Homework #3HW1
Describe 3 things you learned from reading the following information on Tumblr: 1. Posts on Tumblr are more popular if they were more visual and involved less text. 2. Tumblr is very easy to used and create posts compared to other blogging platforms like Wordpress, Blogger, etc. 3. Tumblr is basically a mix between the best features of Twitter (retweets, followers, timeline, replies, etc.) and Wordpress (longer posts, scheduling, multimedia, etc.)

Theme of Blog
For this blog the theme that I selected has to do with film and movies. I selected this theme because: 1) I am a Movieholic! 2) I hope one day to become a director or a cinematographer. 3) lot of news related to the film industry are published daily. The first reason I chose this theme is because I love watching movies, I can watch 2 movies everyday for the rest of my life if I could. On some days, I watched up to 4 movies a day. Another reason I chose this theme is because I would like to become a director one day, and I think we learn a lot from what we watch onscreen. When I watch a film, I'm not only focusing on the content, I am also focusing on the camera movements and the techniques used. The final reason was that I needed to have a lot of content to post on the blog. And the film industry is filled with news that comes out daily: from actors being chosen for different roles, which movies are going to be released this week, and which movie is at the top or the bottom of the Box Office.

Tom Hank's Inferno Bombs U.S. Box Office! Tom Hank's latest film Inferno proved to be failure not only amongst critics, but also in the box office. The film is based on Dan Brown's critically acclaimed fourth book in the series, following Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, and The Lost Symbol. However, like its predecessors, the film failed to amaze critics and fans alike. The difference is that the latest film also failed to amass in the Box Office, making it one of Tom Hank's least acclaimed films. Inferno has been in cinemas for three weeks now, but it never made it to the top in the weekly box office.
