Hey, IrregularSaturn here. Long time no see!

With Twitter going through a crisis and its viability for artists endangered, lots of people are migrating back to Tumblr, as well as other social media. I will keep this account dedicated to Mega Man X: Unit 49, which is still in hiatus due to a billion things getting in the way in the last years, because the blog still contains the whole comic.

If/when I begin posting art here, it will be in a new account. In any case, I’ll make a new post telling you the username.

Unfortunately I never had the mood to try spriting the guys from Mega Mission 4 and Giga Mission. Their designs are kinda overdetailed for a sprite, so it would be too much information to compact in such a small scale.

Despite many hardships in my personal life, I could deliver all the 80+ sprites without delays and improve my skills and knowledge of the lore. The commander of the Far East HQ, responsible for the task forces sent to neutralize the Rebellion Army and prevent the destruction of Giga City. Redips was actually following X from very close, in the form of Spider - he was interested in obtaining the two Supra-Force Metal pieces all along! A rare case of a trial model for advanced Force Metal infusions who had been sucessful at Lagrano Laboratory. He broke free and began an uprising to turn Giga City into an independent Reploid state - the Rebellion - and banished all humans from the island.

Thanks to the capacity of his body, Epsilon infused a chunk of Supra-Force Metal into himself without losing his sanity. Cornered at the Grave Ruins Base, he decided to fight until the end for his vision: a world where Reploids are free to evolve like him.

An exotic Reploid of the Rebellion who switches between three faces, each one representing an elemental mode: Ra (fire), Baron (water), Jade (thunder). Incentas takes over the old Gimialla Energen Mine and lures the Resistance into a trap.

A government agent sent to aid security in Giga City, but defected to the Rebellion and took over the Ulfat Factory to mass-produce Preon Mechaniloids. Despite looking fancy, Jentra uses violent aerial headbutts and huge fire blasts in combat.

Mega Man X: Sprite Conversion Project #50: [ Dr. Psyche ]

A Reploid scientist obsessed with evolution who joined the Rebellion, insisting on dragging his pacifist friend Gaudile to their cause. Psyche increases the pitch of his voice while making exaggerated gestures all the time, indicating he is crazy.

Bonus - Mad Nautilus: After taking critical damage, Psyche ejects his head into a body hidden deep within the mechaplant forest. It saps enemies and takes cover in a shell that almost nullifies any damage, becoming vulnerable only when charging his powerful cannon.

Rebellion's triceratops-like "Super Heavy Cannon Reploid", who took over an old Force Metal mining facility and turned it into a prisoner-of-war camp. Arrogant, sadistic, thirsty for power and domination, he crushes enemies with massive water attacks.

The "Ultra Mobile Bobcat Reploid" of the Rebellion, who captures Giga City's Central Tower and Chief R. Jango can electrify his claws, turn his paws into razors and also thrust himself ball-curled towards targets in his Rolling Assault signature attack.

Mega Man X: Sprite Conversion Project #47: [ Hippopressor ]

A huge Mechaniloid that surprises X and Zero near the top of Lagrano Ruins. It uses the Hippo Vulcan inside its mouth to machine-gun enemies while it charges the Shark Missile. Once its head is destroyed, it gives place to the Hippo Particle Cannon.
