack of purpose become unbearable, you finally realize that you can not continue like this and two things can happen: Either you decide to get help, or you can come to try suicide ...
