Takarazuka Stream Party - Om Shanti Om!

Hello all, and happy weekend!

By very popular request, this Saturday, March 20th at 6:30 PST, I will be streaming Takarazuka’s Om Shanti Om, a Japanese musical theatre adaptation of the Bollywood hit by the same name!  It’s funny, it’s ridiculous, it’s glitzy, and it’s heartfelt- and the director of the movie its based on saw it live and absolutely loved it, so if it’s got her approval, you know it’s good.  I’ll be streaming the Umeda 2017 run of the performance, and the cast list and a short summary can be found here. This will be un-subtitled, but if you Google the movie itself and read the plot, you’ll have no trouble at all following along!

As always, everyone is welcome for as long or as little as they can stay, and those of us watching who have seen it before will be more than thrilled to answer any questions anyone might have- about the show and the plot, or about Takarazuka itself!
