Hm, this is a seriously difficult conundrum. I do have to say that unfortunately given the circumstances, I would have to let myself, the *train, and the passengers die, to save the life of Phil Eng, who himself is worth 20 human, and 4 train lives.

My condolences go out to the family and friends of the C line. You can imagine my abject horror and surprise to witness this tragic event. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything I could do at the time because I was stopping at the Dunkin’ on the corner of Tremont and West. I will be complying with the ongoing investigation in any way I can.

The C line has been eaten by the other three remaining green lines in what is being called “a tragic repeat of the management failures of 1969” by @mbta-ur-gay. Green line trolleys have been known to attack each other, including in a recent non-fatal incident on the GLX, but with proper feeding schedules this behavior is deemed both rare and preventable by handlers.

Eyewitness @charlie-official had this to say: “oh my god theah was so much blood. I ain’t nevah seen a subway cah do that to anotha subway cah. I knew they were omnivorous but it was sorta like a hippo wheah you don’t really think about it”

@mbta-silver-line-unofficial was seen at the scene of the crime, departing Boylston station on route to Nubian. No link has been established between them and the tragic incident, yet.

Your post about Bowdoin to Chinatown Gate reminds me of once when it was cold out and I wanted to take the MBTA from World Trade Center to Aquarium but I realized I'd have to transfer 3 times (Silver to South Station, Red to DTX, Orange to State, Blue to Aquarium) and that it would be significantly faster to just suck it up and walk about a mile.

At least taking the silver line to south station would probably beat walking, but definitely not the rest of it.

Oh yeah I forgot: the silver line is even less fuckable than the orange line because it’s not even a train, it’s a bus that thinks it’s a train. Buses are not sexy.

In defense of the commuter rail, the GP40MC is a supremely beautiful woman even if she has some trouble coming in a reasonable amount of time.

Hey, we don't busshame here. Buses are very sexy. Intermodality, adaptability, lower startup capital. how do you hate on buses.
