"Masumi Sera," She nodded her head in greeting to the man and put her hands in the pocket of her jacket, an old habit of hers. "So your Mouri-san's apprentice huh? Are you a Detective then?"
"Hello, I don't believe we were ever formally introduced? Though I visit the agency often I rarely visit the restaurant underneath."

"Oh, hello. I don’t believe we have. I’ve seen you in passing, though. Name’s Tooru Amuro." Amuro gave her a smile, noting the eyes. An Akai relation of some kind, perhaps?

She'd only been half expecting it to actually be him. Hearing his real voice seem to make her heart skip faster. She was at a loss for a second...should she let him go for now? After all she didn't plan to catch him that night...well she hadn't.
She planned to capture him in the same flashy way he put on his 'shows', but...
"Oh? That sounds like it would be more fun but, why wait?"
What was she doing? She had it all planned out...
"If I let you get away now I have a feeling I'll regret it."
She couldn't stop herself, her muscles were already flexing, ready to pounce.
To Catch a Thief
He stepped back. Great, not even the damn heist and things were already going wrong. “Alright, alright, you got me, detective.” He let his voice shine through.
"Look, I know neither of us have time for this. Why don’t we just go on our ways and settle this later, during the heist?" Grin.

His voice hadn't wavered, but her suspicions only grew and she quickly reached forward, imitating his earlier cheek pull on him.
To Catch a Thief
"No, I don’t believe so." Oh, shit, where did he slip up?

Sera almost jumped back when the 'guard' touched her, instead she let out a small squeak which she quickly bit short. Okay that was weird, that was really weird. She thought she'd been weirdly jumping from just talking to the guy but when he'd strayed closer her heart jumped again. He had a good point, KID had cross-dressed before or so she'd heard-...Wait a second...
She looked him up and down again, eyes narrowing in suspicion. This was the first time she'd not been mistaken as male by someone she'd never met; how did this person know?
"Do I know you?" She asked, unconsciously leaning closer to get a better look at him.
To Catch a Thief
"I’d heard there was someone wandering around unattended and I wouldn’t put KID past crossdressing. He’s done it before." With that, he pinched one of Sera’s cheeks.
It took a liar to know a liar. And she was a bit jumpy compared to when he’d seen her before. (Both in passing on the Bell Tree train and with the whole Blush Mermaid mess.) “Sorry, miss. Perhaps you shouldn’t be wandering around unattended with a heist happening tonight?”

Sera's eyes widened and she momentarily lost track of thought. She didn't recognize his voice, but something about when he spoke made her heart beat just a tad faster. Perhaps she was nervous...right, she'd snuck in here after all. If she didn't keep her cool she would be caught. She blinked and mentally shook herself, putting on a confident smile.
"Not at all, I'm a special guest here after all; perhaps you weren't informed?"
He shouldn't notice the slight waver in her voice right? One would have to be skilled in catching liars for that; for the most part she kept her body movements and voice in check to hide any signs of her sudden nervousness.
"The guards are not to move from their post, so why is it you would come to a room completely unrelated to the case in question?"
She mentally berated herself, another small but barely noticeable lilt in her voice during that last statement. What was wrong with her, this should have been a piece of cake. No matter, he probably wouldn't notice that one either; it was okay.
To Catch a Thief
"I could ask you the same question, miss." He’d altered his voice just a tad. Enough to match his appearance, not enough to be recognizable as KID. He gave her a skeptical look and crossed his arms. "Perhaps you are lost?"

Sera had just finished carefully placing the file back in its destination when he'd entered the room, almost startling her enough to kick him on reflex; instead she blinked at him, surprised. The guards were supposed to be spread at strategic points throughout the building there would be no reason for one to come in here. How strange...She cocked her head, looking the 'guard' up and down before speaking.
"Whats your business here?"
She spoke confidently, it was something she'd learned to do under the circumstances. Act like you were supposed to be there and you'll be fine, or so she hoped.
To Catch a Thief
Meanwhile, KID had slipped in, under the guise of an officer and moved from room to room, noting the changes. Another camera set above the gem in question. A bit hard to tell about the guards, but it seemed like there were several more. He’d have to get a look at the roster if he wanted specifics. And he’d have to make sure to memorize it, so that he could take someone’s place instead of making people wonder why there’s an extra guard.
So KID slipped around, moving like smoke. Roster would presumably with the files in the security room. He headed upstairs and slipped in, if a tad confused when he got there. Sera was there? Oh, great, if she recognized him, she’d kick him in the face again, wouldn’t she…

