There are a lot of plausible ways that things could go if Shen Yuan met Shen Jiu when they're both grown adults, but for my money the funniest is if they just immediately start trying to maim each other.
Shen Yuan is wondering if there's some sort of mandate of the "if you meet your double you have to kill him" style in effect, but no. It's just that he's still way more pissed off about the child abuse against Binghe than he realizes, while Shen Jiu's reaction to seeing anyone who reminds him of himself is to try and destroy them. There's not a lot of thinking or finesse involved, so they basically go from zero to "rolling in the dirt trying to claw each other's eyes out" with no warning.

One of the lowkey funniest differences between the Odyssey and Epic the musical is the first meeting between father and son, because while in the poem it was relatively low key (albiet with Ody still in disguise) in the musical it was basically:
Odysseus: (in the middle of killing 90 some odd guys) -All of you who have done me wrong this will be your fate! (chops off a guy's head)
Telemachus: (internally) Fuck! Oh fucking fuck! Oh gods! Athena why did you leave me here? Who is this man? Is he a last minute suitor-how am I supposed to get him out of here?! Wait...He said all these guys planned to kill his son and rape his wife- wait! Were they were going to-! Ok- self- we can process that later after taking the biggest gamble of the Bronze age.
Telemachus: (externally) Father...?
Odysseus: (heart eyes) Son...? (Immediately drops weapon)
Telemachus: (Internally) Oh good, no worries here... They were going to DO WHAT TO ME AND MY MOM!!! NOPE! SINGING SINGING LA LA DON"T THINK ABOUT IT!

In which A siren's "good" intentions leads to a vacation gone awry, and a confrontation less serious than Poseidon hoped for and Odysseus feared. (inspired by that one Gwendy Video of Poseidon pretending to be a siren

By the way, you can improve your executive function. You can literally build it like a muscle.
Yes, even if you're neurodivergent. I don't have ADHD, but it is allegedly a thing with ADHD as well. And I am autistic, and after a bunch of nerve damage (severe enough that I was basically housebound for 6 months), I had to completely rebuild my ability to get my brain to Do Things from what felt like nearly scratch.
This is specifically from ADDitude magazine, so written specifically for ADHD (and while focused in large part on kids, also definitely includes adults and adult activities):
Here's a link on this for autism (though as an editor wow did that title need an editor lol):
Resources on this aren't great because they're mainly aimed at neurotypical therapists or parents of neurdivergent children. There's worksheets you can do that help a lot too or thought work you can do to sort of build the neuro-infrastructure for tasks.
But a lot of the stuff is just like. fun. Pulling from both the first article and my own experience:
Play games or video games where you have to make a lot of decisions. Literally go make a ton of picrews or do online dress-up dolls if you like. It helped me.
Art, especially forms of art that require patience, planning ahead, or in contrast improvisation
Listening to longform storytelling without visuals, e.g. just listening regularly to audiobooks or narrative podcasts, etc.
Meditation
Martial arts
Sports in general
Board games like chess or Catan (I actually found a big list of what board games are good for building what executive functioning skills here)
Woodworking
Cooking
If you're bad at time management play games or video games with a bunch of timers
Things can be easier. You might always have a disability around this (I certainly always will), but it can be easier. You do not have to be this stuck forever.

Darcy in his letter being like, "I suppose if you say so, your sister might have actually loved Bingley. I'm not sure though, it seems unlikely. I did look very hard at her for like, whole minutes at the ball. But whatever, it's already done and I still think I was right. Because your family sucks."

From Someone who works with medical records -
RFK Jr. is stating he will make a list of everyone diagnosed with autism to research the cause. This is bad for obvious reasons.
But there are only 1 to 3 LEGAL ways to get medical records, especially ones of a mental health kind.
1.DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM YOUR DOCTOR ALLOWING THE RELEASE OF MEDICAL RECORDS TO 3RD PARTIES FOR RESEARCH.
This will be in the form of a HIPAA release that you yourself must sign to give consent.
2. DO NOT SIGN A BLANKET RELEASE OF INFORMATION FROM YOUR INSURANCE.
This won't have any specified information to release to them or for them to release to someone else. If you have to have records for the insurance company, make sure they have the specific dates, locations, and if applicable, body part they are needing records for.
3. UNLESS A LOCAL JUDGE FOR YOUR STATE SIGNS A SUBPOENA OR COURT ORDER, YOU MUST SIGN A RELEASE FORM.
The only way around your consent is if RFK Jr. goes through the legal system and that is a HASSEL.
HIPAA is very strict and keeps us safe from malpractice and legal nonsense like this. I know the majority of people on here are not the targets of the 'autism must be cured' crusades, the people who have the highest support needs are the ones he's mainly after, but if you have family or friends that are severely disabled, this is how you help keep them safe.
Pass this around and stay informed. The Man Who Swallows Demons as He Speaks is not to be trusted.

Brought coffee and coffee cake to class this morning and once the adults had partaken I let the kids have some of the coffee cake.
Child: Study, why doesn’t it taste like coffee?
Me: Coffee cake isn’t usually made of coffee, it is a cake adults eat with their coffee, that’s why it’s named that.
Child: Interesting…my mom claims cake is not for breakfast. And now I discover adults have been having cake that is specifically meant for breakfast this whole time… fascinating.
