In your sign-up, you can just say “I’m open to receiving an NSFW gift!” As for offers, unfortunately there’s not really a way for us to guarantee that you’ll be matched with someone requesting NSFW. We ask that you be open to potentially creating and receiving safe-for-work gifts as well!

MCYT QPR August is an open for all prompts event centered around platonic relationships, specifically within MCYT fandoms.

We welcome all forms of creations - writing, art, gifs, moodboards, playlists, songs, etc! If you want to create it, it counts!

1. Due to the fact that most of the mods are minors, NSFW creations will not be reblogged and won't be added to the ao3 collection. NSFW refers specifically to smut and sexual content, while topics such as underage drinking/drinking in general, smoking, RPF, etc are allowed however will only be reblogged by two of our mods, so we might miss some things.

2. Adding onto the previous rule, even though there's literally no way to stop people from creating fics containing incest, underage relationships (specifically, minor/adult), and rape, we kindly ask that you do not tag us in such works or tie this event to it in any way.

3. AI generated content is strictly prohibited.

4. Participants who are joining the discord server or posting on ao3 must be over 13 and follow their respective TOS.

You’ll need an Ao3 account, and then to navigate to the exchange collection and click the sign-up tab. Then you’ll fill out the form with the type of gift you’d like to receive — fandom, relationship, gift type (art or fic), and any additional info in the text box, such as prompts, likes, and DNW (do not want). You’ll also fill out what type of gift you’d like to make for someone else, with the same parameters. Then you just submit the form, and you’re done!

If you have any specific questions on the process, feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to explain in more detail.

part of me wants to sign up, but I worry that no one would be able to fulfill my request since my fandom is choice is kinda niche nowadays, so what would happen if there ended up being a person who couldn't be paired with anyone?

If you are unable to be matched at the time of sign-ups because you’re not offering to create a gift that anyone has requested, we’ll talk to you about potentially adding more offers to your sign-up to become matchable. are you allowed to nominate stuff without joining the event?

We would prefer that nominations are only tags you intend to either request or offer in your own sign-ups, but if you’re planning to participate as a pinch hitter and want to put your favorite guy in there just in case, that’s also welcome!

For characters in multiple series should we try to avoid nominating them in multiple series? Or is it encluraged for clarity of setting/lore? (Like if tango is alread in life series should we avoid submitting a hermit tag also)

You should nominate the character in every series that you’d like to request! If you request Solo: TangoTek (Life Series), your gifter will take that to mean they should fill a Life Series gift for you, so if you’d like to receive a Hermitcraft-based gift, you should definitely nominate Solo: TangoTek (Hermitcraft) as well.

Do we have to join the discord to participate?

Joining the Discord is not required, no! If the mods need to contact you and you are not in the server, we will do so via the email associated with the Ao3 account you used to sign up.
