In case you wanted some sources.
why are people so obsessed with creating a timeline in hard-and-fast years for the riordanverse (i.e. saying that Percy was born in 1992 or that the whole HoO series takes place in, like, 2011 or something) when there are actual, genuine plot holes that upset the world-building and watsonian logic of the story?

Frigg and Njord are not siblings either in the books nor in mythology. Frigg is counted among the Ásynjur. Thanks for pointing out this error. I'll got on fixing it!
I do wish the Riordan Wiki required citations because I'm on the Frigg wiki page (you know, because) and I'm so confused.
I know Rick changes mythology to suit his story a lot (which is totally cool) but its not like Frigg is an important character in his story.
Because, apparently, Frigg and Njord are siblings.
So Frigg is a Vanir then? Since when? As far as I know, the key difference between Frigg and Freya is the fact that Frigg is an Aesir and Freya is an Vanir.
(I personally see them as two aspects of the same goddess, but Rick chose to go with the more common, "they are seperate", route).
Did anyone know if this is right (in the Riordanverse)?

How Much Everyone Contributed to the "MCGA" Tag in the Last Week
Tumblr media
Ommitted are individuals who posted exclusively about content not related to Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard (i.e. a post about Heroes of Olympus or a post about attending a pride parade).
The "Other" category is comprised of individuals who only submitted one post to the MCGA tag in the past week. Unfortunately, that includes some individuals who are often very active in the space, including Mags.
Posters whose names I know or whose names were avaliable in their bio or blog description are referenced by name here. Posters who do not have that information readily avaliable are only mentioned by their username.
Some things do need to be taken into account here. For instance, I personally was on vacation in the last week and thus posted less than usual. Deyjah posts often on the topic of the Riordanverse overall, but only submitted a few posts to the MCGA tag in the past week. BB by far receives the most asks in their inbox regarding MCGA and thus had more reason to post about it then many others.
In addition, this pie chart only examines who posted on the "MCGA" tag and not on similar tags, such as "Magnus Chase," "Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard," or "MCatGoA."
The pronoun "Me" covers both my main fandom blog, @/oh-hush-its-perfect, and my MCGA sideblog, @/mcga-resources.
This is not a ranking of any kind but was done entirely in fun so I could see who the biggest contributers were!

Just doing my job! A little reminder that if you'd like to see any other content like this, my asks are always open!
All of Alex Fierro's Canon Outfits
HAMMER OF THOR:
"Battered rose high-tops, skinny lime green corduroy pants, a pink-and-green argyle sweater-vest over a white tee, and another pink cashmere sweater wrapped around the waist like a kilt. The outfit reminded me of a jester’s motley, or the coloration of a venomous animal warning the whole world: Try me and you die."
"His wardrobe wasn’t gender specific. He wore his usual rose high-tops with skinny green jeans and a pink long-sleeved T-shirt. His hair, if anything, seemed a little longer, still green with black roots, now combed to one side in the shape of a wave."
"She was wearing pink-and-green flannel today over regular blue jeans. Her hiking boots were boringly practical, except the laces glittered pink metallic."
"Utgard-Loki had insisted we trade our regular footwear for bowling shoes—all of which were too big and Day-Glo orange and pink[...] Alex [...] seemed to like them."
"Alex’s white silk gown glowed with gold embroidery, from the tassels on her sleeves to the serpentine curls along the hem that swept her feet. A necklace of golden arcs curved at the base of her neck like an inverted rainbow. Pinned to her black-and-green ringlets was a white veil, pushed back to show her face: her two-toned eyes lined with delicate mascara, her lips colored a warm shade of red."
SHIP OF THE DEAD:
"He was wearing pink and green today, as usual, though I'd never seen this particular outfit before: lace-up leather boots, ultra-skinny rose jeans, an untucked lime dress shirt, and a checkered skinny tie as loose as a necklace. With his thick black Ray-Bans and his choppy green hair, he looked like he'd stepped off a New Wave album cover circa 1979."
"She wore green skinny jeans with a pink tank top, the front stitched in with an inappropriate hand gesture in glittery sequins. Her hair had started to grow out, the black roots making her look even more imposing, like a lion with a healthy mane."
“[A] mauve skirt hung to her knees over black leggings. Her green sleeveless top had given her no protection from the pavement… Her hair was longer than I’d ever seen it, a green ponytail sprouting from her black roots like a flame from Aegir’s hearth fire” (Thanks to @bakedbananners for this update.
"Alex Fierro stood over me— today's Alex, wearing a raincoat of such bright yellow I wondered if our ship [the Big Banana] had begun to assimilate her."
"She’d tied her yellow raincoat around her waist, revealing the plaid pink-and-green sweater-vest I thought of as her combat uniform."
"The first person to emerge from belowdecks was Alex Fierro, dressed like a 1950s greaser—her green-black hair slicked back, her white T-shirt tucked into lime-colored jeans." NOTE: she also takes back from Magnus a pair of pink-framed "Buddy Holly" sunglasses she had lent him for his trip to Alfheim.
"My friends were all dressed like me, in white wool [tunics and breeches], so we looked like a secret society of very clean monks—the Fellowship of the Bleach."
"As for Alex, she sat by an open window putting on a pair of hot-pink ski boots. Had she brought them with her? Had she tipped a servant a few kroner to find her a pair in Skadi’s supply closet? I had no idea, but she wouldn’t be skiing off to her death in bland white and gray. She wore a green fur cloak—Skadi must have skinned a few Grinches to make it—over her mauve jeans and green-and-pink sweater vest. To top off the look, she wore an Amelia Earhart–style aviator’s cap with her pink sunglasses."
A checkered "a cuadros" chainmail sweater-vest, which she herself made with Blitz's instruction (pg. 385-386).
A day later: "Alex leaned against the door frame, his arms crossed over his chain mail sweater vest, his pink glasses low on his nose." (pg. 404).

I feel like the RR fandom kinda ignores how often Riordan uses the “woman in the refrigerator” trope in terms of character’s mothers? Especially to progress the development of male protagonists? And all of the moms are basically interchangable and have little personality of their own?

Scars/Tattoos on the MCGA Characters
MAGNUS
In life, he had a scar on his palm from a time when his mother's boyfriend tried to teach him how to gut an animal. This scar is gone upon coming to Vahalla.
BLITZEN
Magnus describes his nose as lightning-bolt shaped due to having been broken so many times.
ALEX
She has a tattoo of the Urnes Snakes on the back of her neck, representing her reclaiming the symbol.
One of her eyes is amber and the other is brown. This condition is called heterochromia, and it can be genetic or it can be the result of some trauma to the head or eye.
T.J.
He has a scar from where a minié ball hit him during life on his neck. It is never specified exactly where on his neck the scar is.
After the fight with Hrugnir, he sports a shard of the giant's stone flesh above his right eyebrow. It is said to give him a permanent look of surprise.
HALFBORN
Has an array of tattoos across his chest and arms, which are referred to as "serpentine."
