“It’s not that I hate you, I just don’t care for you.”
Nice day for a pie?
“Why do you hate me so, mon ami?”

“Perfect. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to head out for the day since you are here now. If you have any other questions find someone else to ask and bother. See you around.”
“Sounds easy enough!”

“Yes actually, that would be bothering me. I know how beautiful I am. So tell me something I don’t know.”
“Well,”
“Would I be bothering you if I were stopping to tell you how beautiful you looked today?”

“Um, show up on time. Don’t steal, don’t give away free stuff. Make sure the animals are alive when you get here and when you leave. That’s basically it.”
“Awesome!” Pete smiled, satisfied that he finally got a job. Hopefully he didn’t lose it. “So, is there any rules or something I need to follow? I know I gotta take care of the animals and feed them and clean their cages. Anything aside from that I need to keep in mind?”

“Yeah that shouldn’t be a problem.”
“Is there anything else I can help you with today?” She asked as she began engraving the name Max into the charm.

“For a handsome guy like you?” Meg said as she looked the man up and down. “It will cost you one drink at Fire and Ice. What do you say handsome?”
Hans pulled out his wallet, taking out some cash. “How much is it?”

henrycoulter:
Henry was practically beaming from ear to ear to hear that she would have lunch with him. He had wanted to spend time with er for quite a while and learn more and more things about her. “Very good. Are you busy tomorrow? Or is the next day better?” It didn’t really matter when she had wanted to ave lunch, he’d get up early no matter what to make sure that their lunch was absolutely spectacular and the tree house looked splendid, full of fun and full of blankets and pillows.
“Tomorrow works for me. I open at the pet store but I’ll be off around noon. Does that work for you?” Meghan asked. His enthusiasm was catching and she couldn’t help but find herself getting just as excited as the man in front of her. But despite her excitement she couldn’t help but feel a little nervous. She didn’t open herself up to people, not anymore. She couldn’t and despite his kindness, Meghan couldn’t help but worry about his intentions.

“You’re welcome.”
“Now do you need something, or are you just trying to bother me?”
“Well,”
“Hi to you, too. Thanks for just bumping into me.”

Meghan couldn’t believe her luck. Out of all the basket she had to bid on and win, she had to win Finn’s. While she didn’t exactly hate the man, she wasn’t exactly his biggest fan either. Their past encounters had ended with her leaving extremely frustrated and annoyed with the man. If there was anything positive to be said about the man it was that he had managed to fix her ring rather quickly. Unfortunately for him that wasn’t enough to redeem him completely.
As Meghan walked towards their rendezvous point in the square, she couldn’t help but hope he wasn’t there when she showed up. That perhaps he would decide this date wasn’t the best idea and ditch her. It would be one of the few times she wouldn’t mind being stood up. For a second it looked as if her hopes and dreams had come true, she couldn’t find the man. It wasn’t until a heavier set man stepped out of the way that she saw him sitting on the edge of the fountain.
Meghan groaned after the pair made eye contact and he shouted out to her. Despite her feelings of annoyance she decided she would try and make the most of this. “What can I say, I’m a sucker for pie.”
Shut Up and Dance With Me | Finn&Meghan
Finn sat on the edge of the fountain in the town square, drumming his fingers on his knees. He’d nearly bust a gut laughing at the look on Meghan Fehr’s face when she realized just whose basket she had won, but he was also just a tad bit nervous about the entire situation. For one thing, he had a habit of getting on her nerves, even when he wasn’t trying to. Hopefully, this wasn’t going to be an entirely unpleasant experience for her.
The little shops and cafes around the square were still open, and people were bustling about on their way. If there was one place Finn knew well and could never truly get tired of, it was the square. He had grown up watching it from the windows of Bradshaw & Family, and the people who bustled about it were always fascinating. He was so engrossed with trying to make out which article it was that a banker was reading from the newspaper, he nearly missed the sight of his picnic partner approaching.
Finn held up the picnic basket and called out,
“Be honest! You bid on the good looks of the basket, didn’t you.”

Oh yes, so much fun. I am so excited, and I really can’t hide it.
I honestly have no idea of his opinion on the matter. Maybe I should just take the basket and run. What would you do?
I’ve seen him around from time to time.
Ughh, sounds like fun. Thankfully for me it has always been on a business note, so I’ve got no opinion on him. If it’s that bad then just take the basket and leave, I’m sure he must feel the same way.

His name is Finn, and he is a giant pest. Kind of like a cockroach.
Whose basket could be so terrible for a face like that?

His name is Finn and he exists.
Let’s just say the few times we have spent time together they haven’t been the most pleasant. He is just so, irritating.
Wow who is the guy? And what did he do?

“No price is too high for a good bottle of scotch.”
“Even if that price is a picnic with Cheekbones.”
“I couldn’t agree with you more.”
“And by Cheekbones are you referring to Bastian?”

“Eye candy?”
“Come now, you’re going to make me blush.”
“Oh please, you’re the executioner. We both know you aren’t one to blush easy.”
Well, this is boring.

“Isn’t it though?”
“Yeah, if you don’t buy him he is going to end up as sushi. So you better make up your mind.”
