Okay, are you stalking me? || Part 2: Unexpected Outcomes

"In the elvator, you mean?", she asked, certain playfulness to her tone. It was a good thing he couldn't see the smirk on her face though. "Gee, I wouldn't know. What could I be doing in an elevator?"

"I don't need a smart ass reply from you. I meant the building of course. Why are you in my building?" He asked rolling his eyes. Who was this woman and why was she so frustrating.

"Well, uscks to be you in that case because I supply only smart replies." Of course, since he had informed her it was his building, she had pretty much given up for the job by now. "Can't I be in your building? Because I did assume it was publicly accessible."

"Well it is, I just don't see what someone like you could be doing here." He replied. "So I'm assuming you know who I am now, if you didn't before?"

"Ryan Mitchell", she said matter-of-factly. Truly, if he expected to impress her with just a name, he had clearly gone to the wrong girl. "But do enlighten me what is "someone like me" supposed to be doing in your views?"

"Oh so you do know who I am. I'm glad that my name is still visibly out there." he said with a nod of his head. He was proud of his stature in society and he would sacrifice everything to keep his spot. "Oh, I don't know working for someone like me? But not me of course."

"Visible is one way to put it." The smugness in her tone was evident but it wasn't her fault he had a shady reputation, was it? "Well, maybe in order to work for someone like you, one needs to get a job first." However, as soon as she had said it, she realized how desperate it sounded and replied. "Not here, of course, definitely not here."

"Oh so you don't have a job?" he asked raising an eyebrow. "Is that what you are here for? A job interview?"

"No, I don't but fear not, I'm not even going to attend it in the light of the last events", she replied, mentally cursing herself for letting this one slip.

"How desperately do you need this job?" He asked wanting to slap himself for even asking. But she seemed desperate and he had the urge to help her.

"What makes you think I'm desperate?", she asked. He was clearly going to toy with her now. Great. Just great.

"I don't know, just a vibe I got." He said with a shrug. "So are you?"

"Oh so I have a hidden desperate apeal about me, hmm? Sorry, but I cannot be your damsel in distress. Distress I can do but damseling - no, sir", she said in deadpan tone.

"Oh why not? I rather like damsels in distress-sometimes that is."

"You like to play the hero, huh? Bet you've got a suit of shining armor in your office just in case."

"Of course I am. I'm a man in shining armor all day everyday."

She pictured it for a moment and let out a tiny laugh. "Gee, and I wouldn't have know. But do tell, where's your white stallion, eh?"

"Sorry I left that at home." He said with a chuckle. She was sassy and he liked yhaf

"How very disappointing of you!", she exclaimed, laughing a bit. "I would've liked a knight in shining armor today. Maybe I could've even done some damsel in distress for him."

"Hmm I'm still a knight in shining armor even without my white stallion."

"It's not the same", she said in mock disappointment, shaking her head a bit. "Now, if you had a stallion, it would've been a whole new ball game..."

"Obsessed with horses or something?" He asked walking closer to her

"Nope. Just saying it's an indelible element of any knight's attire." Her tone was joking and for some reason she felt more compelled to this guy than a few minutes a go.

"Oh is it? Maybe I should just ride in on a white stallion next time I run into you."

She giggled a bit at the idea and nodded "Now, that's an offer I can't refuse."

"I'll remember that for next time." He said as felt the lights turn on again. "I think they are fixing it right now."

"So your... ahem, "deal" is working out. Good." Uncharacteristicaly simple answer of her and equally mild too.

"I mean unless you want to be here for eternity, I would say it's a pretty good deal."

"For you, surely", she said just as the elevator started moving again. She looked at her watch. "Fourteen minutes. You lose."

"Technically I won since I won't be late for my meeting." He said as it went up all the way to the top floor, his floor. "Hey, where exactly in my building are you going to?"

"Whichever way floats your boat", she said simply with a small shrug. He was kind of right this one time. "The exit. But don't worry, I don't mind riding all the way down."

"So did you just come up here, get stuck in the elevator and then just exit again? What's the point of that?" he asked incredulous that seemed stupid to him.

"Well, as a matter of fact, I had a reason to come but getting stuck in the elevator made me late and besides, I realized I've got better chance to get accepted into Mission Mars or something like that." The facts were brutally simple and so she casually acepted them. It wasn't like it was extremely dramatic to her - refusal was something she was used to.

"Well who was your interview with?" he asked after a moment. She would be late yes, but people listened to Ryan. He could get her an interview, if he really wanted to.

"You can't seriously expect me to rat the person out so that they can be blamed for an elevator situation." She looked at him utterly confused for his benevolence. What was his game this time?

"I'm not going to fire her. I 'm just going to explain to her why you are late." He said with a roll of his eyes. Honestly woman, he wasn't a monster-okay a complete monster.

"In a way that will make her hire me even if she doesn't want to", she said, shaking her head. "You see, it's very kind of you to offer but it's not like I'm so desperate for a job. I want one that I can get via my own skills, not because somebody stood up for me."

"Very welll then, suit yourself." He said with a shrug as the elevator landed on his floor. "I wish you luck in your job search."

