“She told you she was down, you let it slip by. So from then, she kept it on the inside. She told herself she was alright, but she was telling white lies, Can’t you tell? Look at her dull eyes. She knew she was depressed, didn’t want to admit it, didn’t think she fit it, everyone seemed to miss it… she carried on like a soldier with a battle wound, bleeding out from every cut her body consumed..”

I just find it funny when society says they accept everyone no matter who you are yet we have racism, sexism, body shamers, men haters/women haters etc. Society is about as fucked up as it’s standards

“This demon
Doesn’t walk in my shadows.
No,
It wraps its self around me
And shoves its tongue down my throat,
Forcing me to never forget
The taste of my tears that night.
It runs its fingers through my hair
And pulls my head back,
Forcing me to hear continuously,
The sound of my screams that night.”
