Hey this might be a silly question, but the claims aren’t secret are they? I was going to post on Bluesky with a link to the art I claimed (because I can finally start the fic now!) but then wondered if that was ok. I assume so since it’s not like an exchange or anything but since the claimers aren’t listed on the posts it made me wonder. Thanks!

While Song_of_Storms does not seem to have an active SM currently, I def hope you will give their fic/series some love!!

This was such a good series, I highly highly recommend, especially if you are a fan of Poe and The Raven [which i am]... this illustration has been dogging me, as this was the fourth iteration... (and I am still not 100% on it, but also still love it)

Hello! Would podficcing or ficbinding (making a handbound physical book of a work of fanfiction) qualify as a type of fanwork for the rewind project? Or are they too direct of adaptations for the sort of thing you're looking for?

This is an excellent question and I absolutely think podficcing would qualify.

Only thing to note is we're trying to avoid any form of writing more fic for fic.

So podficcing the fic exactly as is would qualify, as would writing a script for a podfic in response to a piece of art or fanvid.

But writing a prequel for an existing fic and then podficcing it would not.

I think bookbinding is wonderful and would love to see more, but I would recommend that if you're interested in doing that for an author's work you work with them directly <3
