Event Logistics + Mod Applications

Hello people! I am getting back to working on this and I think the timeline will have to be pushed, as September is looming and I'm considering making this event a little bigger, if possible. My ideal, which is definitely unattainable this year but could be a future goal, would be to create an MCYT Bisexual Zine, wherein a bunch of different fanwork creators make different works all along the theme of bisexuality and we put it together into something really cool and special. However, I doubt that's going to happen this year, as it would take an enormous amount of planning and might be better suited for people with more big event experience. If anyone would be interested in planning a general MCYT Queer Zine, I would be very down to help out with something like that in the future, so if that sparks inspiration in anyone, please run with it and let me know.

For this event in this time frame, it's still likely going to be something like a gift exchange, a fest, or a flashbang. I have yet to decide, which is part of why I'd like to get some help on the mod side of things! not yet! unfortunately i had a family medical emergency come up so the timeline will likely be pushed a bit as i can't work on things much right now. i'll update once i can figure out logistics and start working on the event again, but mod apps are still open in case anyone's interested in helping out.

I'll add that in the future I would love to find a good alternative for using Discord for events like this but I think that would require a lot more people to have said alternative, which isn't going to happen within the time frame of this event.

Is discord a requirement for being a mod?

As much as I hate Discord, unfortunately, yes, Discord is a requirement. It's the easiest way to contact people and coordinate events like this at the moment so it's a necessary evil. Discord will also be required for participating in the event, although similar to the QSMP Femslash fest, I'll create a bingo card of prompts or something similar for anyone who wants to participate off Discord/more casually.

I didn't say it was about bisexuals and only for bisexuals, just that bisexual MCYT fans would be most likely to be excited about it. So long as you want to create works about bisexuality in MCYT, you can join!
