I'm the AP anon and I only saw your response now. In my opinion it's goated because typing others is incredibly easy once you get the hang of it, and for me it provided a new understanding of sensors and feelers I was never able to get just following mbti. If you google "psychosophy subtypes" you can find a pdf where the whole system is explained (it's not the same system 1-to-1 but the AP people basically just introduced some useless additional categories). What is missing from your VLEF post is that every letter has a subtype. For example for 1V you can have strong, aggressive or result 1V and they are very different. The test result page attempts to blend all of them together to give a generic description

God what i wouldn't give to have the sheer stamina and work ethic of my next door neighbor. i promise you AP is immensely underrated

I just took the test for a little fun before I have to leave the house, and man, idk if I like this one very much. The questions seemed not detailed enough and kind of biased. Definitely it seems to criticize leading with emotions, which is not necessarily a bad thing. But anyway. It seems like the kind of test you can predict your result, or direct it to something you want. I don't know.

I got the same as you, VLEF (I'm assuming you're the ENTP person from that other ask?), which I'm assuming is a common one for ENTPs judging from the name "inquisitor" lol. But I disagree a lot with uhhhh the descriptions in general.

Idk about this one, I definitely have let people discuss my desired outcomes. In fact, I am constantly discussing possible outcomes with everyone. I have changed my mind multiple times, especially if someone brings compelling arguments. And I am not that confident in my ability to figure out my future, simply because I am aware of how often I go off the trail lol and also because a future in which I know what I want, is a future in which every other opportunity is shut down. Ugh, nightmare.

Okay, this one I can kind of agree with? I have never been called "bossy" or "preachy", but I do have Ti-Si in my brain lol. But I think "strong narrator of the past" is an exaggeration. More often than not, I'm dealing with future possible outcomes than situations I lived in the past — I can barely remember what I did yesterday, much less how I solved that one specific issue in 2015.

This one I agree with uhhh almost everything? It seems to consider that logic is only applied to shit like maths & other sciences, though. Which makes me question it a lot. I am not particularly interested in math, in fact I'm pretty bad with numbers, but if you get me talking about the way I create art, you'll see that I approach it in a logical way, not really emotional, I guess.

This is actually something I always mention when I'm talking about xxTPs. The idea that a logic-oriented mindset will make an emotionless robot is stupid. Actually, the more logic-oriented, the hardest it is to understand and deal with emotions in a healthy way. A lot of xxTPs are prone to exploding, particularly if they don't understand where you're coming from. Throwing temper tantrums and shit. I like that this AP description mentions that.

This one. I hate this one. It is partially correct. But when you read it, it always talks about emotions as if there's only the self.

The problem is, it doesn't talk at all about the emotional environment. Okay, maybe you're bad at dealing with your emotions — but what about the emotions of others? You just said I'm prone to preach advice when other tell me about their issues — so does that mean I am okay with dealing with those? Lacks clarity. Seems incomplete.

I think this one is the only one I won't nitpick. I think it is okay. As we say in my country, it doesn't smell good nor bad. I found the whole passiveness of this characteristic to be interesting. Like, "indifferent to it until brought up by others".

I am not saying it's a bad system. Hell, I haven't even read enough about it? I think I'll never read enough about anything to form a solid opinion. But anyway. I do think the test is kinda weird. The description of this specific type at least lacks clarity and sounds very biased. From the little things I read, I might be more of a VLFE? But it seems that in this type, leadership qualities are expected and I don't care to be a leader. I think the more I read it, the more I want to nitpick those descriptions. Like, I'm reviewing this post and seeing more weird shit. Not a bad system!!! I just have to question everything, this behavior is like basically 60% of my personality.
