Who: Keynote Speaker Dorothy Butler Gilliam, Author and Journalist who was the first African American female reporter at The Washington Post.
The 35th Annual Maryland Communication Association conference theme “Truth or Consequences focuses on communication events that influence us at school, work, home and in our communities. MCA’s theme fits into this year’s National Communication Association theme “Communication for Survival” as we ask how to maintain the discipline in the era of what is true or false through communication.

Food Market
Press Conference at Montgomery College-Rockville to discuss their mobile market dates this fall on September 30
What: Press conference with The Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) Center for Success will have three mobile markets this Fall. They will also make available a list of other free food resources to prevent food envy.
The Mobile Market provides fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods to MC students, faculty/staff, and the community. The food is distributed on campus at no cost.
Who: The Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) Center for Success at Montgomery College.
Where: Rockville Campus September 30, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Outside of the North Garage.
