it makes me insanely mad how acosf deals with rage when it comes to nesta because yes she’s angry about a lot of things all the time. she lashes out bc of it and you can’t just try to separate her from her trauma because her trauma affects her actions (and more specifically her reactions)
but because she is constantly angry, people usually just ignore when she is justified in that anger and it happens all the time
she was absolutely right in being angry at people hiding things from her, specially when one of those people clearly wants to use her and her sisters as political weapons to make other courts bow down to the night court. but because nesta is nesta and she’s not redeemable enough, people just focus on her failed attempt to make feyre understand that they were lying to her too and they were on the same boat rather than focusing on the lie itself

How I like the think the Spring Court reacted to Feyre's letter
Lucien: *Staring at it for an unknown amount of time* "Hey Tam? Can you read this?"
Tamlin: *Takes letter*
Tamlin: *Stares at letter*
Tamlin: *Flips letter*
Tamlin: *Reflips letter*
Tamlin: "What is this?"
Lucien: "I don't know."
Ianthe: *Snatches letter*
Ianthe: *Stares at letter*
Ianthe: *Flips letter*
Ianthe: *Reflips letter*
Ianthe: "This is mockery."
Jurian: *Snatches letter*
Jurian: *Stares at letter*
Jurian: "Yeah this is mockery, you should go to war."
Lucien: "Absolutely no-"
Tamlin: "Maybe not *war*-"
Jurian: "You should DEFINTELY go into battle."
Ianthe: "Yeah war works."
Lucien: "NO-"
The twins: "War would solve all of your problems, 100%"
Tamlin: "Maybe..."
Lucien: "NOBODY IS GOING TO WAR, FUCK IT ILL GO"

𝓔𝓶𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓮 𝓦𝓮𝓮𝓴 𝓓𝓪𝔂 3: 𝓕𝓾𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮
“I came to training because I knew he’d have forbidden it. I came to training to get his voice out of my head. And to know how to stop a male if one ever puts another hand on me again. But none of it will ever bring my mother back, or the fact that I hid while my father took out his rage upon her. Nothing will ever make that right. But this mountain …” Emerie pointed to the small dirt path at the base of the peak. “I’ll climb it for my mother. For her, I’ll face the Breaking and go as far as I can.” -A Court of Silver Flames Chapter 68
Emerie’s future is full of possibilities as she accomplished so much for herself in such a short time. She’s a successful business woman with her shop, winning the Blood Rite, and becoming one of the first Valkyries in more than centuries ago. We have a lot to look forward to as her story is not finish yet.
@norabraveseeker and I would like to thank @mysleepyblue for this beautiful artwork of Emerie. She brought our ideas to life and created such a magnificent piece. Look at that wingspan!!! 😍

Omg they literally give
✨ YOU'RE IN THE WIND, I'M IN THE WATER
NOBODY'S SON, NOBODY'S DAUGHTER ✨
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Gwynriel is the most dynamic, balanced, and narratively exciting option for Azriel.
The Valkyrie-Priestess-Shadowsinger Parallel, The contrast between light and shadow is poetic,
Their dynamic has banter, tension, and intrigue, Gwynriel simmers with organic chemistry.
A romance between a warrior-priestess and the spymaster of the Night Court? That’s fresh, unpredictable, and full of possibilities. Gwyn’s mysterious lineage (possibly connected to the Autumn Court or even the Dusk Court) and Azriel’s own unexplored backstory. Has the best potential and intrigue.
it’s about who challenges him, matches him, and brings out his best self. And how that is all reciprocated for Gwyn as well. And honestly? We deserve a slow-burn romance where both characters actually talk and grow together. Gwynriel delivers that.

