This is a drawing for mermay, I posted it on instagram for a mermay challenge, follow me there @franz.leonov . His name is Marthy Belchant, he lives in the waters of the south atlantic patagonic coast. The time is the 1920s.

This is my OC Marthy Belchant, He is a merman from the south atlantic coast, and his species is called Helkepurah , this story is set in 1920´s

 He  was found unconcius in the patagonian beach by Oswald, a Biologist, He managed to keep him hydrated in a bathtub and cure him. He had a very big fish tank for studying corals and plats so he laid the merman there, when Marthy woke up he was in an unknown enviroment and scared, until he found a rubber duck so he calmed a little, 

Oswald was so excited to talk and get to know the strange creature..
