stardew valley is so fun because theres a lot of things to speculate about. like, where are the caves from? wheres the bottom of caves? how tf linus is so homeless, and all we know about him is that he went deep in the caves one time? are these an ancient catacombs? did linus lost his mind because of dangers of caves? and so on!!

im still thinking about how tove jansson was unmatched character designer too, bcos i feel that, as much as i love most of cartoon adaptations, none of them managed to capture the vibe of original illustrations perfectly. like, her lines are very distinct, yet simple, and convey the essence of the character fully through shapes (mostly round moomins), face, hair and clothes details (like, hemulin looks exactly like old nerd, snufkin wearing expeditors hatand coat,etc). i hope its already being studied

i read sometime long ago about soul character, which is a concept where you act like that one inspiring hero to get yourself through hard times. now, snufkin wont move if he had this exam tomorrow, im dropping out