Do you think that sometimes Eris thinks his mother hates him?
For his bloodline, for being Beron’s son. That sometimes he envies Lucien so damn much it hurts. He loves his brother, loves him very much. But sometimes, a very ugly part of him wishes to have what Lucien has.
Eris would think Lucien is their mother’s favorite son. Of course she would say there were no favorites. But he would still think that. He would look at his brother’s eyes, how he glowed, how he smiled, and see Helion. He would see love. The result of pure, genuine love.
And then he would turn to the mirror and see something ugly. Something cruel, monstrous, vile.
He is a living reminder of centuries of abuse. He was their start. Eris loathes himself for that.
Beron would know that too. He would say that as both praise and cold jab at dinners, making comments how Eris reminds him of himself. Beron would say that in front of LoA on purpose. And hours later, Eris would stare at the mirror trying to convince himself he is not Beron.
Eris would envy shapeshifting magic. He would want to change his face, form, and body. To something else entirely.
Once Eris becomes a High Lord, he would spend more time in beast form just to never see himself in the mirror.
LoA would break into tears once she finds out how he thought of himself. She would put her hands on his cheeks and cry, calling him her precious beautiful boy. Eris wouldn’t cry. But he would start a very slow path of healing. To accept his appearance.
Sometimes, he would still think how much pain he brought to his mother. How his decision of asking Tamlin for help cost her lives of three sons. Eris was at fault. Sometimes, he would think how his methods, calculated and coldly measured, reminded her and his brothers of Beron. Sometimes, he would think how his mother would never look at Lucien and think of Beron. Never. Eris always wanted the same.
Sometimes, Eris would think they all fear him. And that were the worst nights when he thought of that. Because he had no idea how to fix it. How to fix himself.
Eris thought he was unlovable and that was his price.

Nesta is a Kingslayer, a Queenslayer, and a Godkiller all in one.
She's the biggest baddest bitch in Prythian.

It doesn't event matter if it was truly Feyre's doing or if it was Tamlin's fault for the fall of Spring.
Feyre even having THE INTENTION of leading the court to downfall, either by her own hands or through Tamlin, is awful and shows us that the Feyre we knew was gone. The Feyre we knew fought and had empathy for strangers
It doesn't matter if it was her fault or not, having the intention is bad enough and most of the fandom completely misses that point

"I was a wolf. And I bit when cornered"
I understand everyone going insane and thinking this is about Tamlin. BUT this might actually be Feylin!
So people think it's about Tamlin because he's currently living in his beast form that represents a wolf (in part, I don't even think Tamlin's beast reminds of a wolf). And the book in exhibition is BOOK 1 opened on CALANMAI, etc.
I still believe this is about Feyre. This quote literally belongs to Feyre in ACOMAF (I think). Feyre was associated with wolves before any other character. Feyre "bit" Tamlin because she, literally, felt cornered and soffucated at Spring. It represents her "revenge", her anger. It's also kinda delulu how SJM wrote a quote that actually exists and already belongs to a character but people are all finding the craziest ways to connect it to other characters
Now, Sandy's Book Corner (which I believe is the place with the exhibition), posted on Instagram a photo of the signed book with "Something is coming. And no, it's not just another Starfall" NOT ANOTHER STARFALL. THE BOOK WAS OPEN ON CALANMAI PAGE.
I THINK WE ARE FINALLY LEAVING THE NIGHT COURT.
I THINK THIS BOOK MIGHT ACTUALLY BE ABOUT FEYRE AND TAMLIN!!
(I don't think it's anything romantic btw. But I think Feyre and Tamlin might confront each other again about everything that happened between them. And this makes sense if SJM truly is going down the route of officially making Rhysand villain-ish again)

I cannot believe Cassian and Azriel landing on the ice won over the freaking Valkyries winning the rite. What is even that scene? When they rescued Feyre and Lucien against the Vanserras?
That's it.
THIS. FANDOM. HATES. WOMEN!
A group of girls with a history of abuse went against their own fears and societal expections to learn how to fight and revive a tradition related to women empowerment. They were thrown into the most misogynistic competition there is and THEY WON when barely no one makes it to the top. Not only did they win but they won together, they won as friends, as Valkyries, as young women who had been abused.
Then this fandom votes for two muscles men with bat wings landing on some ice. Genuinely fuck y'all. I'm so tired of the misogyny in this fandom and overall the hate with ANYTHING related to Nesta. I bet that if it was Feyre reviving the Valkyries and winning the rite it would've won (or maybe it wouldn't cuz this fandom really hates women).

