instead of focusing so much on animals don't you respect people who aren't vegan and are helping actual human beings? And before you say why not do both, I think what you don't understand is say you were for example a medical student and working night shifts and long hours in a row and all there is to eat is vending machine and cafe food with hardly any vegan options? You probably won't answer this cause makes you look bad
Do you think that Veganism is just about the animals? That it doesn’t help humans?
Hmm okay stick with me here…. there are a lot of things Veganism will fix, and a lot of things that it might not…like war and violence and rape and world hunger and over population and greed and and and the list goes on. I think about this daily and sometimes I just don’t know where to begin. How to really help it all. These are all things that seem HARD to fix and frustrating to think about.
But not eating animals… well thats pretty easy in the grand scheme of things. It’s doable, its simple… just stop eating them. It’s a direct action, as soon as you do it, you know you are having a positive effect on the world.
I don’t know exactly how to save the world and help everyone. But I know it does start from within and your actions. And I do know a lot of it has to do with diet.
Just because someone is a med student doesn’t always mean they will end up helping people. If you are a Med student because you want to save lives, and cure disease/health problems, yet you eat animal products which are directly linked to causing the worlds biggest killers….
Then I think you have missed something… ?
If anything you being vegan, and pushing for vegan options at that local cafe or packing your own lunch (even though it’s not convenient), IS helping save people. It’s creating a demand for healthy food, and helping to normalize it, to make it more accessible to those who really need it. You are trying to save others with medicine yet ignoring the true medicine, food and lifestyle choices. If you want help others your need to firstly help yourself and be an example.
You have made the mistake of thinking veganism is just for the animals. When it is sooo much more. Veganism is the first step in helping others, helping yourself, helping the planet and of course the animals. Just the first step, we have more work to do…

Is there any proof that the meat, dairy and egg industries fund our medical and health studies and pay to push these false agendas and information? My mum doesn't believe me when I say this and it's the most frustrating thing in the Fucking world. Is it even true? I'm stumped at what to say when she says "these people do 6 year courses, they know what they're talking about".
The meat industry tried to sue Oprah for $10 million just because she said “I will never eat another burger again” on live TV.
They go after anyone that defames them, anyone that says a bad word, hence why so many people like the creator of “conspiracy” was scared for his life after making that documentary.
If you read a study that favours meat or diary you just have to look at who funded it, at the bottom it has to say.
http://www.onegreenplanet.org/natural-health/how-big-meat-and-dairy-fund-misleading-health-research-to-fatten-their-wallets/
Doctors take a 6 year course, but no more then 19 hours of that course is dedicated to nutrition. Their degree is to learn mainly about medications, how to diagnosis and what medications to prescribe. They are not taught about diet and how to heal with food. They are more then not taught they are not ALLOWED to only prescribe dietary changes, medication must be involved. I have many friends studying medicine and this is how they explain it to me.
Thankfully thei are a lot of doctors out their that are researching themselves about diet and making a real difference. It’s not the doctors fault it’s the systems and what they are taught.

Okay so let's say someone is eating WSLF, but they're living a sedentary lifestyle. They've seen all over the internet from vegans that females should be eating no less than 2,000 calories a day (even with a sedentary lifestyle), but they are only burning around 1,500 calories during the day. They're only eating WSLF, but exceeding their TDEE by 500 calories consistently, wouldn't they gain weight?
We recommend the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Energy needs.  Please don’t based your diet off of generalizations you glean from the internet.  This covers the bulk of our 90% female audience for sedentary, regular & active by age group

However, you are still stuck applying linear logic to a complex calculus problem.  Did you know that ~85% of energy in your muscles AT REST is from fat?
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/251704766_Carbohydrate_and_fat_utilization_during_rest_and_physical_activity
On average, resting metabolic rate (RMR) accounts for about60e70% of TEE, the remainder being accounted for by diet-inducedthermogenesis (10%) and physical activity (w20e30%)
So physical activity is a small component of the energy equation & also what other studies have found is that when its increased for exercise its then decrease or adapted to later in the day.
Indirect calorimetry allows to measure a volume of gasexchange (CO2 production, O2 consumption), and to determine theproportion of different nutrients oxidized and calculate the energyreleased from each nutrient.
The lab test I will recreate with some youtube friends when I have the time & money to do it will be with this gas exchange and us exceeding our TDEE by enormous amounts of calories to show that we continue to metabolize fat while not adding to our fat stores.
The respiratory quotient (RQ) is the ratio CO2 production/O2consumption. A RQ of 1 indicates 100% CHO oxidation, while ageneral value of 0.7 indicates 100% fatty acid oxidation
That is how to tell if you are burning fat or carbohydrate (cho)
The average resting RQ of 0.82 thusreflects that the human body derives more than half of its energyfrom fatty acids and most of the rest from glucose (Table 1). Theamount of fatty acids released from adipose tissue during rest typicallyexceeds daily energy needs
Even at rest you are a fat burning machine
Nevertheless, dietary CHO does not generally increase an individual’sfat storage by de novo lipogenesis, even after ingestion ofCHO-rich diet for 3 days, and fat deposited in the adipose tissuecomes mainly from ingested lipids
I mean I try to be reserved when I teach this stuff, it is so hard to not spike the football & shout expletives at all the people spreading incorrect information & further leading our society into dietary ruin.  I know its difficult to grasp calculus, but that is why its required in most reputable colleges.  WSLF takes these hard to understand concepts and puts them into a practical plan that no one can mess up.
So NO you would not necessarily gain weight in your scenario and would probably still lose weight on WSLF because you are burning fat all day and not contributing to your fat balance via dietary sources.  Extra carbs are metabolized or passed & do not contribute to fat balance, if they are refined you end up using more carbs than fat during the day which effects your fat balance.
So there ya go, eat beyond your needs on WSLF & still lose fat off your body.  Completely supported by science and doesn’t hurt that we have 10,000 people in our Facebook group sharing their amazing results on the daily.  Now if you tried to do this same experiment with fat, you’d fail because 95~99% of it stores & you’d likely gain an extra pound every week, but on WSLF you lose weight while watching Netflix.  Why again?  BECAUSE CALORIES ARE NOT EQUAL :)

