Hey there

I know you are busy with life but can u give us any update on Pretty Penny. I discovered it a week ago and have been binge reading it on my office breaks....and you have got me hooked to sweet little Kennedy and her life with Tarlos...so if you ever read this or have time off ....can you give us the next chapter of Pretty Penny.

I've been having a lot of difficulty with writing for awhile now, but I do want to finish this story. Please be patient with me and hopefully I will get my writing mojo back soon ☺️

It was one of those rare, peaceful slow Sundays that they didn’t get often enough anymore. 

They were both off work for the next two days, schedules aligning for the first time in months - TK was sure that Carlos called in a few favors for that to happen. It was needed, of course, the time to just be together, slow down, and talk. It had been too long, much too long since they got time to be together and just exist in the moment.

TK sighed contently and snuggled deeper into Carlos’ arms. He felt the warmth of the morning sun on his back but it wasn’t as tempting as feeling Carlos’ strong arms around his body. There wasn’t anything in the world at that moment that could convince him to get out of bed and out of his husband’s arms.

“Good morning,” Carlos murmured, and TK felt the words more than he heard them as he rested his head against Carlos’ chest. 

“Good morning to you too, sweet husband,” TK said. His voice was still thick with sleep and he didn’t have any plans to do anything about it. He wanted to spend his entire day wrapped up in Carlos’ arms, weaving in and out of sleep and finding small moments to talk.

Carlos shifted and for a moment TK thought he was going to get out of bed, but he didn’t. Instead, he pulled TK closer, brushing his lips against TK’s forehead, and held him tighter.

“Let’s not get out of bed today,” Carlos murmured, already sounding like he was going to drift back to sleep.

TK smiled, “I like the sounds of that.”

Sure there were people who would say they wasted their day off by napping for most of it, but  TK would disagree. There wasn’t anything better than getting to lay in his husbands' arms and just exist while the world outside of their shared space moved on. It was days like this that he lived for, days that reminded him that Carlos loved him and wasn’t going to let him go - no matter how many rough patches they went through.

How has Christopher only been in Texas 3 months but Buck and Tommy were celebrating their six month anniversary a few weeks ago?

Carlos has always been flawed. They both have, as are all humans. Neither is perfect but they are both learning and growing together about how to navigate everything. And honestly, doing a great job. No relationship is perfect, but their love and respect for each other is apparent in everything they do.

They give each other grace. We should do the same.

For the first three seasons TK was bashed, ridiculed and blamed for everything that went on in their relationship, even when his issues or reasons were valid. Even last season when TK showed so much maturity and grace and acceptance and sacrifice for Carlos, he somehow still got bashed and is constantly talked about as someone not good enough for Carlos and that Carlos should leave his ass, divorce, cheat on him, etc. Last season and this season Carlos is being written as not so squeaky clean either and people get shut down or accused of being racist for dare wanting to talk about him? Like they had no problem all these years with TK? Please 🙄. If people are allowed to bitch about TK for every little thing he says or does, the same should go for Carlos if someone has an issue with something he says or does. That's all there is to it.