Feyre freeing Prythian was out of luck.
This is not downplaying her role in the grand schemes but she is not as smart as everyone glorifies her for this either. Without her breaking the curse, Amarantha would still be alive and the rest of them would still be her slaves. True, but Feyre barely managed it out of sheer luck.
Feyre didn’t confess her love for Tamlin and she was in no hurry to do so even if she wasn’t sent away. She had already lost her chance to break the curse.
She returned to Spring when she realised Tamlin could be in danger. Was she brave and noble? Yes.
The only reason she wasn’t killed right away was Amarantha underestimated a mortal. She wanted to make a spectacle of Feyre in order to break Tamlin.
Feyre didn’t lure the fae or trick her into the bargain. It was luck that she was still standing to be able to accept one. Amarantha could have tortured her and murdered her like she did with Clare Beddor.
The first task’s credit goes to Feyre. It was all her skills. She was quick on her feet and very practical—those were her true strengths as a hunter. However, if not for the bargain with Rhysand, she would have died from the infections and fever.
The second task, she scraped by. Without Rhysand’s help, she would have failed and Lucien would have died with her. Feyre basically cheated.
Her nosiness really paid off in the third trial. It showed how observational she is. Not to mention, Tamlin encouraged her to complete the task which almost played into her final decision. Ultimately, she did it because she had come too far to back away. It wasn’t to save anyone, she just wanted the trials to end.
That should have ended the curse, right? But Amarantha still killed her.
It proves Feyre literally had no power or stance in all this. She was basically a hamster on a wheel entertaining Amarantha.
That’s twice Feyre failed to break the curse, until she found the answer to the riddle. If Rhysand hadn’t drugged her every night and fried her brain, she might have found it sooner. (Still I’m judging her because the riddle was too damn easy)
That’s thrice Feyre almost died and once she actually died.
Breaking the curse was a joint effort—Feyre, Lucien, Rhysand, Tamlin, even Lady of Autumn if you count her help—though Feyre becomes the face of the mission. She earns the title Cursebreaker out of respect for her sacrifice and courage, which is true and worthy after everything she endured.
But stop painting the narrative as if she did it all by herself. Feyre was the only one who could break the curse because she was the only one allowed to even try.
None from UtM could do it because they were powerless and helpless. (And the ones with their mighty powers intact and basically superheroes of Prythian were safely locked away in Velaris)
Others tried and their efforts resulted in instant deaths. Winter Children massacre was a punishment for trying. The murders of High Lords of Day and Summer were punishments for trying.
While Feyre had THREE chances to get it right—confess her love, complete the three trials, solve a riddle.
And she took every one of them because she wanted a life with Tamlin. It had nothing to do with Prythian.
Feyre has many skills, most of them for extreme survivalism. Except for the first task, rarely anything confirms or warrants her to be crowned as the ‘smartest FMC ever’.
And she keeps proving that she is not throughout the rest of the series. Telling every little detail about her mortal sisters to a fae? Taking three predators directly to her sisters' home instead of a neutral ground? Destroying the one court standing between the Wall and their enemy with a war looming over their heads? Attacking and threatening the High Lords she wants to ally with? Making a death pact with her mate and then deciding to have a child? Bargaining with a creature and a death god she could never control?
Give her credit where it’s due. But Feyre is not that intelligent and one event does not negate all of her other stupidity.

All this emphasis is put in Nesta's ungratefulness towards Feyre, during their years in the cabin, like everyone else is just so full of gratitude.
Feyre is so full of gratitude towards Lucien, for his help UTM,that she condemned him, because he was too late when she was injured, forgetting that he was tortured for helping her. She's so grateful towards his mother, who helped her as well that she's not sorry in the slightest when she burns her.
Cassian is so grateful towards Nesta, who saved his life and shielded him with her body that he calls her unlovable in her depressed state, because she rejects his gift and advances. He laughs at her when she falls down their stairs and takes her on a punishment hike, never remembering that if it wasn't for Nesta he would be dead.
Rhysand shows so much gratitude for the people who saved his,his mate's and his son's life that he abuses horribly both Tamlin and Nesta ,who in Hofas is not even sure that she's not going to get executed by the man she saved.
Yes,it is clear that Nesta is the ungrateful bitch, while everyone else is flawless in this regard.

booktok/romantasy books are like: Man BIG STRONG BIG BIG BIG sexually AGGRESSIVE and POSSESSIVE and ACTIVE, woman small small teeny tiny itty bitty virginal and passive, but she says one sarcastic thing so she ‘takes no shit’ and if you point this out or suggest perhaps it is not very good, you're an internalized misogynist and a traitor to your sisters