Holy shit
I know you suggest cutting caffeine (and I'm working on it). Do you think having a large latte with soy milk is something that may prevent me from losing my last ten lbs? I also put a decent amount of salt on my food (working on this too). Im asking because I feel like I'm kind of puffy, when I'm pretty lean actually. It depends on the day though. I can't figure out which it's from - or both? I eat wslf otherwise. Opinions?
we run on calories not chemicals.  caffeine is like anti nourishment, its how to make sure you will not eat enough during the day and then binge out at night.  The worst part about it is that it instantly hardens your arteries putting you at risk of a heart attack or stroke.  Stop zombifying yourself.
Google it and see how much trouble the caffeine industry goes to to make you believe the opposite…  Starfucksyourlife.
http://preventdisease.com/news/articles/coffee_may_harden_arteries.shtml
The amount of caffeine in just one cup of coffee could be enough to harden a person’s arteries for several hours afterward, according to a study presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress here.

So helpful
Is your little camera for vlogging and big cameras for pictures? What do you recommend for taking nice photos with the occasional video? Thanks :)
Yeah pretty much, however I also use my big camera for “sit down” videos.
Choosing a camera is like… choosing a partner 😂
Not really but kinda!
it’s hard to find a camera that has it all. You will always have to sacrifice something, whether it be the size, the weight, the screen flipping, the mic port, the sensor, the auto focus. There are so many aspects. It’s taken me and Tim years of using cameras to really figure out what we really need (and we still change our mind a lot haha).
Then you also have the lens, yes the body is important, it’s the foundation, but the lens is what makes the different between an okay shot and an amazing shot.
Mirrorless technology is the future so if you are new to cameras then I wouldn’t recommend investing in dlsr’s, even though they are know as the “pro” camera. You can know get just as good image with a much much smaller mirrorless camera. Sony, Olympus and Panasonic are the best brands for mirrorless. Sony has by far the most choice, and the cameras are amazing, it’s also the only one to have a full frame mirrorless camera (Sony A7) but the reason I didn’t choose Sony is because all their high end cameras don’t have a flip around screen. That makes filming videos very very hard.
They still have mid range cameras with a flip screen that can work well for filming and photos with like the A5100.
My choice was the OMD EM5 mark 2 And I just upgraded to the OMD EM1 mark 2
It’s really amazing, Small and light, perfect for traveling, photos are incredible.
My lens is the Olympus zoom lens 12- 40mm 2.8
So overall it’s a pretty expensive setup if you are just starting out. But it all depends on what you want to get out of it.
Also the Panasonic gh4 is an amazing camera and cheaper but it is a video focused camera.
If you aren’t filming much and don’t care about the film screen, look into the Sony mirrorless range, maybe a A6500…
If this makes no sense, do more research before buying a camera and know what you want out of it. YouTube videos help a lot 👌🏼❤
So that leaves the Olympus

The bumblebee was officially added to the endangered species list.
 Please:
Go plant an organic flower native to wherever you are
Leave your “weeds” alone they probably aren’t hurting anything
Stop using/buying Roundup and all other insecticides, herbicides, pesticides.
If you have a bee problem (which almost never happens) call a local beekeeper! They will remove them safely free of charge
Bumblebees usually nest underground and just wanna be left alone! They won’t hurt you. To prevent destroying their habit during hibernation, avoid mowing yards until April or May. If you do mow, raise the blades to the highest setting
Please save my fat clumsy fuzzy friends I love them and they’re very good pollinators.

Wow
with hormones you mean imbalance due to ed or period loss too much exercise etc.. thats why weight gain appear aightt😊
We all have several different hormones in our body’s. Yes, we have reproductive hormones (think oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone in women. Men, testosterone) which, when unbalanced, affect whether or not we will have a regular menstrual cycle. We also have stress and reaction hormones which will express our “fight or flight” (the main one you’ll probably be most aware, and heard of a number of times, cortisol) response in situations. Another hormone is  melatonin - which changes throughout the day and increases after dark which triggers the response in our body to sleep. There are many hormones in our body, some more prominent than others, but they all have a specific role to play ! The hormones I’m referring to in relation to our weight however is leptin. Leptin is directly connected to our body fat levels - when levels of body fat become too “high” for our body’s preference, then leptin levels go up. Why ? Leptin is also known as the “satiety” hormone. When put more fat on our body, leptin levels go up in accordance signalling our hunger drive to go down. When we lose body fat, leptin levels go down in accordance and our hunger drive will increase again to normal levels, or increased amounts of course if we become too low in body weight/fat. The body is quite fascinating really ! ☺️