"Best of luck on your meeting", she said with a small smile and a wave as he walked out. Oh well, another day, another refusal. No biggie.

He marched into his office and paged the head of human resources. "Meet me in my office in 30." He finished his meeting and waited for Amanda to arrive. "Let me see the schedule you had for interviews today." He scanned the list and saw the one for two. Stephanie Williams that must have been her name.

Stephanie patiently traveled to the lobby and quickly made an exit. She didn't have a car - simply couldn't afford it but at least walking was good exercise. A good ten minutes later, she was passing by a window of a cake house when she saw the image of a chocolate marvel and decided to at least try to feel alittle bit better using it. And just when she had finished her treat, payed and walked out of the door, her phone rang. "Stephanie Williams, hello", she answered, seeing as it was an unknow number. Maybe she had landed that McDonald's place after all.

"Hi Stephanie this is Ryan. We were stuck in the elevator together, earlier." It was almost funny to him that he was calling her. If you still want a job, we actually have an opening for a personal assistant up on the top floor with me. Would you be interested?"

"Ryan Mitchell, how could anyone forget your publicly visible name?", she said, not managing to fight back a smile. It was kind of funny to get a call from him. He was a big shot or something along those lines. "As a personal assistant of yours?" She was surely not hering right. Ths guy would never ever call her personally to offer a job. No way in Hell.

"Yes, I was just informed that my current pa is pregnant as thus is unable to come with me on trips." He traveled a lot for his job and he needed a personal assistant to come with him. "So what do you say?"

Once again a refusal, Stephanie sighed, walking out of a job interview. It wasn’t her fault she didn’t have the money for a degree. In fact, she would’ve had if it hadn’t been for that mobster who framed her dad. The woman ran a hand through her hair in frustration thinking about how unfair life was. Of course, caught up in her thoughts, she didn’t notice a car speeding towards her. However, the horn brought her to her senses and she managed to dodge the car by a neck. “What is wrong with you?!”, she shouted, finally finding something to attach her anger onto.

Future(Maybe AU) Moodboard of Athena after the Royals breakup

Athena Carrow’s mood board after her breakup with Peter Romanov. First he breaks up with her after three years of dating without telling her why. Lex, her twin, goes and beats Peter up resulting in sending Peter to the hospital. "What?", Philip asked assuming he had heard incorrect. It was not… possible. "Dear, I…" He had to be extremely careful because his words could easily hurt her deeply and that was the worst possible outcome. "You see… I’m a vampire and I cannot have children." However, now it dawned on him she had had all the symptoms throughout the past few weeks. Was it even possible? "Alice, are you… certain?", he asked a bit warily at the end. It was likely that this was a mistake after all.

"I…" Peter could not quite comprehend the situation in this moment. His mind seemed to consist only of white noise and no logical string of thought. Cropped sentences and random words seemed to clash inside his head, rendering him unable to form any reaction to the news. This went on for a few moments until eventually he snapped out of his trance… at least partially. "Am I the father?", he asked but then smiled a bit. Of course it was him. Thena would never ever cheat on him and he knew that perfectly well.

Suddenly, the information began to make sense all over again and he smiled broadly. “I’m going to be a father”, he said loudly, laughing and picking her up. “We’re going to have a baby”, he half-shouted, spinning her in circles around the room.

Thena smiled when she woke up to the text by Peter. He was such a gentleman, sending her good night and good morning texts everyday. She sleepily grabbed her phone fully and typed back. 

[text] Morning to you too Sunshine. Do you want to get some brunch? 

She lazily lounged on her bed waiting for his reply by checking Instagram, Twitter and sending him a snapchat. She looked horrible with bed hair sticking up everywhere but he was used to it. 

Alex and Athena(The Twins) 

Thena looked down at her phone as she was driving about to turn the corner on the street the restaurant they were meeting at was. 

[text] Calm your tits Lex. I’m almost there. Geez you would have thought marriage and kids would have taught you some patience. 

She pulled into the parking and parked getting out of the car. She saw Alex standing by the door tapping his foot impatiently. “I’m here aren’t I?” she called out. 

Rolex 

Roxy was sitting at her computer watching Netflix when she received a text from Alex. Her sort of friend, hookup buddy…oh lord knows what they were. 

She smiled when she read the text, looked at the clock and then at what she was wearing. She would need to change but the night was still young and they definitely could hang out. 

[text] Sure! What do you want to do?

shops for groceries: Roxy makes the list but the elves tend to do it. 

kills the spiders: If they are together Alex will but Roxy isn’t afraid of killing them herself. 

comes home drunk at 3am: Neither honestly. 

makes breakfast: Probably Roxy but only on days she doesn’t have work, Alex has no idea how to cook so most likely the house elves cook. 

remembers to feed the fish: If anyone Roxy would, but I doubt they would have fish. 

decorates the apartment: Roxy for sure, as Alex could care less. 

initiates duets: Roxy for sure, mostly Alex won’t join in when she randomly jams out to music since he cant carry a tune but he will watch her with a smile on his face. 

falls asleep first: Probably Roxy, Alex tends to have insomnia and sometimes can’t go to sleep right away.
