Su Minshan had almost not believed that they had really made it when the port came into view, characteristic noises of the water splashing against ships, shouted commands and stomping of ox hooves mulled by the thick, early morning fog.” Su Minshan and Jin Guangyao only just made it onto the ship to Dongying. The following days Su Minshan tends to Jin Guangyao’s injuries. And there is only one bed.
