I'm pissed about that war in Gaza which was still ongoing for over a fucking year. I wish I could put an end to this goddamn war, but I don't think I can do that shit. After the army entered the city, we went out to Rafah under the attack of planes and missiles.And the bullets that spare no one, we lived in torn tents that did not protect from the heat, the cold, or the rain. All the words in the world cannot describe what we have lived through. All I want is for you to look at me and my family with a merciful heart and help me.

Before October 7th, I lived a humble life, dedicated to teaching and raising my children. But everything changed. Since that day, my family and I have been living in unimaginable conditions—without electricity, without clean water, without safety.

Our home was destroyed, and we now sleep in a torn tent, exposed to the freezing cold. My children cry from hunger and fear. The markets are empty or unaffordable. Bread is now a luxury—I knead pasta just to make something to fill their stomachs

Please open your heart and stand with us in this time of despair.

We are not asking for much—just a chance to survive. A blanket for the cold. A piece of bread. A roof that does not leak. A moment of peace for my children

My Journey Escaping the War in Gaza

My name is Musab. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I’m one of the survivors of the war here, and in a moment, I lost everything — my home, my safety, and my community. 🏚️💔

I’m a father to three young daughters: twin girls, Alaa and Lama, who are 4 years old, and my eldest, Lina, who is 6. 👧👧👧 Lama had to undergo surgery after being injured in an airstrike — she now has metal plates in her arm. We don't even have bread to eat, and when we do find it, the prices are impossibly high. 🍞❌💸

The war has turned Gaza into rubble. Everything is destroyed. No safety. No stability. No hope. 🕊️💣🏚️ Food and clean water have become luxuries. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and medicine is nearly nonexistent. 🚫💊🚑

I am also injured — my shoulder was severely damaged, and I had surgery, but I still need a second operation. The pain is constant, but the greatest pain is seeing my children hungry and afraid. 🤕❤️‍🩹😢

Escaping Gaza is my only hope, but I can’t do it alone. The cost of evacuation is overwhelming, and I simply can’t afford it. I write to you now with hope that my words will reach a compassionate heart. 🙏🌍

I’m not asking for much — just a chance at life for me and my children. A chance to escape fear and destruction, and to begin again in a safe place. Faced with horrors we cannot even begin to realize; so close to the dream that she has held tightly in her heart since childhood, with a simple desire to help the people around her in any which way she can, and right when she is so close to realizing her dream, to turning it into her life and her reality, her dream is shattered - slipping through her fingers as she desperately tries to hold onto it: her dreams, her inspiration, her motivations, even her friends and teachers, some of whom were killed during the war.

All she has left is her dream, striving to fulfill it.

Even during the war, with the education she had received before the war flipped her life upside-down, she put that knowledge to work, standing alongside nurses and doctors in the field and tending to horrible wounds with limited access to medical tools and resources - helping anyone she could, while hungry, thirsty, with nowhere but a flimsy tent to lay her head down at night, exposed to the harsh elements.

Mena's whole life has been dedicated to helping the people around her. It is now our turn to show Mena the unconditional love and support that she has shown to anybody lucky enough to cross her path. ❤️

The university contacted her a couple days ago, letting her know that she will have to pay the fees she's incurred for the online courses she's dedicated herself to during the war; studying as her childhood home was shelled and destroyed along with all of her and her family's things and lifetime of saved funds, memorizing her work as bombs dropped on her university, crumpling it to stone and dust.

💔 Trapped in Pain… A Mother’s Plea 💔

I am Kholoud Al-Hanawi From Gaza 🇵🇸, the wife of Dr. Ahmad, a surgeon who risked his life in the war to save others. But today, he stands helpless—unable to save his own children. Our home is gone, reduced to rubble, and now we live in a tattered tent, barely shielding us from the burning sun and freezing nights. We have lost everything… but the worst pain is watching our children suffer.

Our precious babies, Yazan (9 years old) and Zeina (2 years old), are battling a cruel disease—Plaque Ichthyosis Psoriasis 🩸. Their delicate skin cracks, bleeds, and burns every single day. Every movement is agony. Every night is filled with their cries of pain. No child should suffer like this.

Tonight, Yazan looked at me with tear-filled eyes and whispered:

“Mama… will I be like this forever?” 😢

I swallowed my pain and forced a smile. How do I tell him that the medicine he desperately needs is beyond our reach? $500 every 3 days—that’s what it costs to ease their pain. But how can we afford it when we barely have food to survive?

Then came his next question… the one that shattered me completely:

“Mama… will I die if we don’t get the medicine?” 💔
