Installed Minecraft Bedrock server on Pi 4 - How do I get it to work?
Posted: Thu Sep 08, 2022 4:09 pm by SmokinDeist I have a Pi4 8GB model. I thought I'd attempt to set up and run an Minecraft server. Since it is more open to more platforms, I looked at a Bedrock server that was available here: https://jamesachambers.com/legendary-mi ... ontainer/ . I performed a clean installation of the most recent 64-Bit Pi OS and updated it. I then followed the install directions for Docker and then the server software.
Everything appears to be installed properly however I am uncertain of what to do next. I received a short message regarding port forwarding on my router. I understood the concept, but I needed more information on which ports to forward. (I used the default port configuration that is on the page.
But I am also at a point of not knowing how to connect to the server and start things up. I am working with an extremely fast 128GB SD card which might not be optimal but it's what I have for the moment. Docker is also new to me.
I'd like to test it to test its performance and I do have my Pi overclocked. irc101 (It does have heat sinks and fans for cooling.) I'll be using my Windows 10 bedrock Ed.