She hadn't expected to be let in, in fact she would probably get quite the lecture from Nakamori if she'd asked oh so innocently for any information on said phantom thief. The internet was limited mostly to gossip and held no information one couldn't find out from just being at one of the famous thief's heists in person, which she had been. Though to be fair she was knocked out half the time. That stupid thief, with his stupid nice voice and his stupid confident smirk and his stupid blue eyes-
Her thought process halted for a minute; when had she gone off on that tangent? She shook herself, deciding she was just thinking on it too deeply. Her real target were the files Nakamori had on KID after obsessively hunting him for so many years. An employee of his had let it slip where he kept them, and she felt just a tiny bit guilty; but she was already sneaking into his office after slipping out of sight of the patrol guards so there was no turning back now. Besides she was only taking a look, it wasn't as if she was stealing anything so it was okay. Or so she told herself.
Sera grinned as she finally reached the target office. Nakamori was working late tonight so the door was open but he wasn't in his office at the moment, in fact he'd probably be in the bathroom for just a biiiiit longer. Enough for her to carefully, without leaving fingerprints or any indication she'd been there, locate KID's file and quickly flip through it. It only took her a few minutes; eyes scanning the page and saving only important facts in her mind. She didn't notice the small smile growing slowly on her face as she conjured her plan. She wouldn't let him slip away this time.
To Catch a Thief
Fresh air was nice, so nice. Information gathering was one of Sera’s favorite things and perhaps it would distract her from her…current problem. So she wandered around the streets, for once hoping for trouble to pop up. Unfortunately she got her wish-
"Oh no…"
She groaned when she came upon a small crowd of teens, all of them girls; and all of them talking about the one person she was trying to get her mind off of. Did you hear? KID’s sent another heist note! I wonder what trick he’ll use this time, ahhh I can’t wait!
True to the girls words it was there, plastered on the front of the newspaper. Why was it that things decided to work against her today? She sighed bringing her finger to her lips in thought. Actually; no, this might not be a bad thing, perhaps if she could finally catch the thief and send him away in handcuffs she wouldn’t have to worry about him for at least the remainder of the week. Yes, that sounded like a very good plan. First She would find out everything she could about him, and she knew just the place…
#phantomthiefkid#Sera your no better than that stupid thief right now#omfg#I get the feeling she's too reckless for her own good

Here is a familiar scene, once again a white dove pecks at your window, and just like last time you go to greet it. Though this time the envelope in its beak is closed and you must open it. After you do so you see a single name is written fancily in the middle of the card, and almost immediately the card starts to glow, warping and changing shape into what seems to be an arrow made of pure white light. The glowing arrow then shoots forward and digs itself into your chest before exploding in a flash. Leaving you feeling to weak to stand for a few minutes, then dissipating like nothing happened. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You are a chaser, your target is: Kaitou KID //Weak //Medium //Lovesick //Passionate //Obsessive ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important: PLEASE DO NOT POST THIS UNTIL MONDAY (Feb 10). The chart above shows the intensity at which this spell has the ability to affect it's target. Please choose the level that would be comfortable for you, bold AND italicize it. Also be sure to communicate this to your partner so that they are comfortable with it as well. Being the chaser does NOT mean you have to write out a full starter, you may if you want to, but sending a starting ask is perfectly fine as well. Please be sure you have read the guidelines and remember to respect your partner. I will also be uploading the chart on my account and tagging it under Love Week for easy searching, so don't worry about losing it for reference. Have fun and I hope you enjoy Love Week!
----------------------------------------------------------
"Your kidding....right?" Sera stared at the dove in disbelief before it flew off. Her? In love with a KID? Yeh no, that wasn't going to happen, she didn't care about some stupid love spell or whatever. "This is stupid, I'm going to get some fresh air..." Yes fresh air would be nice, to clear her head and perhaps do some information gathering...

