Crotuna is such an iconic ship it’s even connected to…

I know, i know, its crazy but if you’re interested how these two things connect read on.

Here is a quick synopsis of the song by cfm radio: The protagonist is excited to go surfing, while mocking and rejecting the mundane life of those who commute to work…However, there is a hint of nostalgia and sadness as the undertow reminds him that he can never go back home. Ultimately, the protagonist chooses surfing as his preferred way of life…” we all know that Mitunas passion is skateboarding, and that his injury that gave him a “no bullshit” and impulsive attitude (or at least made it more prominent. The narrator in the song must had some revaluation to leave the mundane rat race of society.

In a Crotuna perspective, we remember that Mituna rejects social expeditions voluntarily, ie: calling a high blood a slur, being a lair etc. and this ocean that is calling the narrator could be interpreted as a metaphor (which it is in the original) but in this sense, as Cronus. Of course his quadrants would be livid if he did go “surf”, but that’s his passion. Skating and a relationship with Cronus.

Is Mituna seeing the inventible problems in the relationship, but by the end of the song still choosing Cronus. “Never coming home” can refer to Latula, Mituna would of course miss her, or at least be upset that he had to disappoint her. Plus, a relationship with latula was easier.

And the chorus telling that others take their “car to work” can be a metaphor on how the other dancestors hate Cronus and want nothing to do with him, but Mituna “surfs” and unlike the rest. And “the running out of fuel” is people just doing that, not bulging any connection with Cronus at all or getting to know him. But Mituna is “still afloat” saying that’s he’s in this “ocean”. I know this a lot of metaphors to wrap your head around, but it’s worth it.

Ps: surf wax AMERICA, Cronus is a greaser for god shake! It can’t get more Crotuna then this
