satoshi doesnât really get affected by crowds during battle, certainly gets affected by leagues less than in the early years of his career. before the count in, after the last pokĂ©mon has been defeated, sure, he always feels every noise in a stadium, soaks it all in like an energy sponge ... but once the battle is on, it's just him & his opponent & their respective teams. no audience, no referee, no commentator, no cameras. just a field, two or four pokĂ©mon, & him facing his opponent. this goes for large-scale battles just as much as small impromptu battles. the only place where he even hears the arena is alola, because his brain has never stopped catching on the word "champion" being yelled his way, but it still doesn't affect his battles, just makes him all warm & fuzzy.

Q. what kind of love are you ??
A. LOVE AS A THRESHOLD. your love does not ask for much.   your love does not take.   your love is free, & unquestioned, & here for wherever needs it.   when you fall in love, it is as gentle as a breath in the night.   it is quiet, & it is effortless.   it is tender.   if your love was a house, it would readily welcome all who come through.   if your love was a hearth, it would warm the hands of whoever stopped by, whether for a day, a month, a year, or forever.   when you fall for someone, it is without strings, without conditions, without need.   you love for the sake of loving, for the sake of caring for those who need it.   you love with a giver's heart & a giver's hands & are made so much stronger for it.   being loved by you is to always feel at home.   your love may not always be well - received by those unprepared to linger, but it is unforgettable all the same.

How quick is your character to trust someone else?
character development.
slower than he used to be. the trust satoshi's given quickly in the past is still there, his trust is extremely hard to lose, but it's no longer as freely doled out as it once was. it takes him a few weeks now to consider someone a friend not just an acquaintance, takes him a few months to feel comfortable sharing beyond what's publicly available information or entirely surface-level.
pokémon, though, he trusts on a dime (it's where his bias for them over humans shows the most), & he is slightly quicker to trust those he's aware have either gone through similar experiences as him (re gods &/or (near)death experiences) or have some kind of power or another. in a crisis, he'll trust the word of anyone who looks distressed enough, but that's hardly trusting them.

How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person? (sorry if youve already gotten this one edward!!!!)
character development.
satoshi's predisposed to immediately suspect the rocket trio have done something if they're in the vicinity of trouble, & for a few years any news of troublemaking in alola had him immediately thinking "okay, which skull was it this time" (nowadays he's better acquainted with skull brand shenanigans, so it's less suspicion & more certainty, but it's all lighthearted). there has been, for a couple of years now, an underlying suspicion of anything related to deity research, though he's never outright stated anything to anyone except his pokémon, though there are a small handful of people he trusts unconditionally in the field.
the closer to another he is, of course the more likely satoshi is to give the benefit of the doubt, but if it sounds like something they'd do, he's going to squint at them until they satisfyingly-vehemently deny the accusation. then he's ride-or-die & will be extremely disappointed & hurt should his initial suspicion be proven correct. he doesn't like suspecting his friends.

In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?
character development.
he compares skill, compares rank, badge count, tournament victories, accomplishments. compares treatment of pokémon, uses these comparisons as a starting point of judging the other's character.
he used to do skill comparisons for sake of self-validation, eager to prove himself a step above a rival in their parallel journeys, but it's gradually grown to be more like comparing notes for a test, sharing tips & experience. when he has compared skill in judgemental terms in the past six or so years, it has always ended in the same place â " i need to get stronger, i need to get better, i need to do more, i need to work harder " . he gets pretty harsh on himself when he feels he's falling behind or stagnating, & comparing his state to others' only becomes fuel for him to become his own worst critic.