"H-hey-!" She was unable to fight back against him in her small body. She was helplessly locked in the vent while he went back to fighting for his life. He was good with a blade, she’d give him that, but there were more men there than he could handle. Though as much as she wanted to stay in help, she knew very well that she couldn’t. She knew she was small, she was powerless and only served as a burden to stay. Indeed, the best choice of action was to find help elsewhere. So with a frustrated bite of her lip she turned her back on the scene and crawled down the twisting vent pathways. She followed the cool air to keep from getting lost in the twists and turns of the narrow vent way.
Once she found the exit she breathed a small sigh of relief and checked the surroundings, well; as much as she could see from her current vantage point. The yard in front was dark but still, there weren’t any guys who followed her it seemed. Luckily the outer vent was old and seemed to be rusting a bit, it wasn’t a problem for her to kick out the loose screws and drop to the ground below.
"Think you guys are bei’n pretty smart don’tcha?"
Sera’s breath caught in her throat. The deep rough voice laced with malice behind her made her spin on her heels. One of the attackers had stowed himself away out of her line of sight and waited for her. Normally she wouldn’t flinch in front of a single man, but she was small, without her strength, and worn down from the recent events. Perhaps she could fake the guy out and get away?
"Grrrrraaaawwwwwww"
Another sound interrupted her thoughts, but this one wasn’t human. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw two large dogs emerge from the shadows of the junkyard. Their teeth bared and looking terrifyingly sharp white their eyes followed her small form. Guard dogs? Perhaps bred to attack and kill any intruders by the look of them. This was bad…this was bad bad bad….she stood completely still, afraid to move the slightest bit.
The man watched her with a sickening smile, he seemed to enjoy the look on her face. Then he made a move, snapping his fingers. A command that prompted the dogs to charge at her, their barks and growls almost beastly and could probably be heard from blocks away. Along with her pained scream.
Ŧ As yori~
To make an already horrible situation worse, there was a little kid. Oh god, there was a little kid and people were shooting at him. He dashed towards the little girl and scooped her up, sliding around a corner. He pressed his back against the wall, catching his breathe as he listened for sounds of pursuit.
"What… what are ya doin’ here, it’s dangerous!" Hattori whsipered in a scolding tone.

Cafe Poirot...that was quite close actually. In fact wasn't it directly under a certain agency? Well it was a place she knew alright. She flipped on her cellphone to check the time, 5:45, A leisurely walk would give her more than enough time. She headed off right away though, finding herself rather eager and interested. Her first thought was that someone had accidentally lost the phone and would have been bewildered to find a text coming from someone different than expected.
However upon closer inspection she could see that the phone model was actually pretty old, a simple model older than even a flip phone. It held no restored data within it beyond the factory installed applications, no contacts no mails, no sign of use whatsoever. So this person had left it there on purpose to be found, quite the bold way to meet someone new. Sera smiled again, she was intrigued.
In no time at all she'd reached the designation. Peering into the window she could see a scattered few customers already there. She inspected each one closely. There was a couple sitting near the corner, chatting lively as they enjoyed their dinner. No, the one who summoned her was more likely to be alone. Then there was a rather old gentlemen, a senior of age sitting on the opposite side of the window. Probably wasn't him either, he was reading the newspaper and was unlikely to contact someone in such a new way as texting. A little more toward the back there seemed to be a student working on homework, but someone waiting to eat with someone else wouldn't have ordered yet, much less started eating, as per common courtesy. In the end she was unable to pick out a likely candidate.
"Guess I'm early then huh." She pulled out her cellphone again and checked the time. "Well I have a few minutes so." and with a grin she entered the restaurant, requesting a seat for two and telling the waiter she would be waiting for someone, possibly a teenager around her age or young adult, and most likely a girl. The style of the text as well as the style of the cheap cellphone she held in her hands had also attested to this possibility.
The waiter nodded and Sera was seated with just an order of iced coffee for the moment, something to tide her over while she waited. She also placed the phone she found in the middle of the table where it was easily visible, indication to who she was once the person she was looking for finally arrived.

The ringtone from the partially hidden cellphone on the ground under the bench caught sera's attention. She'd no idea whose it was, and there was only one sentence. So out of a little mischief she decided to answer the text herself.
[Text]: Sure, name your time and place.[Text]
She hoped she would know the place, she was pretty new to the area after all.

[TEXT]: Let's have dinner.

"Hold on, Sera-san! My hair color is black, not blond. And what makes me so suspicious?"
"..."
"Of course it is...Kita-chan I can see your hair color quite clearly. As for suspicious..well I believe you know more about me then your letting on as derived from our first meeting, that as all."
